2 bedroom,1 bathroom with living room,dining room and kitchenette in a secure gated community of Venture Out.Fully furnished,Colorful & great island vibe.

This is a Florida lovers Paradise.
This dry lot home can sleep 6. The house is fully furnished with a colorful island vibe. 2 modern bedrooms and 1 full bathroom.
Bathroom does connect to oe bedroom.
There is a queen bed in the bottom floor bedroom,along with AC & a flat screen TV.
One full pull out couch in the living room with a flat screen TV and AC unit. As you make your way through the kitchenette there is a single bed in its own part of the hallway before the bathroom.
The back bedroom has a Full bed with a AC unit.
3 AC units total in house.

The decoration in all the rooms give you that feel of paradise.The kitchenette has a 4 person sitting area. Toaster, Keurig/coffee maker/toaster oven /Stove.
Unfortunately there is NO oven. The dishwasher is currently broken at this time.
There is also a picnic table out front to enjoy your morning coffee or nice grilled steak.There is Outside lighting,Two bikes and a gas grill on the side of the house.
This house is 5 houses away from the Coin laundry area and extra bath houses for extra bathroom and showers if needed.- House does NOT have washer or dryer units-

The house is in a secured gated community called Venture Out,which is a 64 acre property with 24 hour security.

*** Please note, a additional one time charge (not included in your total and not charged by the owner) of $125 is paid at gate time of arrival***

That charge is to use all the amenities that Venture out has to offer which are all walking distance from the house. It includes Two boat ramps,fueling station,a convenient store(open 7 days a week)- the store alone has all last minute things you need from beer,food,snacks, toiletries,bait & ice,80 ft heated pool(with ocean views) a children’s swimming area,hot tub,tied off saltwater swimming(next to the pool) with tiki huts to picnic under,washer & dryer units, and extra bathhouses & bathrooms.

Once booked I have a property manager on site that will help with any needs or questions you have during your stay. Iam also available during your whole stay for questions!

If your into certain sports or activities V.O has you covered also with a tennis court & basketball court. Along with the recreation building that has a library, pool tables,dart boards & ping pong and also WiFi!
***WiFi is ONLY located in the recreation hall or poolside***

PARKING- Each unit is only a one car driveway.
Additional vehicles may be parked in the overflow parking lot (5 minutes away from your home) for $5 a night. Parking for Boats and/or trailers Must be parked outside of park -Accommodations of places will be giving after reservation.


Depending on the time of year the Pavilion has all different activities also from Pancake Breakfast,Church,Movies,Musicals,Swimming,Yoga,Line dancing etc!

Cudjoe Key is 20 miles from Key west. It is in between Sugarloaf Key and Summerland Key and not far from Big Pine Key or Marathon. All year long there are different events, holidays,festivals,fishing tournaments, lobster season,boat races,fantasy fest etc.

The house has mostly everything you need,except one thing... that’s you!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay, the location of Venture Out is great for trips to Key West, Marathon or even Islamorada. Shawna was a great host and we had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. The kitchen was fully stocked and we went to the local fish markets to grab some yummy seafood to grill!

Great location and amenities

This was a great base to explore the keys. Close to Key West and not far from Keys further east. It was wonderful to have access to the pool and hot tub. Laundry is a couple of doors down. We really enjoyed this spot and would return!

This property is a well designed vacation place. They really did a good job with the space given, and it has everything you need. I was not concerned with the lack of wifi, because that should not be important when you are so close to all of the beauties of the Keys. I could not say more about the owner. Established communication immediately and responded quickly. I would stay again.

The location was great it was very clean. I does need wash cloths as there were none that we could find and the master bedroom needs a new mattress as that one has a large sink hole in the center and you keep rolling into it as you sleep. It could also use a few nightstands and maybe not be against the wall as it was difficult to get in and out of if the other person was sleeping. It was a cute property and served the purpose for us.

Laid back comfort

Thank you Shawna, we had a wonderful time in your adorable piece of paradise! Venture Out resort is fantastic, amenities are top notch but super comfortable and convenient. Take your bikes or rent a golf cart to get around. Local restaurants are so good. The rental unit is all you need for a super laid back vacation. Location is super safe and we felt really comfortable . Owner is amazingly responsive to even the smallest issue. Clean and tidy with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Would highly recommend!!

Clean, comfortable and practical, will stay again.

We really enjoyed out stay at Venture Out. It is very convenient for boaters and has a nice boat ramp and room to tie your boat while you prepare for your day on the water. Ms. Shawna Laczynski was a great renter and was quick to respond when we had a question about how something worked. The property was clean and in good condition. It was very comfortable and practical and we will probably stay there again in the future. The only problems was the rough seas and poor visibility when diving but unfortunately Shawna could do nothing to help with that. Great trip, I highly recommend it.

We liked very much the South Floridan Key athmosphere of this safe and clean , very well organized and guarded neighborhood. Coming from Europe, we enjoyed breakfasting and dining outdoors under the palm tree in front of Shawna‘s home and enjoying life. . Used popl and library ( for WIFI connection). Key West easy to reach, we found in Cudjoe at Shawna‘s what we were looking for: a nice place to relax and get distance from day-to-day. It was great. Good and fast communication with owner. Thank you, Shawna. Best!

Small but cute, needs updated furniture

Cute place, small but decorated and useful. The “master” bed needs a frame and there’s little to no storage for clothing. More kitchen items such as bowls (there are 3) and some updates along those lines. We have stayed at VO multiple times, very disappointing the pool was closed most of our stay. Overall it fit the bill, the keys are paradise after all. Host was very communicative and pleasant to work with.

