Quiet & Cozy

I was a bit nervous because of the affordability but ended up being very pleased. Very quiet neighborhood, centered right where I needed to be. The suite was clean and cozy. I would definitely recommend this spot. Also I would stay again next time I come to visit

Comfortable, but a few additions would be great!

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Anna’s place. The bed was comfortable, which is always a big plus.We have a few suggestions. Given there is a microwave and kitchen, it would be helpful tohave the necessary utensils for making a meal and eating. Regular cups, plates, bowls and flatware would be a great addition (vs. paper and plastic). It would be helpful to have a dish towel. A cloth bath mat is a necessity for getting out of the shower. We needed more water and did not get a reply. (Anna graciously brought 2 coffee mugs when requested). The neighborhood was convenient. We think the price points is a bit high.

Convenient for a conference stay

This was a perfect place to stay while attending a conference at Wake Forest Medical Center. It was clean and quiet.

This little place was perfect for my husband & I. We were in Winston Salem meeting friends and needed a litle efficiency place for a couple of nights. Clean, comfortable bed, plenty of coffee supplied, good size refrigerator and the host was wonderful to work with. There is no stove or oven, but we weren't looking for one. Would definitely stay again!!

Cute little place

Cute little place. Everything was tidy and the host was prompt when we had an issue with the battery for the key code. Nice little coffee bar with coffee and creamers and sugar and a microwave with mini fridge.

Love staying here for work events at the Benton. Lots of options for food in the area & on the way. The property is well maintained & very clean.

Great for the price

Nice no frills place if you need a spot to stay long-term. Comfortable bed and couch. Good and simple atmosphere. Pillows weren’t so great, but I’m kind of a pillow snob. Was much more roomy and better than staying in a hotel for sure. Convenient location, but not a neighborhood that you can really walk around in. Host was timely in her responses. I would stay here again if I needed a long-term place to stay in Winston Salem!

Excellent Place for Solo-Traveling Females

I was in town for a work convention, and majority of the other convention patrons stayed at the Convention Center in downtown Winston-Salem. Two nights at this location was considerably more affordable than one night at the recommended hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and was relatively pleasant to walk around, since the property is in the historic district. The shower is HUGE with great hot water pressure and temperature. The host went out of her way to respect my privacy. The room was clean, comfortable, and the couch was just as comfortable as the bed! I felt extremely safe and secure, with a private entrance to the quarters. There are multiple locks on the doors, but if you leave early in the morning or arrive at night, there is no lighting in the surrounding area. I definitely preferred these accomodations compared to a hotel. I will look for this location again when I must return to travel back to the area for training. Enjoyable stay, clean, comfortable, quiet, and quaint. Perfect for a solo traveling female!

A really convenient and quiet place close to everything. The place is clean with great amenities, easy parking, easy chick in, easy everything. Very responsive and attentive host, who obviously takes great, great care of the property the guests.

Amazing but not punctual

Great amazing stay but not very punctual to the check in process. Had to contact VRBO and host sent check in code literally a minute before check in time. We need to have that code prior to check in time. What if I had no service, battery to the cellphone died..? Unacceptable for a tenant to have to wait and go to customer service. And on the microwave shortage, they should have been more specific. All we had was the lights on and TV and heater on in a complete different room. Yet microwave got turned on and cut the WHOLE breaker off in the area of downstairs. Had to wait approximately 10 minutes for her to come back to turn it on. Please be specific that no device should be turned on while having microwave on
