Grote luxe handgebouwde aangepaste woning gelegen op 6 hectare aan de oevers van Lake Michigamme. Grote woonruimtes zijn geschikt voor meerdere gezinnen. 20 slaapplaatsen! (Kleine extra kosten van toepassing op partijen meer dan 16 gasten) we verhuren ook het pand naast de deur vrbo # 1341493 (10 personen) perfect voor een reünie of voor een grote bijeenkomst !!! Gastronomische keuken, 3 open haarden, grote overdekte veranda, groot terras met uitzicht op water, bubbelbad, fitnessruimte, sauna, wifi. Hoofdniveau heeft een prachtige meester met uitzicht op het meer en een bad. Boven heeft 4 slaapkamers met jack en jill baden / douches. De uitzichten zijn adembenemend vanuit deze kamers !!! Kelder heeft nog 2 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, een grote mediaruimte, een fitnessruimte, een sauna en een 2e master en een stapelbedkamer. Het huis is allemaal gedaan met aangepaste verf / stenen behandelingen, houten muren, balken, ijzeren kroonluchters en aangepaste inrichting. Het is weelderig maar toch zeer comfortabel en leefbaar. Het huis ligt op een verbazingwekkende rotswand met uitzicht op het meer met misschien wel het beste uitzicht op het meer! Er is toegang via de weg naar het havengebied en een geleidelijk hellend wandelpad langs het meer voor gasten van alle leeftijden. Het dok ligt af van een groot stenen terras met een ingebouwde vuurplaats (voor het braden van hotdogs en smores!) evenals een grote zandbak voor kleintjes die graag willen spelen. Het dok is perfect om te zwemmen (meer dan 15 voet diep aan het einde) of vissen (we hebben baars, snoekbaarzen, crappie, bas en snoeken gevangen). Of u bent van harte welkom om onze oceaankajaks (niet te kantelen) te gebruiken om de wateren te verkennen. Neem een peddel mee naar een van de nabijgelegen eilanden voor een picknick! Zorg ervoor dat je op tijd terugkeert naar het huis voor de zonsondergang - want ze zijn ongeëvenaard! Het hele huis gloeit bijna elke nacht oranje als de zon direct ondergaat vanuit de grote ramen van vloer tot plafond met uitzicht op het meer! Ze zullen adembenemend zijn! Misschien is dit de reden waarom Albert Einstein, Henry Ford en Harvey Firestone dit meer ook vaak bezochten voor hun uitjes!
We verhuren ook woning # 1341493 naast de deur (10 personen) huur Beide voor grotere groepen / reünies! We kunnen een gereduceerd tarief aanbieden als beide achter elkaar worden verhuurd.

Stunning getaway!!!!

Beautiful location. This house is well stocked with amenities to cook and walk right in just like you live there. Sheets , Towels and blankets plenty for all. As a vrbo owner myself i was extremely impressed with this property.

Week in Michigan

Wonderful Property!

Our multi-generational family thoroughly enjoyed this fabulous property! There are incredible views of Lake Michigamme, kayaks for exploring the lake, deer occasionally visiting, and cold but beautiful lake swimming, along with a sauna to relax & warm up before and/or after the swim. The home is spacious enough for everyone to have privacy and gather for dinners together in huge living room & kitchen area and the host responds quickly to questions.

Amazing home for family vacation

This house was so perfect for our family of 7 adults, an 8 year old, and 5 month old! It had everything we needed and more! We loved the “poker room” and hooked out switch up to have game night, the sauna was incredible and inspiring me to build one in my basement, the kitchen was incredible and loved they had an extra kitchen in the basement! The owner was great to work and and quick to reply! Our family absolutely loved it here! Music on the Manitou on Wednesday night was a hit! Loved every single thing! Thank you!!

Family reunion 2022

Beautiful, spacious property. The new (since our last visit 3 years ago) railings and front steps were wonderful -- much easier for our geriatric family members. We never did get the living room TV to work, but we didn't really care since there were so many other things to do. A knife sharpener and meat thermometer would be nice additions to the kitchen, although they may have been there and I just didn't find them. Thanks so much for allowing us to rent --we definitely plan to come back!

Lake Michigamme Get Away

The property, house, amenities and location were perfect. If you are looking for seclusion and nature, this is the place to go. My family loved it. I did not know the hot tub and sauna would be such a hit with my family. It was a memorable and fantastic week.

Beautiful Up North Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Lake Michigamme cabin. Everything was as described. There was plenty of room for our party of 11 adults and 2 children and everyone had plenty of space. Although my father-in-law was not able to walk the path down to the dock, he was easily able to walk the "road" that takes you down to the same location just not along the side of the lake. Fishing was excellent off the dock with plenty of Rock Bass, smallmouth and a couple of Walleye. The kitchen was furnished with everything we needed and we were able to make large meals with ease. All members of our party are already asking when we are going back as they had such a good time.

