Gorgeous wedding getaway for a very affordable price

We held our wedding ceremony here on June 26th 2017 and it couldn't have been any more perfect. This property is absolutely breathtaking! The owner was very kind and went above and beyond to help make our special day be a very memorable one. We fell in love with the area. The pool was a great bonus along with the hot tub. Being able to watch the stars at night while relaxing in the hot tub was one of my favorite things about lifewater. Our family enjoyed the pool in the heat of the day and then had fun in the evenings while playing by the ponds and catching some frogs. The owner also allowed us to ride around in the 160 acre property on our dirt bikes, feed the cows some alfalfa pellets and allowed us to use some wood from the property to build the arbor we used for our wedding. Overall we really enjoyed our stay while at lifewater.

Amazing property!

Private get-a-way. Large comfortable well appointed home with salt water pool and big hot tub set in a gorgeous wooded setting. We had a family reunion here and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Had pretty much everything we needed. The pool was a definite attraction, getting much use. Plenty of areas for different groups to congregate. Pool table, large screen TV with online access, trails to hike and lots of wildlife to see. Beautiful area. We'll be back and will recommend to others.

About the host

Host profile image
I am an ex-retired homeowner doing my best to keep this ranch by sharing it with others. I used to be a Microsoft Developer, made my fortune and came here for Y2K and to retire only to lose it to professional money managers. I have long had a vision to share this beautiful place with others and at the same time help support the many talented and interesting people that live in this area. I am also a chess coach and love to help kids learn how to think clearly.

Why they chose this property

Kooskia is in the Palouse valley and is known as the banana belt of the northwest. It is one of the best kept secrets for a quality lifestyle. My kids have left the house so now we have a large, empty place we want to share. This property has so much water on it and herbs and views and beauty, we just love it. You will experience the feeling of wilderness with the top notch comforts of a fancy home complete with AC and uninterruptable power.
Water is in our name because that is what we have with the highest quality and a lot of quantity.
