Lovely Chalet

This is a lovely place with a great view and a perfect location, close enough to the center of town to walk easily, but far enough away for privacy. Communication with owner was excellent, the chalet was very clean with many thoughtful amenities. Close to hiking trails. I would absolutely stay there again, it's highly recommended.

Warm and cozy chalet

This chalet is spacious and very cozy. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable, the water pressure in the shower is great, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the living room, where we could open up the map and discuss possible hikes for the week. And the location is awesome - very close to Pfingstegg lift and a short walk to the First lift.

Wonderful vacation at Chalet Friedli

Chalet Friedli is very cosy, has everything you need for a very pleasant staying. Very good and fully equipped kitchen, good bed rooms and the bath room, the terrace with the tremendous view on the Eiger, good hiking trails you can start from the chalet. We had a very good vacation.

Wonderful chalet in an excellent location

We stayed for two weeks and loved the cozy chalet. It was well equipped and perfectly located to walk to the downtown, the lifts, and the train. The hosts were a pleasure to work with. If going to Grindelwald, stay here!

Perfect stay

An ideal location for access to everything. It felt private yet just a short walk into town. Great patio area and garden. Lovely and warm to come back to after a day out. Our dogs enjoyed it too!

Wir kommen wieder!

Prima Ferienwohnung, sauber, alles da was man braucht, sogar Grundausstattung in der Küche ( einige Kaffeekapseln, etwas Salz, Öl, Gewürze etc.). Unkomplizierter Kontakt zu Vermietern. Heizungen wurden nach unseren Wünschen passend eingestellt. Betten bequem. Bad neu. Bushaltestelle und Müllentsorgungsmöglichkeit um die Ecke. Wir waren rundum zufrieden 😀.

The perfect stay

We stayed at Beat and Esther's chalet for a family ski holiday, and it was perfect for us. They were so accommodating and helpful, giving us good tips about the slopes and local area. We'd love to return one day!

Jaw dropping views

The views from the garden and terrace are truely incredible. Could have spent the whole week watching climbers summiting the Eiger at dawn and the paragliders sweep over the majestic Grindlewald glacier. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. It is only a few 100 metres from the centre of Grindlewald yet still felt tucked away from the hubbub of the town. Excellent walks for all abilities using the free local bus or the quite costly Grindlewald bus (recommend getting the 3 day pass).

Excellent apartment in stunning location

High standard alpine-style modernised chalet apartment. Quiet location right in front of the north face of the Eiger and easy reach all village facilities and all transport. We would love to come back!

Fantastisk utsikt

Läget och utsikten var enastående, mycket bättre än vi förväntat oss. Vi njöt av att kunna vara i trädgården och på balkongen och att både barn och hund kunde springa runt fritt. Boendet var bra. Fräscht badrum och kök. Dock svårstädat i de rum som hade heltäckningsmatta. Vi hade önskat bättre möjligheter till att hänga upp kläder i en garderob. Den totala upplevelsen var ändå enastående!

The View

Very cosy chalet,plenty of room for the two of us,very well equipped kitchen for preparing meals,communication with the host was very easy and reply’s were quick and helpful,the outdoor balcony and garden were perfect for relaxing after a busy day travelling around the mountains and the views were just spectacular,would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a rental in Grindlewald👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great week in Grindelwald

Apartment was great for us - short walk up the hill to the town for the telecabines and the night festivals, which were very enjoyable (especially the weekly Wednesday night one). Lovely view of the glacier and the mountains from the balcony and the garden. Apartment is quite small but perfectly formed and very well equipped, bathroom is especially nice and recently redone. Parking is easy, we didn't try the garage. Apartment was great value for money.

Superb stay!

We’ve stayed in this region 3 times now and, out of all of the places that we’ve rented, this is our favourite. Well-equipped, stunning view, really close to everything that you’d want to see, and - above all - excellent communication and help from the owner. Would love to return.

Tolle Wohnung mit wunderschönem Garten.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und insbesondere den tollen Garten genossen. Auch für uns 4 Erwachsene mit 2 kleinen Kindern plus Hund war die Unterkunft nicht zu klein. Tolle Lage. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Grindelwaldwoche Ende August 2020

Traditionelles Chalet mit hervorragendem Blick auf den unteren Grindelwaldgletscher (beim Frühstück aus dem Küchenfenster) und die Eigerostwand. Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr zentral zum Ortskern. Wir nutzten das Auto nur an einem Tag für eine Fahrt nach Lauterbrunnen mit dem sehenswerten, total ebenen Trogtal. Wir verbrachten im Chalet Friedli erlebnisreiche Ferientage. Wermutstropfen: stark befahrene, laute Straße mit Steigung am Haus, flackernde Deckenleuchte im Kinderzimmer sowie abgenutzte Badewanneneinlage und ungepflegtes Toilettenbecken.

Prachtig uitzicht

Fantastische ligging met uitzicht op de Eiger en aan rand van het dorp. Vanuit het volledig ingerichte huis met heerlijke tuin kan direct een wandeling of lift gestart worden.