Beautiful & Secluded

Beautiful property, spacious enough to fit a large family comfortably. Plenty of everyday items (ie: pots and pans and utensils), and a shared pantry that made it even better! Gorgeous scenery, and nicely tucked away. We LOVED this place! We hope to come back in the future!

Great Vacation Home

The house was large enough to hold 18-20 adults comfortably. Plenty of room for a larger family gathering. Well stocked kitchen. The host/owner Rebecca, was a great communicator and everything was as described. ( except for the hot tub that was advertised in the VRBO description wasn’t on the property). Overall a very nice place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Annual Family Gathering

Large facility off the beaten path with solitude

Facility is large and well equipped, many people can spread out here. Even though we liked the property, there were a few drawbacks. The road is gravel and four miles long, thus the solitude. The exterior needed some TLC, their were things lying around the yard and water front that were junky. The deck was cracked and weathered excessivley, the deck chair cushions were ratty looking and wet to sit on if it rained the previous day. The sharp kitchen knives were very dull and nothing to sharpen them on. There were several fireplaces and no convenient dry firewood and kindling, we were advised to use only one fire place. We purchased our own firewood at the Park and made our own kindling, with our own tools. The place was well supplied on other items, including games and reading material. We would consider staying here again, but are looking around.

Family and friends riding the trails

Beautiful property and plenty of room for the 12 of us. The lake was so nice to look at, unfortunately we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Some of the furniture could be updated. The hot tub was really big and a few of us jumped in one night after a long day. Kitchen was stocked well and plenty of games to play. A few of the guys enjoyed the basement media room to watch a few games on.

Family reunion

We very much enjoyed our reunion at your home on Lake Michigamme. Your home is large and beautiful. There were 18 adults and one infant. We never felt crowded. Everyone especially enjoyed the kayaks, lily pad and that marvelous hot tub. We also enjoyed the most perfect warm weather; most unusual for the UP in late August.

Lakefront oasis

My friends and I spend a weekend away every year and this beautiful cabin was the nicest place we've stayed so far. So many amenities with the lakefront, hot tub and sauna yet totally excluded and serene. Was the perfect escape for our group. Would highly recommend to others.

Say “ya to da UP eh!”

The house was beautiful and well equipped. We had so much room for our family to spread out and enjoy the house - especially on the rainy days. 2nd Stay in the Feely Lake House

Amazing property and location. Great getaway if you're looking to unwind and get away from the world for a week or so. The lake is beautiful, we brought our boat this trip and the ability to dock it right at the house is great! Rented jet skis as well. Fishing is hit and miss, first trip we caught walleye, pike, rock bass and croppie, enough to feed 24 people twice. Last trip was not as good, plenty of rock bass and croppie, only 1 walleye and 1 pike. Quite a few things to get out and look at, plan on at least a 45 minute drive to any of the destinations listed in the guest book. I would recommend this property to anyone and will most likely stay there again. Great job on hosting Mr. and Mrs. Feely, and amazing property.

Great family vacation

We stayed here for my parents' 50th anniversary. It was beautiful and more than enough room for the 17 of us, ranging in age from 7-70. The kids loved the deep water off the dock and loved playing on the swim mat. Adults appreciated that there was more than enough room for us all to spread out in the house. We would definitely stay here again.

UP Family Reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful lakefront home. There was plenty of room for all of our family members to finally spend time together. The adults and kids all enjoyed the "lilly pad" in the water, and we found the dock system perfect for our jet ski and boat. Sunsets were beautiful, especially while enjoying the hot tub!. Rebecca was an incredible host, quickly responding to our many questions. We have already made our plans for next summer to return to this incredible lakefront home on Lake Michigamme.

Peaceful vacation

The property is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend a table for the deck in order to enjoy outdoor eating. Also a new set of table and chairs for the beach area.

Snowmobile trip

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. It’s a great place for medium to large group. It’s about a 31/2-4 mike ride to get to the trail but not bad in February.

Although we don’t live far from this incredible property, we would’ve traveled much father to enjoy the perfection that is this house! The pictures don’t do it justice. Stayed at the property for our annual guys snowmobiling trip! Plenty of space and accommodations in kitchen to feed 9 guys. Reasonable distance to trails. Beautiful property. Property owner very easy to work with and responsive to responding to my questions prior and during our stay. Hope to go back next year!

We built this home as a vacation get-away for our family. We have found it hard as our kids get older to enjoy it as much as we would like. We feel like the right thing to do at this point is to share our amazing place with all of you.

My wife was raised 30 miles from here and we have always come to back to visit the area. We have lived all around the country and have never seen an area so beautiful and so pure as Michigamme. We chose to build here to give our children the joys of making memories in God's country!

Wat deze accommodatie uniek maakt

This location is remote, yet convenient, which is hard to find in a vacation rental. The air and water is so clean and fresh, soak in the peace and tranquility! You can spend the week at the house and be refreshed or take a day trip or 2 to amazing locations in either direction! There is so much to do and so much to see- you will want to come back for more- we promise!!!
