Weekend trip

The only problem we had was that the cleanliness was disappointing when it came to the bath tubs and hot tub, the bathtubs had mold in the jets and we all had to be treated at the er for HotTub Folliculitis and I didn’t even know that was a thing until now so we ended what was suppose to be a great vacation at the hospital with itchy, burning rashes. Other than that we did enjoy the cabin. Beautiful view

Great stay!

The cabin was perfect! The views were amazing annd the upstairs loft worked out great. Many memories made there! Wish the hot tub would have been on and at a decent temperature so we could have used it right way.

Gorgeous home, view amazing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amenities were top notch & beds were the best. As a group of 70+ year olds we found the steps to the second floor daunting on some days. We will have to be more careful with our cabin selection the next time! Would recommend this home highly to the right audience!

Absolutely beautiful, already planning our next stay there.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is stunning! We loved staying here. Everything is clean and maintained very well. The view is impeccable and the staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The only negative i can think of is that the upstairs is a lot hotter than downstairs and the thermostat is locked so you cannot make it cooler. Once you get to the top 3 steps you can very much feel the temp change. We got by using the ceiling fan and provided box fans in each room but it was definitely hotter. Other than that the property was phenomenal and we would 100% stay there again.

It was exactly what we wanted!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for three adult couples. Everyone had their own space. The rooms were huge, the living areas were large. The kitchen had everything we needed and more for utensils, pots, pans, etc. The coffee maker is a bit slow, it may be on its last legs. The only thing we were lacking were spa towels. If you plan on using the hot tub and like to wrap up after, bring some. There is a great Food City within 15 minutes that is easier and less hectic to get to. The views did not get old. The sunrise was excellent! We didn’t want to be in high traffic areas, we wanted quiet, and we got it. The only issue we had was we assumed someone would be by to get the garbage midweek and that didn’t happen. I didn’t request either so that is on me. We easily parked one large suv and a jeep, you could get another vehicle. The road coming up to the mountain is an adventure good brakes nd tires are a must.

Great View

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It started off horrible since there was a wildfire below where we were to stay. The state rep guy wasn't going to let us go in the area due to fire trucks needed in. We had driven 12 hrs and my daughter/grandkids weren’t allowed in later! Plus, my husband was a cancer patient. The turned them away and told them to get a Thanksgiving! They had been on the road for over 14 hrs. I know this wasn’t Elk Resort’s fault, but they weren’t aware of anything! I had to keep the posted for hrs. It seems like they should know this info since they have cabins and guests in the area! Plus, after we got there, there bugs in the bed upstairs! My daughter kept vacuuming and changing the bedding! The second night they were waken by something in the floor scratching and running back to the two rooms! The cabin was beautiful and view, but a nightmare where it was! Scary roads! The third night it rained all day , but had warnings to stay off roads since winds were 80 mph. You definitely didn’t want on that road up there! The first two days an alarm kept going off on patio doors if opened! Kept calling about that issue since you couldn’t open them due to it! My daughter finally figured it out and told the resort people about all the issues we had and how to turn off the alarm on patio doors! Plus, with 7 people there was one towel per person and barely any was cloths! This was very insufficient since you had kids and a hot tub! We stay with Elk Resorts years ago and was pleased! So many issues this time which is sad since such a beautiful cabin! We loved the cabin .. just not all the issues and them not having the information! I know they didn’t own this one, but they were managing it.

A Noise to Remember

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only negative thing that I can say is there was a loud, continuous buzzing sound that could be heard to the main bedroom. I didn’t sleep well for three nights. On Saturday, I contacted the resort. Someone was scheduled to come out at 730 and then they changed it to 10. I said forget it because it was bed time, and I suffered through the noise another night. A refund of some percentage should be given to me.

Cabin was beautiful

Truly, a view to remember!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is beautiful and the view is amazing! Everything is exactly as described and the large living spaces (kitchen, dining and living room) are great for multiple families. The property was clean and well maintained but there was not a scheduled trash pick-up during our 7-day visit. I did not call and report the need, so it is very possible that someone would have come out to pick up the trash by request. The location is great, about 30 min to Gatlinburg and PF. This is our second time at this property and I would recommend this property to friends and relatives - we will be going back!

My family stayed for a week, we had a little hiccup the first day but repairs were made promptly along with management being accommodating. Great location, would definitely come back!
