Downtown Flagstaff Bungalow - 5 minute walk to downtown

This historic remodeled home is located within walking distance to dozens of restaurants and bars as well as retail shopping. There are two bedrooms,(queen sofa sleeper in living room) one bathroom, a laundry room, and a full kitchen. The counters are granite with solid maple cabinets. The front yard is fenced with a cute custom fence that resembles a flowing river, with a table and chairs for taking in the essence of the town. The backyard has a six foot cedar fence that creates a lot of privacy for the landscaped yard. A large hot tub sits in the corner and there is a large paver area in the back and a small patch of grass. The house was built in 1915 as part of the original town site.

Perfect base camp for our family of four

The house was very clean, had the amenities we needed, walkable to restaurants, and was relaxing to come back to in the evenings after national park and Sedona visits.

Ideal location

This is the 3rd year in a row we’ve stayed here and plan on returning again. The location is ideal and the house is perfect for our family. Mandi is quick to respond and the house is equipped with everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here.

Our sixth year spending a week at this house

Had another amazing stay at this charming and cozy house! The location is perfect, and we loved spending time with our dogs in the big yard and relaxing in the hot tub. The only thing missing was the snow until our last day!! but everything else was just as great as always. The hosts are wonderful and make sure everything is just right. Can’t wait to come back again!

Cozy convenient getaway!

Staying at this cozy cabin was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to downtown shops, dinner & just a short drive up to Snowbowl for a weekend on the slopes. The house was super easy check-in and navigate. Pictures don’t do the space justice, the house was clean, cozy, and supplied with everything you may need. The hot tub was perfect after two days on the mountain. Thanks for this awesome stay!

Amazing!

Pictures do not do this place justice! The house is cozy and beautiful, clean, and the large fenced backyard was amazing. Location of property is perfect for walking to restaurants downtown, as well as nearby parks. We would absolutely stay here again.

Comfy place for a weekend

3 of us stayed in this small house for a weekend in Flagstaff. The place had everything we needed and was well kept. Close to breweries, restaurants, Oktoberfest, Farmers Market and Food Trucks, and even NAU. Pros: Location, parking, comfortable beds, soft towels and hot shower, comfortable furniture, nice backyard, appliances, charming, Cons: Hardwood floors in the main room were beat up. Singles beds are kind of short. I enjoyed the place, would stay here again, and recommend it!

Great again

My husband and I recently spent five days in Flagstaff at this VRBO property and it was another great stay. This was our third time renting the property, and it was as wonderful as always. I highly recommend it to anyone. The house itself is beautiful with a great kitchen should you want or need to cook. The location can't be beat either. We walked the 1.5 blocks to the Farmers' Market which was really fun.

Nice pet friendly cottage

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage and especially enjoyed the great private backyard. We were a bit disappointed about the hot tub not working as we were looking forward to some relaxing after our hikes.

Flagstaff Trip

Stayed 5 nights. Everything was clean, more space than I thought. Within walking distance to downtown and local hiking trails. Lowell observatory a 5 minutes drive. National monuments a short drive....it was everything we hoped for.

Relaxing cool getay

We had a great time. The place was just as described. Very clean, well appointed, and great location. We did not need a car, we walled to the square daily. Our dog enjoyed the time too. Morning coffee in the nice shaded front yard and amole room for our Lucy girl to roam the backyard.

Location, Comfort, and Recreation.

Excellent location. Very clean. Very roomy both indoor and out. We loved relaxing in the shady front yard with our dog for coffee and pastries in the morning. And when we wanted a bit more privacy we could sit out back. The Karen Cooper trail almost outside the front door was great for walking the dog and going for a trail run. The Thorpe Bark Park is just up the road to let the dog really stretch his legs and get some play time. We walked everywhere downtown. Definitely would stay again in any season.

Simply Wonderful

This is our second visit to this wonderful cottage. We most likely will stay again. Super convenient to all the hiking trails, and downtown spots. Our doggies loved it, so secure and cozy. The hot tub is wonderful and overall well appointed. Mandi was super with communications and assisting. Five stars or more if I could. Dan, Elaine, Dakota and Galloway.

This is the second time we have stayed at this location. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Though the property was not over-the-top fancy, it was comfortable and was perfect for our stay in Flagstaff. The roomy backyard was inviting. We were able to enjoy our meals outside with the family.

I was born and raised in flagstaff, I grew up in a house a mile from this location and attended Flagstaff High School. My wife and I lived in this home for 8 years and would still be in it if our family wasn't growing so fast.

Why they chose this property

Location! This house may be smaller than others, but the draw for us is that it is so close to all the excitement and charm of downtown. We have been so lucky to have lived in this home for as long as we did.

What makes this property unique

What I enjoy most about the house is the ability to sit and look out the giant picture window in the front of the house and watch people walking by, to see the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood and to be able to relax in the glow of the sun.
The backyard warms up early in the day and sometimes I would grab a cup of coffee and sit in the sun warming myself from both the inside and out.
Within minutes we are able to walk downtown and stroll through heritage square, doing some window shopping along the way, and then grab a bite to eat or listen to some music at one of the bars.
It's also so nice to not have to drive downtown, parking is always a hassle, and sometimes you can't park as close as our house to where your going, so for us it is great to just walk everywhere.
