Kaunis täysin kalustettu 3 makuuhuoneen 2 kylpyhuoneen koti vuokrattavana Gaston-järvellä. Päätason avoin pohjaratkaisu sisältää takkahuoneen, ruokasalin ja täysin varustetun keittiön jääpalakoneella. Kaksi makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa queen-size-vuoteet ja kylpyamme porealtaalla, täydentävät ensimmäistä kerrosta. Ranskalaiset ovet avautuvat tilavalle kannelle kaasugrilli, ja kauniit näkymät vehreille vihreille puille, jotka varjostavat alapihaa, näkymä järvelle ja ilta-auringonlaskuihin. Tilavassa alatasossa on iso avoin olohuone, iso kylpyhuone ja kolmas kuningatar makuuhuone. Alakerran virkistyshuoneessa on täysikokoinen ilmakiekko pöytä ja fooseball, baarialue ja elokuvakanava, jossa on 60 tuuman televisio, surround-ääni. Tarjolla on elokuvia, kirjoja ja jopa leluja pienille lapsille. Ranskalaiset ovet avautuvat terassille alemman tason rec-huoneen ulkopuolella. Mukavilla patio-istuimilla voit nauttia järvinäkymästä.

Puinen kävelytie seuraa sinua alemmalta tasolta aina katettuun venevajaan hissin, voiman ja valon avulla. Yksityisen venevaja ja venerampin käyttö sisältyy vuokraan. Saatavana on myös kolme kajakkia. Koska tämä talo sijaitsee poukaman takana, veneen melu on hyvin vähäinen. On hyvä kalastus heti laiturilta ja myös tikkaat uimiseen. Tupakointi tai lemmikkieläimet sallittuja. Lyric's Lairissa ei ole myöskään Internetiä, joka olisi täydellinen niille, jotka tarvitsevat rentoutua ja ottaa tauon sähköpostista ja Facebookista! Convenient locale for fishing enthusiasts.

Location on the lake with a dock was critically important and met all expectations. Clean and well maintained.

Great lake house

Really enjoyed the availability of the creek which flows into Lake Gaston. Boat dock was an A+. Neighborhood was quite and well kept. Would like to stay again next year. For everyone who has not been to Lake Gaston,and likes to fish and swim this is a great place to rent. Having a boat is a plus and should be a must have. Rental was as advertised.

Great lil getaway

The house was very clean and fully stocked. Air hockey was a huge hit with the kids. Great dock and deep water. Overall one of the best rentals Ive ever stayed in. Owner was great to work with.

Super Clean and Fun

This property was so clean when we arrived. Honestly, the game room was a huge hit for us! The beds were super comfortable, always a plus too. The Owner was very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this property for anyone with a small group or looking for a quiet place.

We had a great time at the property. Location was great. Everything we needed was in the house. Easily rented jet skis and tied them to the dock for overnight. No issues.

Very relaxing

On the lake in a cove. Ample space for boats in and out but small enough to stay quiet. A turtle would come and greet us in the morning and evening.

Comfy, Cozy and Clean

We stayed 3 nights with 2 adults and 4 teenagers and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and the beds were comfy. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. The teens loved the downstairs area to hang out and play football and air hockey while the parents enjoyed hanging out playing cards on the deck. We all had a wonderful time on the kayaks. Would rent again and hope to come back soon!

Great few days away!

It was a relaxing get away for the family before school starting. I can tell you being an avid salt water fisherman learning how to fresh water fish is a whole new experience lol. Docking my offshore boat in your boathouse was an experience to say the least. It was so nice to dock your boat and walk right into the house. We will be back again.

Perfect home on the lake!

We have stayed in this lovely home every year for many years and it just keeps getting better. It is extremely well equipped and supplied. It is newly remodeled and updated and is perfect for a family with kids. Lots of toys are available along with air hockey and fooseball. We'll be back next year!

Awesome!!!!

The only thing I would change about our experience at Lyrics Lair is there isn't any Wi-Fi. We spoke with the owner when we checked in and you couldn't ask for a nicer, more informative lady. We will definitely be going back this fall to see all of the beautiful leaves changing colors!!

House was beautiful. Was literally just as described. Word..for...word. Only negative was house/yard maintenance at 7:55 am on next to last morning. Worth the money.

Clean and very stocked house

This house has everything and more! Very clean with all the extras you can think of. We brought our boat (a 22 ft chap) and we had plenty of room (depth) at the dock. Easy in and out of the cove to the main lake. The neighbors were extremely friendly and the property was well kept. The game room was lots of fun, we didn't have any little ones with us so we didn't look into the extras for littles. Beds, bedding and towels were all nice and clean. The house kept a good temperature even with it being 95 most days we were there! We plan to rent again!

