Pimento Oasis - The Palms in Richmond

Beautiful and spacious 3 bedroom home in a modern, eco-friendly, gated community in the Ocho Rios area. There is a gorgeous master bedroom that boasts a four post bed and a master bath. There are high arched ceilings and plantation shutters on every window. Home is fully equipped with all the amenities you can imagine. There is a full laundry area with washer equipment. Bedroom #1 has 2 twin beds beautiful chestnut brown furniture. Bedroom #2 has a queen sized bed with light colored furniture. Bedroom #3 is the master bedroom with the four post bed fit for any queen and king. The master bedroom has 2 closets with a full master bathroom with 2 sinks. There is a security chest for your valuables. Each bedroom including the living room have air conditioners with their own remote control as well as ceiling fans for those nights where you only need a bit of cool breeze. The home is surrounded by beautiful flowers and a well manicured back yard boasting bananas, june plum, grapefruit, lime, and a thriving herb garden. Across the street from the community to the property you have Chukka Cove where you can horseback ride, zip line, and even ride ATVs. The location of the home is approximately 10 minutes from Dunns River Falls, Dolphin Cove, and Mystic Mountain where you can include all the fun festivities the beautiful North Coast has to offer. Drive 5 more minutes into Ocho Rios town to enjoy Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville, Bay Beach, casinos, fast food restaurant as well as authentic Jamaican cuisine, and nightlife festivities, at Smokehouse Restaurant located about two blocks from the community.Tennis courts and basketball courts located directly behind the property.

Peaceful place

Loved this peaceful and secure house. Perfect place to spend a wonderful vacation. It really is a nice home and is well maintained. My family and I traveled to Jamaica and we got the opportunity to spend this nice vacation. We had a lot of fun and made long lasting memories which are priceless.

Home away from home

Pimento Oasis was spacious and comfortable. It had all the comforts of home while on vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and the open concept dining room and living room made it easy for our family to be together. The location is just a short drive to Ocho Rios and a number of beaches. Thanks Dorothy for letting us stay at your lovely villa for the 2nd time. It did not disappoint.

We booked our trip within three days of our stay at the property. To be able to do that was fantastic. We reviewed the pictures and the facilities turned out to be exactly what was shown in the pictures. The most significant things for us were: 1. The responsiveness of the managers of the facility. They guaranteed a quick response and you got that. Also the housekeeper Ms. Sonia Gaynor, was affable, courteous and very accommodating to us. A big thank you. 2. The pool area was not crowded and you can enjoy the facilities. 3. There was a mini play area, which serves the purpose especially if you are travelling with a child, as I was. 4. There is a great sense of safety and the residents in the neighbourhood are extremely pleasant. All in all I would return in a heartbeat and I would encourage persons to stay at the facility. Topp Unterkunft in wunderschönem Ambiente

Das Haus war in einem sehr guten Zustand, schön eingerichtet und -mit Ausnahme der Spülmaschine, die nicht funktionierte-gut ausgestattet. Internet war schnell und man konnte ein Menge amerikanischer Programme auf den TVs empfangen. Die Anlage ist supergepflegt und liegt in einem traumhaften Ambiente. Der Pool war toll und nie überfüllt. Mit den Stränden ist es so eine Sache in Jamaika. Die wenigen öffentlichen sind total verhüllt und man muss ganz ordentlich Eintritt in die anderen Strände zahlen. Auch mit den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist es nicht besonders. Einen etwas besser sortierten Supermarkt haben wir erst in Ocho Rios vorgefunden. Aber diese beiden Punkte sind nach unserer Erfahrung ein allgemeines Problem in Jamaika. Alles in allem ist die Unterkunft ohne Einschränkung zu empfehlen.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Anlage

Wir 2 Erwachsene mit unseren 3 Kindern hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Die Anlage ist gegattet, so dass man sich sehr sicher fühlt. Schöner Pool, Spielplatz und Fitnessstudio bereichern den Urlaub. Im Haus wurden wir von einer netten Maid gut eingewiesen. Alles war vorhanden, TV in jedem Zimmer und ein gut funktionierendes Internet, nur die Spülmaschine konnte nicht benutzt werden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Sweet Escape from the Tourists

If you're trying to avoid the tourist crowd and/or on a budget, this is the right place for you. It is away from the tourist area so you get some peace to yourselves. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and noone bothers you at all. The only thing you might looking into investing is either renting a car or look for a driver during your stay so that you can go hit all the tourist marks or get groceries, as the closest market that I know of is in Ocho Rios, 15-20 min car ride away. Chukka Adventures is within walking distance and a jerk centre (restaurant) is just down the street. If I can go back, I'd stay the same place in a heartbeat. You'll be so busy hitting the beach you practically won't be home at all. But if you are, then this is definitely a home away from home.

The neighborhood is quite lovely. There are many activities to do in the community as well as outside in the neighborhood. The home is located close by to Dunn's River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Mystic Mountain, Chukka Cove Adventure Tours, Scotchies Jerk Center, Ocho Rios Town (Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville, clubs, great food)! You will not be disappointed.
