Look no further, the PERFECT home to relax

This home has to be the nicest place we stayed in for all our travels. Not only is it the perfect, quiet and peaceful location - the home is lovingly cared for and maintained and it’s obvious. Sparkling clean, welcoming and stunningly decorated - it far exceeded our expectations. Before we even arrived, Ash the maintenance supervisor invited us for early check-in. Wow! We felt welcomed and cared for. I can’t thank k the owners enough for providing such an ideal place for rest and relaxation. Thank you!

Easy walk to Lake Gregory!

Lake Gregory had lots of Activities to participate in from nature hiking, water slides and inflatable waterpark, boat rentals and more. Loved Toni's Mexican Restaurant a one minute walk from the property! My family and I enjoyed our nights on the deck!

Serene escape

Very Nice house in Crestline

House in Crestline was wonderful. The hosts were easy to get a hold of and responsive. Easy walking distance ro Lake Gregory and some fun spots in town.

Charming, clean, great location

Everything was exactly as advertised. We were very pleased. Lots of little bonuses were noticeable, such as pancake mix in the pantry and extra paper towels. The only two tweaks I would recommend in order for us to enjoy a future stay even more as we hope to return, is (1) Use unscented detergent on the linens, because the scent is Overwhelmingly strong, abd (2) Clean the lights on both the upstairs balcony and the downstairs balcony, because they were cobwebby. Still, everything else was great, and the level of cleanliness inside was very good. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Nice place & great location

We had a great stay. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. We enjoyed the outside fireplace and the master suite was awesome. Location was the best part. We could walk to food & the swimming part of the lake. There was a skatepark and walking paths super close. Only thing missing was shampoo and maybe an extra set of pillow cases for the pillows for the pull out bed. Overall though we enjoyed ourselves and the house. Already talking about a return visit

Great property! The Family loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cute, cozy, and very close to Crestline's downtown. Crestline is around 30 minutes up the hill so it's very convenient. There is no washer and dryer so make sure you pack plenty of clothes. The only unfortunate thing was the last night my wife had two spiders crawling on her while she lay in bed. This made her paranoid and she couldn't sleep upstairs. Other than that, everything was really nice.

Beautiful Cabin in a Great Location!

This cabin is so cute, clean, and the master suite is amazing. Big living room and kitchen, nice BBQ on the big deck. Clean bathrooms with lots of towels. You can see and walk to the swim beach from the cabin, but it may be private (we drove to the fishing side, which was public if you pay for parking and a fishing fee as well as your license.) Really close to the little village. The only toiletries I saw were shampoo and conditioner, so bring soap etc. We specifically chose this cabin for the air conditioning because my husband was recovering from an injury and we knew we would be chilling in the cabin and June can be hot, but we could only get the A/Cs to work the first day. Communication with the owner was fast and he sent someone over to check on it promptly to no avail, but it was ok because the master bedroom has a fan and a sliding screen door with a nice view and a breeze. That was the only issue, everything else was perfect! Would definitely book again.

Wasn't able to use the outdoor brazier/fireplace (not lighting up). Also, the batteries on the TV/Roku remotes are almost dead (low signal). Everything else about it is great though!

Location, location, location. Get ready to clean though.....

This property is perfectly located walking distance to lake and restaurants. The ONLY problem we faced is the cleanliness of the property. We spent over an hour dusting, sweeping, wiping counters and removing cobwebs and spiders from inside the house and outside deck area. We had to go purchase our own cleaning supplies at the store since they were minimally stocked!! I wish someone would have come to the property the day of to brush off the furniture and run a vacuum. We have traveled all over and spent many years camping so we are used to dirt/bugs etc. However, when you rent a property you do expect some cleanliness....

Nice location, friendly manager, decent updates, poor cleaning

Hello! The main consensus was that we did not feel that it was very clean. I did appreciated the early and late use of the house. Nadew was very friendly on the phone and easy to speak with. I did want to point out that the check out time ONLINE states 10A. The paperwork left on the counter stated 11A. This may add confusion to guests and cleaning crew if different times are posted. Some of the specific comments that were made: "I enjoyed the stay but would want them to know that one bath towel downstairs had a significant hole in it and one throw blanket has a tear. Also, could not turn heat down." "1. Upstairs bathrooms sinks don’t drain well 2. No shampoo/conditioner in upstairs shower 3. Seemed like house needed a thorough cleaning 4. Throw blankets didn’t smell clean" "The down stairs bathroom counters did not feel clean. The kitchen drawers were not organized well and some glasses in cupboards were barely clean. The dishwasher was dirty. I did not feel that the price we paid was reflective of the details that were overlooked." I hope these comments help with future stays. Thank you again for accommodating our time coming and going. Great location and enjoyed the patio (but, there were no cushions!)

