We always wipe down and disinfect everything after each guest and change the water in the Hot tub.
'1 of a Kind', a 1,200 square foot log cabin, is nestled snugly in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin's stairway is handcrafted from the Cedar trees that were harvested to build the cabin. You will enjoy total seclusion because this cabin is located at the very top of a private Mountain. From the two large wooden decks and the cozy balcony, you can watch the beautiful Sunrise and the Sunset.
Cabin Layout: The first-floor level has the living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, the bedroom with a King size bed, a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a 4-head custom-built tile shower. The bathroom is completely handicapped-accessible.
Soak your aching muscles in the indoor jacuzzi whirlpool tub or the big, bubbling hot tub on your private deck while you enjoy the magnificent 360 degree views. Enjoy cooking up a memorable meal in the fully-equipped kitchen or on the handy charcoal barbecue grill outside. The cabin also features original paintings by artist Judy Doench
The game room (upstairs level) is well furnished for your enjoyment with a fun pool table, numerous board games, and a futon. The second Bathroom, with its custom tile shower, is on this level.
Other unique features '1 Of A Kind' offers are 3 sets of French Doors you can open to feel like you are right outside, a fun outdoor fire pit for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows and even a unique romantic indoor waterfall located in a corner of the living room.

Almost perfect

The space was perfect for my wife and I. The location/view was amazing, easy check-in, cleanliness was really good. The only issue was carpenter bees, they were everywhere outside (we're talking dozens and dozens swarming around constantly) . Owner was responsive about it(even though he couldn't do anything) but they were a nuisance on the back deck and around the hot tub. Luckily, they were not a problem once the sun went down. If it wasn't for that, place would have been perfect!

Cabin was awesome, the carpenter bee's were out in full force but didnt bug us much. Watching thw storms roll over the mountains while relaxing in the hottub was one awesome experience. Cabin was comfortable for the 4 of us. Would definitely stay again.

Exceeded our Expectations

This was a wonderful homebase for our trip. We were looking for something that was quiet and away from everything, and that’s exactly what this cabin was. It was exactly as described. We had no problems whatsoever with the property. The hot tub worked great as did all other utilities in the cabin. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Property was very nice, the one and only complaint is that the bed sheets are worn out and do not stay on the bed, needs replaced, otherwise nice place. Quiet and private. Our second visit to 1 Of A Kind.

Just a quick trip

The pictures and the description of the property say it all. The sunrise's from the back patio were beautiful and at night to be able to see the stars so close and clear, it couldn't be beat!! The cabin has wonderful woodwook that was taken from the property when it was being built and it's hand crafted. I would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!!

Perfect place for our honeymoon

So beautiful!!! Place was even prettier in person surrounded by mountains. The drive up is really nice too, no riding on the sides on cliffs or anything lol. We loved it so much and it was the perfect getaway for the start of our marraige

It was a beautiful cabin great views from the game room. Really enjoyed the pinball machine and pool table. John the host was great! We had 5 inches of snow on Friday and John came Saturday with his tractor and scraped the snow from our driveway and it was cold. Great cabin with great views! The shower was amazing with the 4 heads.

Cozy quiet getaway

The photos of this cabin do not do it justice,it is gorgeous! Its far enough off the main road for much needed peace and quiet,but yet close enough to run and grab a quick lunch. Although bring your groceries and you wont need to leave. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub were our personal favorite amenities! We will definitely be back to stay again!

Sevierville Cabin

1 of A Kind was as pictures show. One thing to consider is gravel road coming in and the very steep driveway which is characteristic of the area. A suv or truck is ideal to get to the location. Comfortable Bed. Cabin needed a good deep clean. Was dust in places, and floors needed swept and mopped.comfortable.

Amazing

This cabin was so beautiful. Even when the fog covered the view you still could see how amazing it really was. Having no WiFi was hard at first but it was a good thing in the end we spent a lot of time together and that was the point. As a Floridian we were worried about driving up the mountain but the roads weren’t bad at all. Overall this place really deserves its 10/10 rating.

Relaxing and secluded

This cabin is adorable! They even had it decorated for Christmas. The craftsmanship of the cabin was amazing. You can tell the owner really put a lot of effort into this beautiful retreat. He was also very responsive and accommodating to any issue we may have had. Everything was clean, beautiful and exactly as described.The king size bed was very comfortable, which is always my biggest fear when we rent a place. However, this one was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

This cabin is as advertised and very cozy. The views are amazing. We sat outside most of the time because it was breathtaking but did enjoy some friendly games of billiards. 10 out of 10 for this cabin.

Honeymoon

Me and my wife stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking and the pictures do it no justice. Our best memories are just relaxing in the hot tub taking in the view.

Beautiful Cabin, Beautiful View

For older straight-flat-roads-with-shoulders urban dwellers, the drive there was a bit hair raising. But, the cabin and the view are worth it. (We did get somewhat used to the drive.) Everything you need is there and the host is very nice to communicate with.

Everything was hand crafted with allot of love and creativity. Now both of our parents, have this beautiful piece of the mountains to enjoy anytime they want. And we would like to share it with you as well.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property with a vision of the most amazing Log Cabin I could dream up. When we found this land at the dead end of the street. Then climbed to the top and saw the views, we knew this was going to be ours. It was one of the most amazing properties we had ever seen. After a year of allot of hard work. We finished building 1 of a Kind.

360 Views, Completely private but close to everything, Can see for Miles, Fire Pit is awesome, The King size Log bed is extremely comfortable, The shower is extra large with 4 shower heads, Custom shower upstairs, Handmade furniture, Cedar staircase, Custom original art work. Amazing place to relax.
