Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in the Capri 106 many times. We love the location and the atmosphere of the Capri. But we have given a review before on the bed being terrible. It’s to the point of it has to be changed or we won’t be staying. We talked to others who have said they stayed there and had the same experience with the bed. They said it’s broke but we didn’t look under. It is just a high dips like your in a taco. I had to sleep on the couch.

Wonderful Time, Much Needed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The misses and I stayed 4 nights at the condo, and it pretty much exceeded our expectations. We had everything we needed and the weather cooperated most of the time. Any place can use a little sprucing from time to time, but things were really nice, and we would definitely go back. The only thing that we might consider needing an upgrade is the shower. Pulling the tub and glass sliding doors and go to a walk in shower (grab rails) would be much more accommodating and safer. Very clean and overall comfortable. The wife had her reservations at first, but that changed in a few minutes after we arrived. Thanks Megan for all your help and patience.

Our Happy Place

A best kept secret and we hope it stays that way

Would stay here again. Capri room 106

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My room was on the end closest to the beach. Only thing I didn’t have was private patio but they don’t have many of those. My room 106 had everything we needed and the ac worked great! Loved that it was so close to the beach. I have no complaints. Checked in early which was a blessing traveling so far from Lubbock, Texas.

Our Home away from home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We began staying at the Capri, unit 106 in 2015. It seemed to be freshly remodeled at that time. Since then it has certainly shown some signs of wear and tear. We were pleasantly surprised this year to learn that it has a new owner, and there was a good improvement over the past couple of years! We love the Capri so much! Would still love to see a gas grill like there was when we first started coming. Also the deck on this side often has dangerous nail pops that we will hammer back in so nobody catches a toe on one of them or is tripped while climbing the stairs. It seems it should have had screws installed instead of nails when it was built. The Capri is a slice of heaven though and we look forward to many more visits! Very happy that this unit has a new owner!

Our little piece of Heaven

All you would need. We just went and grabbed a few things to make there when we did not go out. The only thing I had an issue with was the bed. It was very rough. And I didn't get the best sleep. All in all we will be going back.

Disappointed ☹️

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being that this room 106, was for Kelli Welch, Cody Welch stayed in 105, was disappointed to say the least in the room. I found clothing(a shirt and socks) under the bed. The pillows on the bed was so flat and hard. Change up the bedding!! Maintenance person was a rude, I pointed out that there were nails raised up on the steps down to the water and he didn’t think it was a big deal, was going to give me a hammer to do it myself. Room 105, microwave filthy, used face mask under bed, stained comforter and pillows flat and hard. There is too much to write down for this trip!! I myself have stayed at Capri 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years and not sure what’s going on with the cleaning crew and management but was dissatisfied this go around especially with changing the occupancy for room 105 from 4 to only 2 without notification..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing in the Destin area for about 15 years, but this was our first time at Capri. My husband and I went for our 25th wedding anniversary. This unit was clean, the air conditioning was cold, and the deck leading down to the beach is just 25 steps from the front door. And beach service is included, which is really nice. There is only one thing that I would say could be improved, and that is the mattress. It just wasn't very comfortable. Other than that, this unit was perfect. I definitely want to stay at Capri again in the future.

Loved Capri by the Gulf

Two of my friends and I stayed in unit 106. It was a comfortable fit but one more would have been crowded. Unit had all necessary accommodations but needs to be redecorated to look and feel more beachy. Location was great, loved being able to look out the windows and see the beach. Office staff was very friendly. Loved the convenience of walking out the door and practically being on the beach. Would stay again.
