Rilassati con una tazza di caffè fumante e goditi le eccezionali viste di North East del Passo Ute attraverso un muro di finestre nel tuo salotto o rilassandoti sui 3000 metri quadrati di ponti. Esci dalla porta laterale e prendi l'Esther's Trail per raggiungere il Pikes Peak National Park. Oppure prosegui per un miglio fino al parco dei divertimenti del Polo Nord e l'inizio della strada a pedaggio fino alla cima del maestoso Pikes Peak.

La nostra casa è perfetta per ritiri romantici, vacanze di lavoro, riunioni di famiglia e celebrazioni personali o festivaliere, con molti spazi aperti per intrattenere, una grande camera familiare al piano inferiore dotata di frigo, angolo bar, giochi da tavolo; TV LCD a schermo piatto; servizio a banda larga senza fili; e telefonate a lunga distanza illimitate. Beautiful View

The cabin was great but the views were amazing, especially during the snowy season. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely make the trip again!

Awesome Family Getaway

Loved the property, beautiful views. It was perfect for our family of five. Very nice place…very simple decor (aka not a lot of breakable things for young hands to fiddle with). Literally 15-20 minutes max from all of the primary area sites. Would absolutely return, no doubt about it. We had a wonderful trip and made some great memories with this as our home base for several days.

Wrong date

My siblings and I stayed at this house from July 19 to July . 23. We found the house quite nice and have little negative to say. The lock box for the key was difficult to open. The huge windows lent to a beautiful view but provided blinding light during the morning. Perhaps some blinds? Very secluded and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Great Family Getaway

My family joined me for my 50th birthday here. They are from Florida and were able to really experience Colorado as it should be experienced. The boys had so much fun playing in the snow and the house itself was conducive to long family dinners and time spent together. We loved it!

Wonderful experience

We were looking for a quiet place to let our Florida kids experience snow. This location was perfect! The house had everything we needed. The views were beautiful, and the location is close to so many attractions. We would definitely stay again!

We love the location and layout of the cabin. However, we felt like the property was getting run down, beds not comfortable, sofa dirty. Listed as sleeping 10 but beds for only 8. Two air mattresses had leaks and sofa bed was broken. Beautiful scenery. Glad we had 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Great view!

Need more kitchen towels and wash rags and clean pot holders. Stove top not clean. I worked on it because I didn’t want to be blamed for it. Recliner didn’t always work properly. Not that unhappy, but feel owner needs to have a talk with maintenance.

Mountain Paradise

Rental was up the mountain a short way but once you got there what a nice retreat. Very private and serene with a great view. My wife and I decided to stock up on food and beverages and just eat dinner in every night since it was so nice and not have to drive back into town (Mantitou or Colorado Springs). Nice views in the morning and evening!

Our family of 10 had the best time at this house. The outdoor upper deck was perfect for playing games in the evening. The views were breathtaking and the drive up was fun and adventurous.

Spacious and Beautiful

This is the second time my family has stayed at this cabin…and we always enjoy it! It was neat to see the subtle but nice upgrades since our first visit - none necessary but a pleasant surprise. We enjoy having 3 bathrooms, all with good water pressure, the stunning deck and view - especially when the afternoon storms roll through, and the location for all the things we like to do, including a lot of outdoor activities. The breezes on the deck are great and keep the house cool before and after the hottest part of the day. It feels like “home” to us and we are grateful to have a nice space to spend time together as a family.

Early morning Black bear

Excellent experience. Quiet location, clean place, everything is in good condition , works properly and make your stay effortless. First morning there a large black bear was walking down the trail just beyond the deck. Also saw deer in the area. The air is fresh, the breeze is pleasant. I would recommend.

Beautiful Stunning And Convenient

Our four day getaway was amazing. Beautiful Views of the mountains from inside and out the Cabin were stunning. The drive up to the Cabin in the slick snow covered road was accessible in the 4 wheel drive Rental recommended. Our family of 4 enjoyed the Convenience of stores only being few miles out especially during the snow also convenient was the distance to Manitou And Colorado Springs. THE PANTRY dinner 5mins away has Delicous food there a must try. I cant say enough how breath taking and soothing the views were. We loved it and ⁿwill be coming back with our little ones, thank you Kathryne

Hello, I'm a busy Mom of four kids ages 18 through 11 recently transplanted from central New Jersey to Oregon! My past job experiences have included teaching community college and co-founding one of the first parenting websites, Moms Online. Over the last ten years I've gotten involved in managing rental properties here in NJ/PA, volunteering (Girl Scouts and PTO), and working as Editor in Chief for fitsmi.

My husband and I bought this house as a bit of a lark - it was featured in a NYT piece in the Friday 'Escapes' section on Feng Shui homes. My mother-in-law was increasingly unable to travel and it just made more and more sense as we talked about it: why don't we buy it so we have a place for all of us to stay when we visit her? I did a little research about VRBO homes in the area and, at least at the time, there wasn't much competition (there's more now but we're still doing okay). We set up the house to please ourselves and our guests at the same time. It was a lot of work, and a lot of fun too.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We love, love, love the view at all hours, from watching the sun come up over the mountains early in the morning to dusk shadows and then sometimes a beautiful moon over the pass. My husband and I also love walking the Mt. Esther trail every morning we can (the head of the trail is a 10-minute walk away). When we're at the house, we enjoy complete privacy and the sense that we've gotten away from it all, but we also love the convenience of driving 20 minutes or less to many shops/attractions, from Colorado Springs to Manitou Springs, Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, Cave of the Winds, the local Rock Shop (our kids take forever to spend $5 in there!), Pike's Peak cog train, and more.
