Huset er charmerende og nyrenoveret. En hacienda-stil fra 1920 med hårdttrægulve, Jerusalemsten, spanske fliser og renoveret. Alle apparater og interiører er helt nye.

Huset ligger i en stille gade og er meget hyggelig med en dejlig pejs, fikentræ og italiensk gårdhave med grill og stort udendørs bord, chaiselong og stole til underholdning.

Der er et komplet køkken med bordplader af granit, komfur og spisebord, vaskemaskine og tørretumbler og et komplet badeværelse.

Huset og soveværelserne er smukt møbleret. Huset er komplet med bøger, dvd'er og sportsudstyr. Huset er komplet med sengetøj, håndklæder og alle køkkenkoler.

Dette ville være godt for et par, enkelt eller lille familie, der er på ferie eller overgår til Santa Barbara.

Great yard, house and location!

Our group was a few friends all UCSB alumni and their partners in town for a wedding. The house was great, located in a quieter neighborhood but just a short Lyft ride to downtown or to the beach. We loved the backyard, complete with a big dining table for outdoor dining. The set up of the house was perfect for 5 adults to both have their privacy but also enough communal space for us to all hang out together in the living room or kitchen. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and appreciated the quiet and privacy of the master bedroom while my friends hung out in the living room. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect Wedding Weekend!

I absolutely adored this property! There was six of us (three couples) and we all fit comfortably. We were in SB for my wedding and the house was perfect for all of our pictures. We even received a sweet congratulatory note with a bottle of wine and flowers once we arrived. The host was responsive and the property was immaculate. The location was great too! I would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back for an anniversary stay!

Charming little house in ideal location.

My husband, toddler and I stayed here for nearly a week and had a great time. The location is amazing. The neighborhood is very quiet/safe and a 15 min bike ride to downtown, marina, beach, etc, zoo, botanical gardens, and pretty much anything else you'd want to do in SB. The backyard is amazing for kids- completely enclosed. The host is super responsive and attentive. Had no issues. Highly recommended!

Charming, artfully decorated and comfortable.

As a past resident of Santa Barbara, our stay in Westside cottage gave us the feeling of being home again. The cottage captures the ambiance of Santa Barbara. After reading some of the questionable reviews, I was a little nervous, but, the house was clean, communication and check-in was easy. We loved our stay. I don't know what those people were talking about. The kitchen was clearly stocked by a cook. We found everything we needed. The living room was charming and comfortable. The house was light. Our visit was over the holidays, so we didn't use the backyard, but I enjoyed waking up in the morning and seeing the yard through the French doors in my bedroom. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely stay in Santa Barbara

The bungalow was perfect for a long weekend stay for 2 couples. We met my daughter and her husband here for 4 nights. The house accommodated all of us very comfortably, especially with the 2 BRs at different ends of the house. The weather was perfect so we took advantage of the beautiful patio as well as the grill. The location is great—quiet neighborhood and close to the beach. Great for walking too! The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. We had a wonderful time!!

Over priced dirty house

I over paid for this rental. Felt ripped off by owner. House was dirty/old. Had sewage smell coming from dishwasher/garbage disposal. Shower was clogged. Would like over half my money back for this gross rental.

Spacious property in a nice neighbourhood

We had a great time staying in this fully equipped and spacious house. The owner Rachel was very pleasant to communicate with, too. We can highly recommend this place!

A beautiful little house in beautiful Santa Barbara

Everything went perfectly and this house was very good for three couples travelling together. Nice garden with outside patio with table and chairs for breakfast and dinner. 1 or 2 miles away from downtown.

We would love to come again!

Stayed here at the end of July 2019 for a 3-sister getaway. We all live in areas of California that are VERY hot in the summer, and the Santa Barbara weather was perfect! It was so amazing to open the windows at night and feel those cool breezes coming through. The house, despite a few minor glitches, was very nice and comfortable. The owner has remodeled most of the house, with a very nice kitchen and two bathrooms. House interiors are painted in lovely colors, and there is quite a bit of interesting art hanging throughout the house. Linens were plentiful, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes, and even a lot of kid-friendly dinnerware! The location of the house is centrally situated, and all the Santa Barbara "highlights" are easy to get to! We shopped at Lazy Acres market, which had an amazing selection of prepared foods, as well as the types of groceries you would find in a Whole Foods market. It is very close to the house (took less than 5 minutes to drive there). The owner was super responsive on the couple of issues we had with opening windows, and communicating with us about how to access the house. The only thing I would mention is that the patio furniture in the back of the house is very weathered and could use some re-finishing. I am sure it took a beating in last winter's rains! But overall the front and back yards were lovely and peaceful, with a lot of pretty plants growing about. So overall we were very happy with our stay in this cute house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely plan to book the house again if our travels take us back to Santa Barbara!