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is cute, cozy, and located in a great spot. Two things; There is no washer and dryer so make sure you bring plenty of clothes if you plan on going in the snow. The other only unfortunate thing was last night my wife had two spiders crawling on her while lying in bed. This made her paranoid and she couldn't sleep upstairs. Other than that, everything was really wonderful.

Family Lake Gregory stay

The cabin was perfect location to the Lake. Cabin was cute ( a little dated) but clean. Manager responsive. Only issue was lots of ants inside and out but it is the mountains! Beds comfortable and loved how close to the lake. Nice 3 night getaway with the grandkids and daughter!

Family had a great time for 1 week

Overall Impression of Home upon arrival was better than pictures showed. Our son says "I would love to stay there again!" The home is centrally located to Lake Gregory, we took advantage of just about all there was to offer around us to enhance our stay at the rental. My wife and I got a relaxing massage at the Organic Therapies Spa, we rented a cabana at Lake Gregory and enjoyed the lake activities for the full day. We visited the Hang Glider Launch at Crestline Glider Launch. Drove to Arrowhead village and hiked at Heart Trail. All of these activities were so close and made the stay much more enjoyable. The rental didn't have a washer and dryer which I didnt bother to check before renting so that was on me, We had brought enough change of clothes so thankfully we were fine except our son, he had to hand wash some of his clothes, it was warm enough to hang dry outside so we worked around it. Air Conditioning was superior , every room had a DAIKIN Single Zone Ductless AC Unit which made it super comfortable throughout the home. Wifi was more than plentiful for our kids XBOX that they brought to play during downtime. Water pressure throughout the home was plenty to support our family of 4 and friends that later came. I would definitely bring your own knife set for cutting meats and dicing veggies, the knives there were too dull to cut through celery, we worked with it. BBQ center in backyard was perfect, it was super clean upon arrival and ready to cook on, propane tank was full. The propane fireplace outside was a nice addition, it too was full of propane and was enough to run several nights of cozy outside fireplace gatherings with family and friends. We had an issue with the stove that was easily remedied by placing a call to our contact dusting our stay. their on call staff came the next day and addressed the problem and asked if there were any other concerns they could address while we stayed there. Streaming Channnels were available when we stayed Netflix,hulu which made it very nice to watch a movie if we needed to. We would definitely come back to this place for the reason that everything was just about within walking distance.

Thought of everything

Well My sons and myself did a father thing let me tell you the owner of this property thought of everything that was our saying for the whole weekend . He thought of the skewers for smores all the way down to a flashlight it was amazing . We did not have to worry about anything . The internet was super fast no connection problems plus we had access to all the TV we wanted that was crazy we usually take our firestick but didnt need them because he thought of everything . this will be our go to place every year oh did I mention just around the block from everything the lake, market and even 7-eleven . 3 houses down nice mexican place to eat at . the only feedback is I wish he had a smoker maybe next time . thank you for an amazing time .

Great Location, Great Deck!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect, the large deck and fireplace were wonderful with plenty of seating and two picnic tables. We didn’t use the BBQ but it was under a nice cabana on the deck. The living area is small but didn’t feel cramped because it is open to the kitchen and the kitchen island has good seating and the ceiling is 2 stories high. The place has been refreshed but still a little rough around the edges due to age. The decor is really cute and mostly makes up for the rough edges. The master bedroom bed is comfortable and there’s a nice little deck right off the bedroom. We only needed 2 beds but there’s plenty of options if needed. Extra utensils are needed and cookware. Watch out when stepping into the upstairs shower, it’s slippery. Overall, this place was perfect for us and we’ll go back for sure. P. S. Lake Gregory is basically across the street but, Don’t expect a lake view. Even thru the trees you can only see a tiny bit of water.

Wonderful getaway!

This house was perfect for our family of 5. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for cooking. Super close to Lake Gregory and close to Lake Arrowhead. Highly recommend. We will be back!

One Issue

Loved our stay. Clean..funtional..comfortable.. but we did get startled early morning one of the days. The owner had sent people to the property to pick up furniture and when we woke up I thought we had someone inside I immediately called management and they didn't know anything. Called me back to say it was the owner. I had gotten upset with this as safety was a concern at the time.
