This waterfront home has its very own private dock on deep water with a covered pier head and float: park your boat, fish or drop a crab pot for dinner. Shrimp Boat passes about 3:30 PM during season letting you know it’s time to get your shrimp and prepare for the gorgeous sunsets from the dock.

Conveniently located only 20 minutes to Parris Island (12.3 miles), 15 minutes to Hunting Island State Park beach (11.8 miles), and 15 minutes to Historic Downtown Beaufort (8.6 miles).
Area restaurants and bars include Seaside Bar and Grill, just down the road, The Shrimp Shack for famous local Shrimp Burgers, Johnson Creek Tavern on Harbor Island and the Foolish Frog in downtown Frogmore!

Family Vacation
What a wonderful week we had. The house is so beautiful with all updates that have been made. This is our 5th time staying here. Fishing was great even with the winds that we had for 2 days from the hurricane in Florida. One great feature of this home is the handiicap accessiblity. Mawmaw is 94 yrs old and the homes layout makes it easier for a wheelchair and walker. We are looking forward to coming back again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Guys Fishing Weekend
The house was amazing and just what we were looking for. We had 2 boats and used the dock to be able to fish the area all weekend. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful river house for family
Our group enjoyed every moment in this house. We played on the dock, fished, kayaked around the river, and it was short drives to Beaufort and hunting island beach. The kitchen was incredibly spacious and well stocked, and the two living rooms made it easy for my large family to spend quality time together in comfort. The dock has power and water which made playing outside so much fun. Highly recommend!

Family thanksgiving getaway
This is our fourth time staying here. We loved the changes made by the new owner. Kitchen is much more convenient withe the islands and being a woodcarver really appreciated the artwork throughout the home. Really made for a nice week.

Deep Water VRBO in Beaufort
Imagine staying at a VRBO that includes everything you could possibly need to experience an awesome vacation with your children and grandchildren. This deep water, spacious (3000 + sq ft) VRBO property provides that and more. The kitchen is fully equipped, if you choose to feed a large group as I did. The huge covered dock AND floating dock provide plenty of room for everyone to fish, crab, or cast a shrimp net. It's the perfect place to dock your boat for a quick access to go on a boat ride. With a public beach just minutes away, you sure to have fun times on the surf side as well. Best of all, are the most beautiful sunsets over the marsh and waterways you'll ever experience!

Love sitting on dock and watching the dolphins swim by. House is in a great location, close to beach and not far from Beaufort. Owners got back with you if you had a question. Great time

Great location but not up to expected standards. Furnishings vintage 1960, with clothes and refrigerator contents left by owner. House smelled musty and wife had to get air freshener. No TV in master bedroom. Could not find wash cloths, and towels were left overs from owners travels. Now understand why fees were non refundable - would have checked out early.

Fun Location
We stayed at this property with family members who came to celebrate the graduation of our son from Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island. The house offered enough room for our different family members to spread out and not suffocate each other!! The fenced back yard was great for our dog, and the dock was fun for every one. We even saw the resident dolphin a couple of times! Communication with the owner was quick, and the house had most of the extras we needed (pans, pots etc). We would definitely stay here again.

Great quiet week away!!!
We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space, huge kitchen and dining room for the six of us. Quiet neighborhood with a spectacular view of the water! My favorite spot was the dock. We caught fish and shrimp and were visited by the dolphins most days. Hope to return soon!

Our 4th time taking our boat to the beach. By far the best experience we’ve ever had . The house, the dock and the community boat ramp were all terrific and exactly as advertised on vrbo.

This listing was wonderful. The dock in the back yard was our favorite. Watched dolphin come by in the mornings and watched them go by in the evening. Fishing off the dock was great. Quick trip to the beach for beach day. Very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely come back.

My family spent the week here and it was great! The home is large so there was plenty of space for us to have privacy. The dock on the water was perfect for our boat and not too low at low tide. We would stay here again!

My wife and I absolutely loved it. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved fishing from the dock and seeing the dolphins who made an appearance everyday. Truly a lovely place.

Low Country Family Retreat
We had a fabulous time at this home. It was very comfortable, and the view is amazing! We were able to launch our kayaks from the dock and that was the highlight of our trip! We kayaked each day with a pod of porpoises. Unbelievable! The kitchen was well equipped and there are many wonderful restaurants nearby. We particularly enjoyed Dockside and the Foolish Frog. We hope to come back to the low country soon and would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
