Family Ski Trip Success!

Our primary purpose for our stay was to comfortably access Stowe Mountain Resort for a week long family ski trip with 4 children, ages 6-9, and four adults! We were so very happy with this condo!! The highlights for us were the wood-burning fireplace that came stocked with a large supply of wood, kindling, and a lighter. There’s something lovely about building and maintaining your own fire ! Especially, with snow falling in the background and with gorgeous views of the meadow and mountain. We also loved how quiet and peaceful the community was and how small and quaint the town felt. Not having an overly commercialized space was perfect! We enjoy cooking our own meals so we brought our own crockpot and a few of our own spices and condiments, but besides that we had all the kitchen necessities needed for home cooked meals. Towels, blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets were provided! Our kids enjoyed the chess boards, checkers, Chinese checkers, and other board games that came with the condo! They also used the two sleds provided in the outdoor closet. Brian was a fantastic host and communicator! The snow was plentiful, ski conditions were perfect, and the condo was the best icing on a very delicious cake! We would definitely stay again :).

Great Townhouse

The property location is perfectly located for both Stowe Resort and all the shops/restaurants in the area. The unit is very comfortable with ample space and plenty of sleep options. We had a very nice stay.

Great views from the deck, we enjoyed watching the sunset. Brian’s townhome is in an excellent location near restaurants, recreational trail path & breweries. Communication with the host was awesome. Will definitely be back.

Vermont for wedding

Needs some TLC and maintenance to fix minor damage things. Location is fabulous, close to pubs and restaurants, and easy access to bike path. Great colors and views. Very quiet.

Stoneybrook never disappoints

Our family has been coming to Stowe for 30 years and Stoneybrook is by far our favourite location. 2 pools and right in the recreation path for biking, beautiful views and very quiet. Brian's home is beautiful and everything is exactly as pictured. Questions were answered quickly and all transactions were smooth. Thanks for a wonderful vacation

We had an amazing time! The home was beautifully situated in a well maintained condo complex with lots to offer. Though there were several units it still felt private and quiet. Easy walk to both pools, restaurants and recreational path. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or more stunning view!

Great location; nice property

The condo had gorgeous views as advertised. I enjoyed drinking my coffee from the provided Keurig coffee maker every morning while looking out over the meadow at the mountain. We took advantage of many amenities — we utilized two of the bicycles on the back deck on the recreation path. We also walked along the path during our stay. It’s located at the front of the condo complex and has easy access to the ice cream shop and a few different restaurants in one direction and gorgeous views in the other. The pools were not busy and we even got in a swim between rainy days. The location can’t be beat. It’s super close to the village, Ben & Jerry’s Factory, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, and the Green Mountain Byway. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was helpful that the upstairs Jack & Jill bathroom had a separate toilet/bath with door from the dressing room that had two sinks since our family of four was sharing it. Our elderly mother/mother-in-law was very comfortable in the downstairs bedroom and bath. Brian was super responsive to text messages when we had questions. We hope to return!

Celebration weekend

A wonderful space to celebrate our UVM graduate with family!! A beautiful location, wonderful dinner spots close by, we enjoyed downtown Stowe and the Stowe rec path made for a great running route. . The condo was perfect and the views were spectacular.

Great place

Great property with lots of room and things to do locally. Our grandkids loved playing in the open areas and we enjoyed a cozy place to stay. Our prime reason for the visit was to see the total eclipse and it did not disappoint. Hope we have a reason to stay again in the future.

Great Family Vacation

Our family stayed at this property for 5 nights in February during the school break. 2 adults and 2 teenagers - all had a great experience. The unit was clean, perfect size, great location to Stowe mountain and to the town. The owner was responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Great ski long weekend stay!

We had a great long weekend stay for President’s Day. This property was exactly as described and a great stay for our two families. The owner checked in to make sure we were all good, and we were. We had dumping snow for four straight days and the community did an excellent job with plowing. We would definitely stay again!

What We Like to Do in Stowe:

Stowe is one of the most special places in New England, and we’re lucky to have it as our second home. When we’re in Stowe, we love getting out and exploring all the amazing outdoor activities. Of course, skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort is always top of mind in the winter months, with the slopes offering something for every level of skier. But there’s so much more to do throughout the year!

In the warmer months, we enjoy biking along the Stowe Recreation Path, which runs right next to Stonybrook Resort. It’s an easy and scenic ride into downtown Stowe, where we can explore the local shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants.

For a more relaxed option, we love to walk from our condo to Idletyme Brewery or Piecasso. Both are just a short walk away and offer great outdoor patios, perfect for enjoying a meal and drinks in the fresh air.

We also love taking the time to explore the Von Trapp Lodge and enjoy their beautiful grounds and attending their summer concerts.

We never miss an opportunity to get outdoors, whether it's hiking up one of the nearby trails, golfing at the Stowe Country Club, or ice skating at Stowe Mountain Resort in the winter. And after a day of adventure, there's nothing better than returning to the condo to relax by the fire or enjoy the spectacular view from the deck. Stowe is truly a place where we can reconnect with nature, friends, and family, and we’re thrilled to share that with our guests.

After over a decade of traveling throughout New England for business, I found Stowe to be the most unique and charming town in the entire Northeast. It’s the quintessential Norman Rockwell town, brimming with character and charm like no other place in New England. One of the things we loved most about Stowe was its individuality—every shop, restaurant, and hotel is unique to the area, with no franchises in sight.

When we began exploring properties in Stowe, Stonybrook Resort immediately stood out.
