Dale Hollow Lake Paradise - Family Friendly, Pet Friendly, Party Ready!
This three bedroom, two bath house will accommodate up to 8-10 guests. Split over two levels, you can have as much togetherness or privacy as you choose. The upstairs, main living level, features a fully appointed kitchen and eat-in area plus two bedrooms and a living room. The first bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom features a queen size bed plus a full size futon/twin-bunk. The upstairs porch is reminiscent of a tree-house, nested among the branches of the mature trees. We love to eat out there on the long picnic table or just relax with a good book. Downstairs you'll find a second living area with queen-size pullout couch, dart board, pub table and tiki-bar! This space overlooks a second patio where you can play cards at the table, swing in the hammock or take a dip in the hottub. There is a third bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed. There are full laundry facilities so you can dry your towels after your big day on the lake. There are three pet/child gates in the house so you can block off the upstairs deck and inside stairwell. We also have a pack-and-play onsite for your use as well. We have wireless internet, Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+ streaming tv and an xbox and playstation for your entertainment. Feel free to bring along your streaming devices, movies or anything you may want to occupy your time.

In all of our experiences, this was the best rental so far! The house was nice and clean. It was in a great location. The kids really loved the hot tub! Overall a great experience! Thank you so very much!
I would recommend this home to my friends and family. Very comfortable, serene back porch near woods. The property manager responded promptly to questions.
We had a great trip to Dale Hollow Lake and absolutely enjoyed this cabin. Our family was celebrating my 1 year lungaverasary! I had a double lung transplant in June 2023! Cabin is Very close to marina and cabin was relaxing after spending the day boating on the lake. Jennifer was great to work with and we look forward to staying again! 😀
The property was clean and inviting. Hot Tub was clean and warm when we arrived. Great area Property was only a few minutes from 2 separate marinas.

Wonderful Family Holiday
My husband and I met our 3 adult children and their spouses here for the Thanksgiving holiday - a central location for them - each living in a different state. The cabin was cozy, had 3 very comfortable bedrooms, the kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice turkey dinner, the hot tub was relaxing and fun and the wooded surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your perfect getaway with our family!
The cabin was as described in the listing, with plenty of room for the 4 of us. There was also plenty of parking for two trucks and a boat trailer. We were only a few miles away from the marinas. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fun tiki room downstairs. The host, Jennifer, was easy to reach and very helpful when we had questions.
Perfect all the way around. 2 weeks here while visiting my daughter in Carpinteria. Plenty of room for my partner and 2 dogs and my son when he joined us for a few days. Cozy and comfortable, everything we needed. Excellent location. I will definitely return to this location again! Thank you Castro House!
We had friends getting married there on the lake and this cabin was awesome for us we were a party of 6 adults. And the cabin was very cozy and had a great location to the wedding.
We really enjoyed our time. The only negitive about this property was they ask you bring your own towels. Well we had flown in days before to attend another event and didnt know till 48 hr before that we needed towels and we flew in from another state. So we just stopped in a walmart and grabbed 4 for our party and let the other 2 in our party know to bring there own as they flew in the same night as checkn in. We would stay there again if ever in the area
We really enjoyed our stay. I loved being in nature seeing the Turkeys with babies everyday. The toad that greeted us at the step every morning and the dogs that came to say high. The back deck is so spacious and a nice place to gather. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make a meal. Jennifer was very helpful when we had questions. We had a great time making memories here. Thank you

4 Star Cabin
I absolutely love this cabin. This is my second visit to this cabin and it's probably not my last It has plenty of space with three bedrooms and two full baths Love the tiki bar and hot tub We spend most of our time on the lake however, we did enjoy the hot tub one evening A couple perks this cabin has is an ice maker in the tiki bar and both charcoal and gas grills. Thanks for great weekend!!!!