Just okay

We really enjoyed our stay at venture out and did not spend a ton of time in the house. The main bedroom was comfortable but I wouldn’t want anyone to sleep in the back bedroom. Make sure you bring toilet paper and hand soap and extra garbage bags. And don’t leave anything valuable in the house, the door doesn’t lock.

Less than expected.

Property was fair condition. It is a trailer with 1 key for the slider, we entered.it was opena nd key on the table(key did not work) and no key for backdoor. We kept our items in the car when we left the location. 3rd sleep space had no air flow, nor privacy as it was right off kitchen and the only accessway to bathroom. Outdoor space was old worn chairs. That said it served the purpose for our 4 days. Great location and pool area was great.

Morris Family Vacation

We absolutely loved Our stay at Shawna’s family’s house. The amenities that she and the park provided are excellent. The pool was awesome and its open late. The activities they have at the park are very cool. The hot tub was hot and relaxing. The general store on the property is so convenient. You can drop your boat right in the water in the park. The place is gated, private, and has 24 hour security so none of your stuff will get stolen. And the location is awesome. 35 minutes to Duval street. We had an absolute perfect stay. There was plenty of room for my family we were all comfortable. The a/c blasts in the house. We cooked our meals and were able save money that way. (everybody knows eating out every meal on vacation can get expensive). And another thing, Shawna is always available if you have ANY issues. If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable, safe, clean place to stay look no farther.

Needs better beds

This little place is okay for the money. However the beds were SO uncomfortable. The full bed we slept on the first night and woke up miserable the next day. The next day we thought we’ll give it another go and woke up even worse. We ended up taking the hide away bed mattress out the couch and put it on the floor which was better then the mattress. You can feel every spring in the back bedroom mattress. I could care less about the size or arrangement of a rental but when it comes to sleeping I definitely would have liked a comfortable mattress so the whole vacation wasn’t miserable. We were so exhausted from tossing and turning our vacation ended up being not as relaxing as we would have liked.

Disappointing

The community that the trailer is in was well maintained and felt safe. The trailer itself was a let down. There was a literal hole in the back bedroom. This room is so small that the door will not completely open. The twin bed in the hall is not normal length. Only a child could fit in the bed. In the pictures the front room looks bright and airy. Dark, heavy drapes are now on the windows. I understand the purpose of the drapes, but the room was not as pictured. The shower is very short- it is a trailer bathroom though. We were there during a tropical storm and the front room and the window by the small hallway bed let water in.

Tiny property!

I must say we enjoyed our stay! The resort was very beautiful. and I loved riding bikes around the community. When we first entered the cottage i was very surprised at how small it was but we made it work. We planned a pool day on Saturday but couldn't due to someone pooping in it, so that was a disappointment. I also liked that Cudjoe Keys is so close to Duval St! But one thing I would suggest is buy new bedding and pillows! everything was super old and the cleaning ppl missed picking up someone's press-on nails that was on the bathroom sink by the hand soup. There was also a young security guard that circled around the community and felt the need to ask my two daughters if they were sitting on someone else property?? which was super upsetting and came back later asking if the bikes had lights because if not we cant ride them around. It isn't the owner at fault but just watch out for this. Other then that.. I loved the property!!

The Venture Out resort is GREAT.! The grandkids and I enjoyed our week there and definitely look forward to another stay! The home is cute but definitely could use some updating. Has aged since photos were taken.

Retro Keys Style

This cute little place was just what we needed for our Florida Keys getaway. We had lots of fun and enjoyed the property. We were a bit warm as the air units struggled to keep up with the Florida sun, but a trip to the pool cured that issue quickly. We did require a bit of help from the property manager and she was amazing! Can’t wait to visit again!

Comfy cottage by the sea

My husband and I went with four of our friends. The owner of the property communicated with us about everything we needed to know and always quickly answered our questions. All 6 of us were comfortable and we will definitely be going back we didn’t need to bring anything, she made sure we had everything we needed. Great host and beautiful property.

Pictures are deceiving

The pictures listed on VRBO were obviously taken by a professional real estate photographer because they make the cabin look much bigger than it really is. Yes, this place does sleep 6 but it is much tighter than it appears. The back bedroom is so small that there is only enough space for a bed, and the door to the room does not open fully. The layout is a bit weird too. From the kitchen, there is a little hallway with a twin bed. You have to walk through that hall and past the twin bed to get to the bathroom. On top of that, you have to walk through the bathroom to get to one of the bedrooms. Considering that the bathroom does not have a fan, you can imagine that either of the beds are not places you want to hang out if someone is showering or using the bathroom. Besides being small, the cabin is run down. There are several places with obvious water damage, and the electrical outlets are bulging out of the walls. In the other bedroom, a big orange extension cord is piled up in one corner; that cord is used to run the AC in the room. That made it feel a little unsafe, so be sure to check the smoke detectors. (They were dead when we arrived.) Lastly, there are no end tables or coffee tables or ottomans in any of the rooms. At the end of the day, when you want to relax, there is no place to put up your feet or to put your drink down. On the upside, the cabin is well decorated. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you need to prepare a meal. The propane grill was a nice addition. There were plenty of towels for showering. We used the laundry facilities while we were there, as well as the campground showers, pool, and hot tub, and those were all great. The owner has two bikes onsite for guests to use; however, one is out of service. It needs a new inner tube. We did call the property manager to bring batteries for the smoke detectors and also to fix a slow draining bathroom sink and shower. The property manager was very nice. She responded quickly and had someone come right over to fix the plumbing issues.
