Riad O2...

Riad O2 is an amazing guest house nestled in the centre of the Medina or old town in Marrakech. Zen and calming, our 6 bedroom riad, where traditional architecture meets modern design features a hammam, massage room, jacuzzi-pool and a magnificent roof terrace. Being a traditional riad, the house is built around a central courtyard with a fountain and exotic plants such as a banana tree and cacti. All of the elegant en suite rooms are individually decorated with air-conditioning, double and twin rooms are available and all come with free WiFi access.
Riad O2 can accommodate 12 adults and 2 children.
Rachida, the cook, prepares traditional dishes using fresh seasonal produce bought daily from the local market. Moad, Hassan and the two Rachidas will welcome you warmly and look after your every need.
Excursions, day-trips, and visits can all be arranged for you during your stay.
After a day out, unwind in this haven of peace and tranquillity with some mint tea in the shade of one of the roof-top tents or relax on a sun lounger before indulging in a relaxing massage (other spa treatments can also be arranged)
Riad O2, in the lovely Sidi Ben Slimane quarter is a 5 minute walk to the Souks and 15 minutes from Djema El Fna Square.

There will always be staff present during the day: Moad the manager who will help you organise your stay, the 2 Rachidas who will clean the room and prepare meals, and Hassan who will serve dinners and drinks and stay in the riad every night.

We recommend Aziz, our driver, who can pick you up at the airport when you arrive and bring you to our Riad.

Great service

This VRBO is very difficult to find as GPS does not work in the old town of Marrakech. Once you find it, it's a beautiful riad with great service. It's a peaceful oasis amidst the chaos of the old town. The air conditioners did not work in 2 of the bedrooms, but the ones that were functioning worked well. The day and night house managers made us feel at home, and the cook/housekeepers were attentive and kind-hearted. Water pressure and hot water were good.

Wonderful time in Marrakech

Rashida, Rashida and Hassan made us feel right at home. They were there for whatever we needed and were friendly and welcoming. We would go stay with them at Riad 02 again, if given the chance

Perfection

I stayed at this beautiful Riad with 5 friends. We had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to go back. We loved every minute and we were sad to leave. The staff is amazing! They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Moad, Rachida, Rachida and Hassan took care of everything we needed and made sure we had the best possible stay. I don’t think our vacation would have been the same without them to take such good care of us. I would take them all home if I could. A huge thank you to them. We ate almost every meal at the Riad O2. It was so good that we did not want to go anywhere else. We only went to another restaurant a few times and we spent the whole time comparing the food to Rachida’s. Rachida won every time. Excellent! I strongly suggest you use the driver service. We would have been lost without Hisham. He picked us up directly from the airport and walked us directly to the door of the riad. It’s a bit of a maze so his presence was necessary and welcome. He also drove us to both of our excursion (Essaouiria and La Valée de l’Ourika) as well as anywhere else we wanted to go.

Wonderful stay and perfect location

Our party of 8 loved our stay at Sidi Bou Amar! The maze of paths to get there is crazy, but once inside, it’s a lovely little oasis. Dinner up on the roof was magical, and the staff worked very hard to make us comfortable. The rooms were clean and it was nice to have en suite bathrooms, although some of them are a little quirky. We did have a couple issues such as a broken toilet seat and a flooded bathroom floor, but in general, we had a wonderful experience. The location right in the Médina can’t be beat!

Wonderful Riad in the heart of the Medina

Our visit to Marrakech was wonderful and staying in the Riad make it so much better. We were very happy because of the installations, also the beautiful breakfast and the dinners we had. The Rashidas were great and also Annette and Moad. The people who had the Hammam experience said it was great better than one of the hammams we took outside. The terrace was great for our dinners. The driver that Annette got us so we could go the new places in Marrakech was wonderful and helped us a lot. Also, I recommend you take the drivers of the Riad when you come from the airport because you have to go to pedestrian streets that are confusing. I think what can be better is the information about Marrakech before we got there , and also information about experience in the markets, maps (which are very useful). In conclusion, the Riad is an excellent place to stay and to enjoy your days in Marrakech.