Nice cabin, close to marina, just like listing says
Our family had a great stay at this cabin. Pictures are just like it is, comfortable bedding, clean, very cute tiki bar area, hot tub nice and hot. Only inconvenience is not having any towels. The listing says there is none, but it’s still an inconvenience. Not even a kitchen dish rag. But other than that, it was a great place. We’d definitely stay again!
This place was nice and exactly like the listing. It was close to the water and had an awesome back deck to hang out on and eat dinner. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. I should have read the check in instructions better because I didn’t realize they do NOT provide bath towels or rags for showers and such and that was our biggest inconvenience the whole trip. They do tell you though we just weren’t prepared for that. Overall it was a great trip.
This cabin is perfect! A quick 3 minute drive to the boat ramp. A BIG hot tub, covered back porch, and fully loaded. It was so nice that the cabin came equipped with baby and dog gates. You can put them on the porch and lay back and relax.
This place was a win for all ages! Not to mention, our dogs were in heaven! We seen 1 car drive past our house all week, so quaint!
We take an annual trip to dale hollow and this will be where we stay from now on! 10/10!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is well thought out.
The location was great. Just a short drive to the marina and beach. The kitchen had so many dishes and pans. It was very well stocked. Would have loved to had a dish rag. There was a sponge. The basement room was great. The bar with an ice machine and the tv and lights. Well thought out. Great time. The covered deck is where we spent a lot of time. Loved it.
Everything was as expected. The one thing I thought needed to improve was the comfort of the livingvarea furniture. Furniture was older and stuffing was smadhed just not very comfey. We spent lots of time at the cabin so that was important. Everthing else was great ! We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very close to the Marina . We rented a pontoon and had a A+ day on the lake. COUNTRY kitchen resturant was a good place to get pizza or many types of food. Byrdstown had aIGA for grocery shopping.
The Margaritaville rental was all we’d hoped for and more. I hosted a NYE girl’s trip at the cabin—and between the tiki bar, hot tub, and amazing porch views: we couldn’t get enough! Even though the cabin is secluded, the lake is only a short hike away, the closest town is a close drive, and the TV comes equipped with wifi and streaming services, so there’s always entertainment.
Do NOT forget to bring extra shower/hot tub towels though!!!!! Also, bring your own paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, & related items. We came fully stocked, so there were no issues during our stay. Overall, the house came with plenty of other necessities though, and was an amazing getaway spot for all of us. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone!
Close to Eagle Cove Marina and room set up worked for our family. Kitchen well stocked except missing a plastic spatula. Enjoyed the back porch and Tikki Bar area as well as the fire pit one evening. Two bad things. Not enough trash bags on site. Grills were absolutely horrible. My husband was very upset about this as one burner was so caked it wouldn't light until he spent over and hour cleaning both grills so we could use.

Quiet retreat
The house is well equipped and the interior nice and clean. A few problems (the hot tub took two days to come up to hot-tub temperature), and the featherbed mattress topper was very prickly! Also the lower deck area was full of cobwebs. We could not get the CD player to play CD's, and the bedroom lamp had no switch, so had to be unplugged and plugged in at the wall!). The owner requires a $59 insurance policy in addition to the damage deposit. The setting is very nice - peaceful, quiet and relaxing.
Worked perfectly for our family Christmas get away. Stereo downstairs didn’t work so well but we had a bluetooth speaker so it didn’t matter. Toilet upstairs had to be adjusted a couple times, flapper got caught. Water filter in refrigerator needs replaced. No gas in either of two tanks for grill outside, but we had our own so it wasn’t an issue. Overall great cabin. Super quiet at least in December. Great parking. Hot tub was nice during cold nights. Fire ring a little too far away, but understandable distance away from cabin. Our two grand dogs had a great week bonding together at the cabin. Thank you for sharing your comfortable space with our family.

A perfect weekend!!
This cabin was perfect for an adult weekend getaway. Each couple had their own private bedroom, plus a bathroom on each floor. The covered deck out back was where we spent most of our time. It was great for socializing. We used the gas grill to help us with dinner each night, which worked perfectly. The hot tub on the patio was absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the tiki bar or dart board. Just not enough time in a weekend to enjoy everything this cabin has to offer. We rented a pontoon for the 2 days we were there at Eagles Cove Marina, which was very close to the cabin. I love this marina. The pontoon rentals were very reasonable and the employees were courteous. They even upgraded us for free each day. The weather was perfect and the lake was beautiful. We seen deer several times over the weekend. It truly was a perfect weekend. The only things that could make this cabin even better are the beds were a little noisy and the fire pit was kinda off from the cabin. However I will most certainly be returning to this cabin.

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer
We live in Nashville, TN with our three kids and our two dogs. We love to travel, and hit the road as frequently as possible. When we are at the lake, most days you'll find us on the water, hiking or enjoying the old barns and rural scenery during colder months.
Why they chose this property
We may live in Nashville, but our hearts reside at Dale Hollow. After vacationing at the lake dozens of times we decided to invest in a place of our own. We rented many houses in the area, but always found we were looking for something more. We designed our house the way we like to vacation, and we hope it will meet your needs as well. As our family has grown, so have the accommodations because we use the house too!
What makes this property unique
We looked at many houses in the area and settled on this one because of it's proximity to the water (less than 1 mile to having the boat in the lake!) and the built-in tiki-bar. We long to escape the hassles of everyday life and the 'margaritaville' theme immediately puts us in the mood to relax - all we're missing is the sand under our toes...
