About this property

2 bedroom cottage with double beds in each room. Cottage has a full kitchen, one bathroom with a shower, living room with windows facing the lake, washer, dryer, A/C, BBQ, picnic table, and 2 Fire Pits. Quiet area to enjoy the sunsets, swimming, fishing, bonfires or just relaxing.

Walking distance to the restaurants, Colchester marina, beach and splash park. Many wineries in area too. Living room has a sofa, love Seat and TV. Wifi as well.

Cottage sits near the edge of the bluff which is about 20' high.
There is lake access nearby.
1)Colchester beach is a 2 minute drive away
2)Walk down gravel road, pass cottage #44, then left at cottage #16 and down the gravel path towards the lake

Great Location.

Everything you’d expect in a cottage. Nothing fancy, just the basics. The owner, Alex, was very nice, especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We have a 3 year old son, and we would have liked to have actual doors in the cottage to keep him contained to go to sleep. The accordion doors to the bedrooms were no match for a 3 year old. There isn’t much in the way of TV channels to choose from, but we were fine with that. If you’re looking for a place to get away, do nothing but relax, this place fits the bill.

Great place for a small group

It was perfect for our needs for a week stay. It is small but we comfortably fit four adults for the last half of the week. It was very clean and well stocked. Only thing that I would have liked to have was salt & pepper but that was fixed with a quick trip to the convenience store in Colchester. The view was great, it was very quiet and close to everything we needed. I would definitely consider staying again. Thank you!

Nice location and convenient to everything but a grocery s tore. Some utensils missing (salt 'n pepper and no lifter). View was worth it.

Nice waterfront site

Cottage is pleasantly situated on the water, even if there really is no beach. Surrounded by other cottages; classic cottage park loop, but this one is in a great site, relative to the others. We were just in for a short weekend in late fall, so the heat was an essential- and it worked well. Even got to plug in the electric car to the outside outlet- a nice trickle charge bonus. Decor was well maintained, and clean; Whole property, actually. Well equipped. Newer bathroom fixtures. A bit cozy, but it's an older, albeit upgraded, small cottage; nothing to complain about if you understand those parameters. Would love to see it again in summer.

Everything you need

This was such a perfect spot for a small family. I loved that we could take our dog and that it had an a/c unit as it was super hot when we were there. Alex was nice and right there when we ran out of propane. I would return and recommend this cottage.

Great Spot

The entire area was clean, private and easily accessible. Very very nice place to stay. The only thing we couldn’t figure out was where the beach was.

We enjoyed our stay.

Nice little community the cabin was nice, tidy and equipped with everything you need. Spoke with manger on the phone and his was very polite and helpful. Nearby beach was nice, beautiful view of water from inside cabin, nice area for kids to play. The reason I gave less stars for the accuracy of the ad is. The wifi listed in the ad doesnt work unless in the back yard and even then it cut in and out. Wasnt too big of an issue for us but if someone wanted to do work or something online this would be misleading. Also the ad says sleeps 6 but theres only 2 double beds and a regular couch (not pull out) and love seat. Love seat might sleep a small child that's the only way I could see it sleeping 6. Ad should say sleeps 5 at most.

beautiful view of lake and stars

the area is great and the view was great. the place was small and needed some updates with bbq and toilet but everything was there that was needed to enjoy the week. the neighbours were very friendly

We are a couple who love relaxing by the lake. We sold our house in Windsor and moved to Colchester to be near the lake and our cottages

This property has a great view of the lake. There is lots of property and room to sit on the front lake side or sit in the back patio area for added privacy. There are 2 fire pits to enjoy. There is a vacant lot next to the cottage for some added space or more room to park or play.
