Lovely spot

Beautiful location, very quiet, lovely outlook. Cottage well equipped and owners very helpful - we had a lovely time exploring the local area and relaxing at the property. The extra costs for heating and linen are ok, but should be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

Family and dog Easter trip

We had a fantastic week at this beautiful cottage. Beautiful surroundings with fabulous walks nearby. We enjoyed playing football and cricket in the garden . Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds . We had a day trip to Paris and Rouen . We hope to return and would highly recommend staying here.

Easter Getaway

A great week in a beautiful and serene area of Normandy. A quiet, relaxing environment that catered perfectly for 2 families (including 2 dogs). Lots of lovely walks, exploring the historical nearby villages/towns with easy to reach supermarkets that sold the essential bread, cheese and wine.

Quaint gite

Had a lovely time here. The gîte had everything we needed. Perfect if you want a nice peaceful getaway in a quiet rural location. Which was just perfect for us. We had a hire car and enjoyed exploring Normandy.

Idyllic, Secluded Gite

We had a wonderful 10 night stay in this lovely gite. Anne is a wonderful host, whose English is far better than my French,,, The gite is accessed via a 300m long gravel drive from Hameau du Tot, so be aware and on the lookout! If you are after a peaceful, secluded location, this is perfect. Rouen is just 35 mins drive away and this was very convenient as one of us had to have dialysis treatment at ANIDER whilst away. The grounds around the gite are lovely.

Lovely chocolate-box cottage.

I stayed at the cottage with my wife two of my daughters, my mother and our two friendly border collies. It is very spacious and felt very homely and comfortable. Admittedly there are no shops or cars in walking distance but in all honesty a visit to the nearest supermarket and stocked up with cheese and wine, so we were all happy. The Wi-fi signal was stable and strong so my daughters were very happy. We met the owners and they are extremely lovely people with some of their family living close by who were exceptionally pleasant and friendly. We all enjoyed the week and pleased we chose to stay here. Thank you

Wonderful Norman house

We stayed in the house for a week at the end of September,we are artists, and found plenty to paint, the weather was good but chilly at night,but the efficient central heating kept us warm and cosy.we were met by the owner,who made us very welcom,and gave us wine and honey as a welcome gift,such a lovely thought.Our trip to Rouen(only 30minutes away) was great. All in all a really good holiday

Great family house

We arrived in daylight wat was a blessing cause in the dark we would have had trouble finding it. The entrance is a wellhidden unpaved road were at the end you see the the beautifull house, and we got welcomed by the owner. We had a great stay played a lot in the garden with the kids and had a little dip in the stream. The house is well equiped, and when you miss something the owner wil provide it. The surroundings invite to sultry walks at sundown. You can do al your big shopping in Buchy where there is a big market on monday and a carrefour supermarket. Your little errons can be found in Ry, wich is a very charming village. The kids room was a feast with the in wall bunk beds. Bathrooms are small but clean and well equiped. Very romantic bedrooms upstairs with the old beams on the ceilings. We had a great stay and do recommend it highly

Véritable havre de paix

Nous venons de passer un très agréable séjour au sein de cette chaumière tellement attachante. Sincèrement j'aurais adoré y rester plus longtemps...C'est un endroit très reposant et verdoyant...Cette demeure de charme est bien équipée et très confortable où l'on peut se ressourcer . Et la Normandie a tant de charme...

Une très belle découverte

Le séjour dans le gîte de l’Aselle était pour nous une vraie réussite . Nous avons découvert la région en vélo électrique . Le coin est idéal et nous nous sommes régalés La maison était parfaite , nous avons pu profiter du calme , d ela nature et du barbecue

Hofanlage im Wald

Zuerst dachten wir, dass wir uns verfahren haben. Erst fuhren wir auf einer Art Waldweg, der zum Hohlweg wurde, bis sich eine Lichtung öffnete, in der ein wundervolles reetgedecktes Gehöft stand. Ein Haus durften wir bewohnen. Sehr schön, sehr still und nachts sehr dunkel. Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen. Man muss schon immer mit dem Auto fahren, aber in Paris ist man in gut zwei Stunden. Auch Disneyland haben wir besucht. Das Haus können wir weiterempfehlen. Alles da was man braucht - auch schnelles Internet. Schneller als bei uns zuhause

Admirable séjour

Malgré le temps maussade, nous avons pu profiter de la région. Les photos du site sont loin de refléter la chaleur (au propre comme au figuré) de l'habitation. Rien ne manquait, le wifi était impeccable et l'atmosphère cosy avec un calme aux alentours impressionnant. De plus, l'on peut découvrir énormément aux alentours. Nous reviendrons en famille

we had great vacations

Beautiful house and wonderful nature and landscape around. Friendly and uncomplicated hosts! In the house you find good chairs and a sofa perfect to chill with wine in the evening. The garden is ideal for barbecues. The garden chairs were very comfortable too. Our 1 year old daughter was so happy about the sheep, cows and horses around the house. I made friend with the neighbor´s (our hosts) cat. We made a lot of walks and some longer tours in the fascinating landscape (farms, fields, woods, hills and valleys) around and met a lot of friendly cows (-: The whole family enjoyed the 2 weeks stay in Le Heron very much!