Family of 5

Our family of 5 stayed for 3 nights. The property is as listed and is very clean. Great outdoor space and views of the lake. It rained 2 of the 3 days we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the lake but the house has plenty to do. Books, games, movies and air hockey. There is no internet service at the property. Cell reception is spotty, I have AT&T and my husband has Sprint. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Lyric's Lair Top Notch

We had a fabulous time, the house was beautiful, spacious, had air hockey, foosball, movies, PS2 games, kayaks, and even a boat lift. Kids swam right off the dock, I caught catfish, bream, and bass. The boat launch right next door and private. We had a super time. Maybe the only recommendation would be for owner to get Wi-Fi, but honestly, that forced us all to enjoy the great outdoors which is what these trips are all about. We hope to be invited again, we LOVED Lake Gaston and the Lyric's Lair!!

Like Coming Home Every Night

My bass club holds a tournament at Gaston every year and this year I rented this lovely homey dwelling for a week. The owners have taken a truly personal approach to their house. First, the house is clean from top to bottom. The furniture is very comfortable. This house is well maintained. Everything worked; I didn't have to go looking for a light bulb. The kitchen facilities will rival your own. Gas range!!! It is very well equipped. The gas grill worked! The beds are very comfortable, and the jacuzzi was very much appreciated after fishing all day. The private boat ramp is 50 feet from the covered dock. What a blessing that boat ramp is! The setting is beautiful. You are in the woods, surrounded by forest. We found no bugs in the house, but expect to see a bug or two…you're in the woods at a lake! When we arrived all the toilets had paper and extras, hand soap was available in every bathroom. There were paper towels in the rack; dish washing soap under the sink. Many items not usually found in a rental were provided…including ground coffee ready to go! The owners have thought a great deal about the little things. I have rented a lot of lake and beach houses and this experience was one of the best. No, it is not a fancy mansion. It is a cozy warm home-like experience with owners who care. Everything was done well through out the entire process and the guide the owner provided was excellent. This would be a great house for a small family; mom, dad, two children. There is a great play room with a huge screen, foosball table, and air hockey table. For fishermen, it's the cat's meow. It would be a great retreat for young couples and great for weekend get aways. Everything was just fine!

Fourth Year and Always a Great Stay

Excellent property for a family stay. On a quiet cove where the kids love to swim and fish. Pea Hill Creek is ideal for tubing and any other water sports. Excellent condition. Plenty of space to gather on the decks. Very convenient community boat ramp is easy to use.

Great lake vacation!

We had a wonderful time!! Super clean house and owner was very responsive! Kids loved the game room and even tried out the kayaks! Great tucked away house for a few days on the lake!

Just as advertised & even better!

This rental was just as advertised, and even better! We had our family of 4, which includes a 14 y.o. & an 8 y.o. There were tons of movies, games, gaming system, a foosball table & an air hockey table. The cleanliness was too notch and THE perfect rental! We'll definitely be renting here again....wish we could've stayed longer. :)

Absolutely the BEST

We LOVE Lyrics Lair and have stayed twice here already. The boat ramp is right beside the property. It has all the amenities you could ask for. The best is the ABSENCE of internet which allowed our family to bond on beautiful Lake Gaston. We even arrived a little early and the super sweet cleaning lady let us dock the boat while she was finishing up. So a full day on the lake was a bonus. Malena is a very responsive owner also. Love the boat lift access and the fishing on the dock. Caught two big spotted large mouth bass. Just total fun at a 10 star lake cottage. We will be back every Summer we can

Hello! We are the Blevins family. We live in Woodbridge, Virginia and are a family of three. A working wife and husband who both work in downtown Washington, DC and our daughter, Lyric, for whom the house is named (Lyric's Lair) We are your typical two-income working busy family. We love making memories at Lake Gaston and still schedule use of the house ourselves working around our many repeat renters who come back each year to make their own memories at Lake Gaston.

This property was originally supposed to be a 'build it and sell it" type of investment, but we fell in love with Lake Gaston and its been an important part of our life ever since. We didn't originally think we would rent the house, but found that we loved it so much we wanted to share our little piece of Lake Gaston heaven with others who wanted to enjoy this unique lake.

Everything we do, we do with family in mind. Like childproof locks and outlet covers throughout the house so that parents with small children can relax a bit more. Nightlights, and a booster seat are provided as an assist for the little ones to feel comfortable in a new place. The movie area downstairs has a sectional sofa instead of theater seating so everyone can sit together. We work hard to keep the house in excellent shape, keep it modern and provide all the comforts of home for our guests.

The house faces the west, so the sunsets in the evening are particularly spectacular from the upstairs deck. The house is shaded and protected by the tall trees that stand in the yard. These trees provide shade, and protection from boat noise, but most of all provide a natural playground for many species of native birds, including humming birds, and red crested woodpeckers. The low level lights outside at night provide opportunities for star gazing at a level you just can't get in the city. The lake house was really designed to fit as unobtrusively as possible into its natural surroundings. We have a saying in our family that goes "You haven't been TO the lake, until you have been IN the lake"!

With the increased interest in renting at Lake Gaston, new businesses are popping up all the time! We are now just a short drive from a coffee shop, breweries, a winery, and antique shops.
