We would highly recommend staying at casita #1, the larger casita on Bob and Sharon's property. Not only were they warm, friendly, helpful and hospitable, but their property was ideally located just 2 doors away from the Lake Chapala Society and within easy walking distance of good restaurants, shops, the malecon and the town square. The casita was fully and thoughtfully equipped, and the king bed was roomy and comfy. The small kitchen was perfect for preparing simple meals, and came equipped with everything we needed for our month-long stay. We loved the authentic Mexican decor. The Internet was high speed and worked flawlessly. We didn't watch much TV, but there were a few English-language channels available. We appreciated the twice a week maid service. We loved the outdoor area, and spent many afternoons lounging around the pool in the shade on the comfortable loungers. The resident cat and two dogs always were happy to see us. Bob and Sharon didn't intrude on our privacy, but they always were available to answer any questions and provide local knowledge and insights.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend casita #1 at Casa de Como to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay while visiting Ajijic.