Une belle parenthèse ensoleillée

Le Riad est très spacieux, chacune des chambres a sa propre sdb. La situation géographique est également très bien, nous avons tout fait à pied sans problème. J’avais réservé cet hébergement à l’occasion de mon anniversaire et nous étions 10 personnes. C’était très facile d’échanger pour l’organisation du séjour et aussi prévoir une journée dans le désert et également un cours de danse orientale. Nous avons eu la chance de dîner / déjeuner plusieurs fois au Riad et c’était vraiment délicieux, un grand merci aux Rachidas d’avoir fait de ce séjour un délice ! La communication était très simple et fluide lorsque nous avions des questions ou des demandes, le jacuzzi en fin de journée est très agréable et nous avons passé beaucoup de moments très conviviaux ici. C’était vraiment un très bel endroit, et c’est rassurant d’avoir toujours quelqu’un de disponible en cas de questions. Sans compter la charge mentale au minimum car tout était très bien géré ! Un grand merci à Moad pour toute la coordination et son aide, et aux chauffeurs de nous avoir faciliter ce séjour ! Tout le monde était enchanté et on garde de super souvenirs. Je recommande à 200% cette adresse si vous souhaitez partir en groupe à Marrakech!

Séjour dans la médina

Riad très bien placés pour visiter le cœur de Marrakech. Le Riad est exceptionnel pour la localisation, mais également pour ses nombreuses chambres et salle de bains. Quelques travaux sont à prévoir je pense pour tafferai hier certaines pièces mais cela n’a pas du tout était gênant pour nous… Une mention spéciale pour Hassan le veilleur de nuit qui a été au petits soins pour nous et les enfants et au Rachidas pour sa cuisine exceptionnelle ! Ils ont fait de notre séjour en famille un meilleur souvenir !

Belle escapade entre amis

Le Riad est conforme à l'annonce. C'est un havre de paix au milieu de la Médina et à quelques pas des premiers souks. Nous avons très bien été conseillés en amont par les propriétaires et les personnes qui travaillent pour ou au Riad sont toutes exceptionnelles. De belles rencontres dans une ville magnifique et en perpétuel mouvement. Nous avons apprécié chaque moment en dehors et au Riad. Nous le recommanderons sans hésitation.

Anniversaire entre copines

Nous avons choisi le Riad o2 pour fêter mon anniversaire entre copines nous avons été reçu comme des princesses Omad a su nous conseiller comme un chef il nous a transmis l’amour de son pays et de ses traditions toujours une petite touche d’humour en supplément les rachidas sont adorables discrètes mais tellement attentionnées nous avons adoré les petits déjeuners et les repas sont excellents inutiles de ressortir le soir pour aller manger dehors Hassan le veilleur de nuit est d’une extrême gentillesse toujours au petits soins pour nous . Les chambres sont spacieuses les lits très confortables la terrasse sur les toits un très bel endroit où se détendre très apprécié le soir pour boire l’apéro. Le Riad se situe près des souks et de la célèbre place un très bon endroit pour découvrir Marrakech. Ne pas hésiter à faire appel aux chauffeurs hisham et homard aux petits soins avec nous et adorables. Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de notre séjour.

Absolument parfait

Tout était parfait rien a dire. Inutile d'aller chercher des restaurants dans la médina les Rachidas sont au sommet de l'art culinaire marocain. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Nous avions réservé le riad entier pour une fête d'anniversaire tous les convives étaient aux anges. Merci pour tout. Yohan

Un séjour exceptionnel !

Un endroit magnifique, un personnel très attentionné à l'écoute et d'une aide précieuse. Les cuisinières Rachida sont vraiment exceptionnelles et le tout travailler avec des produits frais. Nous avons apprécié la privatisation du Riad et des installations mises à disposition. Seule regret et de n'avoir pu profiter de la terrasse car en hiver il faisait froid. Riad propre et très bien situé pas besoin de prendre de taxi pour aller se balader dans la médina. Toute l'équipe est extra Moah, Hassan et tous les autres. Merci pour ce magnifique séjour !
