Location, Location, Location!. This cozy, well appointed, 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment is located just off Main Street in beautiful downtown Red River. A comfortable cabin feel unit with full kitchen. The unit is less than a half block walk to the new Red River Ski Area Platinum Chair. Many dining establishments are within a half block walk. Walking distance to shopping, art galleries or the fishing ponds! Watch the torch light parade and fireworks from your balcony. Whether watching the local wildlife in the summer or the skiers coming down "The Face" in the winter, you are in the middle of everything, with the added bonus of being in your own little hideaway!

You can walk to Red River Ski area, drive 45 minutes to either Angel Fire Ski Area or Legendary Taos Ski Area.

You are a 45 minute drive away from Taos NM where you can visit the Rio Grande Gorge, wonderful art galleries and fabulous restaurants. Ojo Caliente, natural mineral springs. are about an hour and 15 minutes away. And Abiqui, NM, where Georgia o'Keefe painted is only about an hour and half away. Funky Art Colony Arroyo Seco is a beautiful 30 minute drive, with wonderful shopping and dining.

A great place to stay in Red River

The property is so close to the ski resort! It was perfect for us for our Spring Break ski vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Great management people and location! Very clean and as advertised. It’s a property for 4 but there were only seats for two in the living area with the TV, so that would be my only comment for improvement.

Very convenient to attractions

Close to River and fishing ponds. No luck this time on fish but grandsons had a great time trying. The ladies that work in the store below are very helpful and friendly. Has a nice gas stove for cooking. Grocery store is close and you will need to bring or buy spices. Good place for small group.Host is great.

This was an upstairs unit 3rd of 4. It was super clean, comfortable beds, adequate kitchen needs. It’s situated mid main street area. We had a 4 day stay and moved our car twice. Everything very walkable. We will stay again.

Walk to Everything. Ski lift, restaurants, bars, coffee.

Can’t wait to come again to this perfect ski lodging. My 22 y/o son and I spent 3 nights. Less than 5 minute walk to the Platinum ski lift. Ski rental downstairs at Wild Bill’s. Everyone is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. Shotgun Willies is next door for breakfast. Capo’s Italian restaurant is right out back. Everything on Main Street is easy access walking distance. Texas Reds, Bull O the Woods, Mother Lode, Dairy Bar. Coffee shops, breweries, gift stores, grocery store. Everything was perfect. K and staff at Wild Bill’s make sure everything is perfect. Nice towels, linens, dishes, appliances.

My goal was to book something that wasn't fancy but clean and this property met my requirements. This was a budget friendly trip. The management was great. The little book they left in the room was great for activities that we were aware of from previous visits.

Great weekend escape!

We skied for three days, once we got our passes we were able to walk right up to the ski lift. (the main lodge is where you get your tickets and is a bit longer of a walk but still doable) All the shops and restaurants are a quick walk, it was a great location. Owners were great checking in and out was easy. The place was big enough for three kids and two adults no problem, clean, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Super charming ski area and town. Plan your stay over a Saturday and see the torchlight parade and fireworks!

K and the staff were easily accessible. The slope was a 5 minute walk, ski rental at Wild Bills downstairs. Property very clean and we had an excellent time!

A very close option to the slopes

This fit perfectly for me and my two adult sons. Now that we remember how to ski, we’ll just walk over to the lift just a block or so away but the free parking down the street worked too. The floors were nice and gas stove and oven worked to warm up dinner. Host was quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay for an early ski trip.

Lady minute Summer getaway

The ad made be believe the apartment was on the lower floor, it was not. I have a knee replacement and it was very hard to get around the stairs. Parking was not ready to get in and out due to surrounding businesses and employee parking. There was no chairs for outside sitting. The inside of the apartment was super clean. The previous renters didn't hail their yeah so the can was full. There were more enough chairs for to sit at the table. I was told I'd get my credit card and licensed paper copies destroyed when I checked out, I didn't. I'm a victim of identity theft so I'm very concerned. I wouldn't stay there again simply die to health reasons with a bad knee.

Perfect location!

My friend and I stayed for a crafting retreat. It was the perfect location as we walk to the conference center & downtown. Other reviews mentioned the go carts. The place does close at 8pm and they didn’t run all the time. We also found the portable air conditioner blocked the sound. We were happy for the ceiling fans to bring air into the bedrooms. As a city dweller, I would have liked the comfort of a chain or some other additional lock once inside.
