This was our second time visiting this property. The seclusion and nature is what sold this property to me. It was nice to spend quality family time relaxing, playing lots of pool, cooking and some hot tub time. We will definitely be back!!!
We had a great weekend at Big Sky Cabin! It was very clean and a wonderful setup for reconnecting with friends. Very easy communication with the owner. We would stay here again!
Great location for what we were looking for. The house was excellent with lots of room. Loved the hot tub and family room with pool table. We saw the Northern Lights while there....bonus.
Found this property while looking for places to stay near Alto Pass. Was a great cabin! Tucked far enough away from people but close to the wineries! The host Brian was over the top accommodating!
We will definitely stay at his properties again!

Big sky cabin was great! Nice and clean, comfortable, easy to find!
We had my sister's bachelorette party on the southern Illinois wine trail, and stayed at big sky, which was a perfect location for our big group!
We really enjoyed the seclusion and privacy as well as the peace and quiet. But we also felt safe and secure. The host was accessible and great with communication. We highly recommend Big Sky Cabin!
We absolutely loved the Big Sky cabin and are already planning our next trip back. It was such a relaxing weekend. We loved the property and the fire pit was really fun for our chill friend’s weekend. The home itself was clean the hot tub was really relaxing. Brian was very responsive and easy to talk to, making the entire trip stress free. If you are looking for a calm weekend getaway with friends or family do yourself a favor and book the Big Sky Cabin!
The property is well maintained and updated. Communication with the owner was great. Close to the wine trail. We loved the well stocked kitchen and the great outdoor fire area. Highly recommend staying at this place.
The family traveled down for some hiking and the wine trail experience. The house was perfect for us. When we were hanging at the house so many things to do with TV, pool table, darts, arcade games. The kitchen had all the essentials to cook dinner and breakfast when we didn't feel like leaving. So close to the wine trail which we did one day and a quick 2-hour trip to Garden of the Gods. We intend on returning next fall as there are many more places to hike and wineries to visit.
The property is beautiful and even prettier when the sun is setting !
Great for bigger families or friend groups! We celebrated my bestfriend’s little brother leaving for the navy at the end of the month. House has many games and other amenities to just enjoy each others company and not being stuck in a phone !!! 10/10 from us (:
This place works well for our three couples. Plenty of space. Clean. Nice setting although a bit isolated. Only problems were the internet was inconsistent and the tv remote did not work.
Everything was good except the kitchen. The cabinets need much attention, no kitchen towels, no tin foil and storage bags, dishwaher did not get dishes clean. Hot tub worked nicely!! Bath towels and bedding were
very nice. Suggest supplying board games and card games. Pool table was great!!
a few more board games and card games.
We loved our stay at the rental house. The property is huge and has a fire pit which we used every night. The house has great entertaining areas. We used the farm house table every night. Perfect for a group of friends. The wineries are about 10 minutes away from the house.

Fairly well kept up, very distant from wine trail, comfortable.
A rather isolated location with plenty of room for our group of six. Every thing worked and there was plenty of things for meals and whatever. The outside grill was a mess and there is a leak under the kitchen sink. Otherwise the site was well cared for and well suited for our needs.

Relaxing family get away
Great property. We stayed with 6 adults and 5 children ages 1-11 and it was comfortable for all of us. The kids were able to play safely. The 2 living areas were perfect for some quiet time. Brian was very accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. We were able to cook a thanksgiving meal and all eat together. It was perfect. The house was stocked with all essentials and we didn’t need a things. Very clean and comfortable. We’d definitely book again.
We had 4 families from 3 states and chose this awesome property for a fantastic time together. We hiked nearby at Little Grand Canyon, visited wineries along the Shawnee Wine Trail and finished each day with a sunset then bonfire. There was a small neighborhood store with many supplies and a little longer drive to a Kroger for big trips. This property had plant of room for us to spread out. We prepared many meals including a Thanksgiving feast in the large kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Big Sky and would absolutely recommend.

Excellent place to stay if you have a large group and want privacy.
This is a very nice place to stay with a large group. The game room has a pool table, one of the old video games and a large TV with lots of seating. The kitchen table was great for game playing. All the bedrooms had nice beds and end tables on each side of the bed. The master had it's own bathroom, which came in very handy with 7 women staying in the same place. There is a fire pit which we didn't get to use because it rained. If you are looking for solitude and room I would recommend this property.
My fiance (now husband) and I loved our weekend at this cabin, and we will be back! We had planned on bringing our kids, but it ended up being just us. The property has some amazing views, and we loved sitting out on the deck with our morning coffee and stargazing in the evening with some wine, listening to the frogs, crickets, and whippoorwills (note: bring insect repellent!) It was also awesome having a pool table and arcade game in the family room. We got married in the front yard early Sunday morning, just us, with only a minister and photographer, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and serene setting. Many thanks to Brian for a wonderful weekend at this gorgeous place!
