Right on the beach

It is an excellent location, right on a Sandy beach. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little bit tighter than what I expected from the pictures and the total number of guests allowed. I had planned to share the house with another friend & her son and I’m glad that it didn’t work out for them to join us because I think it would have been hard for us to feel like we had our own space or be able to have meals together. The table area was fairly cramped with 4 chairs. This would probably be easier in warm weather when you could utilize the nice deck & outdoor table. It was great for the three of us (kids 11 & 15) and the beach was perfect. I would recommend replacing the towels soon as well. They had a sour smell and felt fairly worn. I’m a bit picky though and often bring my own towels. Overall, I would recommend the house due to the location on the beach & on Whidbey itself

A gem

Wonderful location right on the beach. Great for kids who enjoy playing in the sand. Ours were 5, 4 and 1 yo plus 4 adults and a dog. Surprisingly roomy house for us all. Sea eagles, sea lions, herons, and other wildlife watching as well as the huge cruise liners and other shipping in the distance travel up Puget Sound. Gorgeous sunsets, sheltered bay, fire pit all made for enjoyable stay. Altogether a great house.

Beachfront beauty

The property was as advertised. Right on the beach. Beautiful views. It was just my wife and I, but the house could easily hold a large family. Watched the northern lights on the deck for hours . We will stay here again if back in the area.

Another Perfect Trip

Spectacular Getaway

Our family wanted the perfect beachfront vacation and we got it! The place was beautiful and everything we wanted. House had a great little front yard and the ocean front living was amazing. Walks along the beach and spectacular views! Highly recommend staying here. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. We hated to leave but can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Fantastic Stay

The house was clean, and very well supplied. There was nothing essential that wasn’t available to us. The only negative anyone had was the water pressure in the kitchen sink was low, but it wasn’t a big deal. I would stay again, and highly recommend this house and host.

Wonderful location

We (two families with a combined 4 kids under 5) had a great stay. The location was great and the view couldn’t be beat. The kids loved playing in the sand and watching the big ships go by. The sunsets were beautiful. We did not receive information about how to get into the property and realized it shortly before we were ready to check in. Dan responded very quickly with a phone call and checked in later on to make sure everything was going well.

Sandy Waterfront House

The location was wonderful, right on the water. But, we were not informed about the construction six feet away. There was a very loud air compressor, and pounding until nearly 9pm the first night. Also, for anyone who is sensitive to smells, the house smells very strongly like very flowery laundry soap or cleaner. My husband sneezed and sniffled everyday except when we left the house. We are not returning to this place.

Family get away!

Loved watching the marine traffic, from cruise ships to container boats and barges! The dog area in back of the house was perfect for our one small dog. It was out in the country on a dead-end lane - very quiet! We certainly would recommend this home to our family and friends.

A lovely home in a perfect location

Our family of 7 and dog Dobby have used VRBO homes for many years. Dan wins the prize as far as being a kind, helpful host who is easy to communicate with. The view from the house of the beach is incredible. And we were close to town and beautiful walking trails. It was the perfect place to stay.