Santa Barbara Classic

We loved this house! The yard and garden are beautiful, filled with succulents and flowering trees. The back courtyard patio is lovely for breakfast and dinner. Inside is filled with great art and interesting vintage trinkets. We stayed with four kids aged 9-17 and didn’t feel cramped. The location is great too, close to shopping and the beach.

Lovely home in a well-located neighborhood.

This home is spacious and comfortable. Main attractions of SB are a very short drive away (I walked to State St. shops one afternoon, which took about half an hour). Kitchen is well-stocked. The only difficulty I ran into was the lock box, which I couldn't open at first. My millenial daughters assisted me. Rachel was attentive to phone calls and texts as well. I might also suggest that the house 'rules' seem more geared toward long-term rentals, but we were able to adjust to all expectations easily.

Charming Home

The check in process was easy. The beds were extremely comfortable. Backyard was clean and well maintained. Very close to the trails so my husband could go running. He also enjoyed the selection of Shakespeare plays! Quiet neighborhood. Place is exactly as described in the listing! Rachelle was very responsive to emails which was greatly appreciated.

Nice little bungalow

Nice place for a short stay, owner easy to communicate with and kitchen is well stocked. House is a lot smaller and bedroom furniture older than it looked in the photos. Could use a love seat / more comfy chairs in living room and to get cable (not Apple TV which doesn’t allow for live programming). Overall, we had a pleasant stay for UCSB graduation (15 minutes away) and it’s conveniently located near the harbor and downtown (10 minutes), but nothing within walking distance. Avoid going in “June gloom” as we had fog and no sun all 5 days (heat lamp in backyard would be a great addition).

Wouldn't recommend to friends

I do not fully understand the previous comments, because our experience was unlike any of theirs. This house is in a good location- although, Santa Barbara is small, so I'm assuming all homes are in a good location. It was also a fairly well stocked kitchen, which is always nice. But unfortunately, those were about the only pros on our list. The biggest con was the cleanliness of the house. When we arrived, there were ants all over the kitchen. We killed them all, but they kept reappearing. We even saw them in our bedrooms and on our seemingly dirty sheets. The floors also felt very gross, like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The shower pressure in the main area was almost nonexistent, which made it difficult to shower. Also, they do not have TV in this house (other than apple), which I feel should be stated. Obviously, on vacation you don't watch a ton of TV, but it's nice to have for the occasional show or sports game. The last negative was the patio furniture. It looks beautiful in the pictures but was very run down. The state it was in doesn't bother me, but the level of comfort was very poor. The chairs need cushions to make them tolerable, so we barely used the patio furniture. Maybe this house used to be lovely, but it is not in great condition right now. I would absolutely never stay here again, nor would I recommend this house to anyone. I have stayed in roughly 50 vrbo's and this is the only one I haven't enjoyed, so I am not a particularly picky person. But I do like to feel comfortable and clean when staying in someone's home.

Sweet California Bungalow

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The house was lovely and was well stocked. We enjoyed or stay very much - and thank you for the quick and thoughtful response to the one (minor) problem we had. It was much appreciated! The house is in a great neighborhood, and the beds are super comfortable. The kitchen has every dish and appliance you could need, and there are tons of books and games to use, as well as a huge library of DVDs. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house with a perfect location

We had the most amazing time during our stay! The house is close to all the activities and sights, yet in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. We loved the board games and sitting in the garden with our morning coffee. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Plenty of space, great beds, fully equipped kitchen, nice quiet neighborhood.

The house was very nice, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped. While we loved the rain shower head in the shower stall, we found the stone flooring in the shower stall too hard on our feet. We picked up a cushioned shower mat and that made it possible for us to continue to use that shower. Everything else was good, the beds were very comfortable, the neighborhood was very quiet.

I fell in love with the house on my first visit. The neighborhood is unbelievably safe, charming and quiet but the proximity to the beaches, town center and wine country sealed the deal.

When I bought the property I updated all electrical, plumbing and remodeled and modernized all interiors, appliances and fixtures. It is a lovely home with a period feeling and modernized comforts.
