Stonebridge är en mycket charmig, nybyggda (färdig i slutet av 2008), fristående timmer klädd hus i en mycket speciell plats med de mest fantastiska utsikt över Knoydart. Huset är smakfullt inrett och erbjuder lyxigt boende för upp till 6 personer. Nedervåningen är en handmålad skräddarsydda fullt utrustat kök, inklusive mikrovågsugn, kyl / frys och diskmaskin med matplats utanför plats för upp till 6. Det är ett verktyg / boot rum med tvättmaskin och torktumlare. Vardagsrummet är intim och mysig med en modern braskamin, TV / DVD-spelare och mycket bekväma soffor! På bottenvåningen finns också en promenad i våt duschrum och sovrum med dubbelsäng. De 2 ytterligare sovrum (en dubbelsäng och en dubbel) ligger på övervåningen tillsammans med en separat badrum. Det finns ett varierat utbud av böcker och spel. Wifi.

Passendes Haus zur wunderschönen Insel

Wir (5 Personen) haben unseren Urlaub auf Skye, trotz vielem Regen, sehr genossen!!! Das Haus war sauber und gemütlich (auch wenn nicht alles unserem Geschmack entsprach), der Blick auf das Meer hat uns immer wieder fasziniert und wir hatten alles, was wir für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigten. Lediglich der Verkehr auf der kleinen Straße vor dem Haus (hauptsächlich zu Fährzeiten in Armadale) hat uns etwas überrascht - wir hatten mit weniger gerechnet. Sollten wir Skye ein weiteres Mal besuchen, würden wir dieses Ferienhaus gerne wieder buchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank!!!

Magical Skye

This property was so wonderfully appointed and really comfy and cosy too. We had good weather and could open up the glass frontage to use the outside spaces. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely house!

We already stayed at Stonebridge 6 years ago and were happy to come back again. The house is lovely, clean and well equipped. The view over the Sound of Sleat is great, this time we were lucky and even saw dolphins. A distillery is in walking distance, we recommend to take a tour. Thanks for having us again!

Perfect week away

Stunning property in a fantastic location. Everything we could have wished for and more. Would highly recommend this property on Skye and will hopefully return next summer. Lovely weather, brilliant views and very well equipped holiday let with everything we needed during our stay.

Cottage très chaleureux

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce cottage très chaleureux, aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et très propre. La vue est magnifique, nous avons pu voir des phoques grâce aux jumelles à disposition. L'équipement de la cuisine est exceptionnel. Quel plaisir aussi de pouvoir utiliser le poêle avec le bois mis à disposition. La proximité de la route n'est pas gênante. Contacts très faciles avec l'hôte. Nous recommandons vivement!

A good week despite the rain!!

Despite an extremely wet week, being able to return each day to Stonebridge Cottage made our stay an enjoyable one. The cottage is of a high standard & we have no hesitation in recommending the property as an excellent place to stay. We would have no hesitation in using it again.

Great house on the quiet and stunning Sleat Peninsula

Lovely house, well equipped and an excellent location on the beautiful and quiet Sleat peninsula of Skye. The veranda was great for sitting out on. We had a great family holiday. A minor point but whilst there was an abundance of wine glasses there were no beer glasses!

Almost Perfect.

So much about this property was spot on. A super bathroom with walk in shower down stairs, fully equipped kitchen, warm and cosy relaxing space with bookcase, wifi, fabulous view from a terrace with a ruined castle within walking distance - terrific! We just had a couple of niggles - the oven and cooker was over complicated. As a group of friends, we wanted to make some meals and eat them together, unfortunately, the cooker proved to be very difficult to understand and not one of our party, which consisted of a scientist, three teachers and a designer, could really get the hang of it. A couple of extra seats on the terrace would also have been a boon, since we were a party of six, rather than having to lift the heavy dining chairs in and out from the living room. The heavy large sized gravel in the steep driveway was also a challenge for our three cars. Slipping and sliding! However, as my 5 star review above shows - overall, this was a wonderful house in a magical location. I have stayed in houses, flats and cottages all over the world and this was certainly one of the best.
