Excellent villa and a good base for exploring western Algarve

Clean, comfortable, quiet villa. Suitable for couples and families. Pool is really good, and the beaches in the area are nice. Host is very helpful with requests and info. Second visit here, and we will be back.

A good base for a family holiday

The house was set up as we requested, and it suited the six of us (age range 6-74) very well. It took us a while to spot the recycling boxes in the cupboard next to the barbecue. We have no complaints! Neil responded to my messages very helpfully. There isn’t a washing machine, but we’d have known that if we’d read the list of amenities more carefully! There’s a laundrette a short drive away. We liked Jose’s restaurant, which is 10 minutes walk away. And my wife and I enjoyed dinner at III Geracao in Aljezur. Unfortunately the weather was disappointing, but that’s nothing to do with the villa, of course! Each morning from Monday to Friday we woke to cloud and mist, which sometimes took a while to burn off, and returned in the afternoon. On a couple of days we drove to the Lagos area where we had sun all day. None of us had been to this area before so we have no idea how unusual this is. Thanks again for a memorable and enjoyable week, Neil.

Lovely Villa

The Villa was exactly as described in the listing. The property was clean and modern with 3 large bedrooms and a large spacious sitting room/kitchen. The bathroom and en suite are all very clean and modern. The pool is excellent and ideal for kids. The pool area is also very clean and well kept. The villa is around 1hr 20mins drive from Faro airport and is pretty easy to find. The area is lovely, with a couple of nice, family friendly restaurants that serve up really tasty food. Arrifana is a short drive away and also has a load of places to eat. There is a small shop a short walk from the villa, with a larger market a few minutes drive and a Supermarket in Aljezur which is about 10 mins away. There are a lot of beaches nearby, some are easier to get to than others. Surfing and other water sports seem to be very popular here. Neil, the host, was always available to answer any questions we had and helped make everything very easy during our stay. We had a great time on holiday here and we would highly recommend the property.

We loved our stay here, the pool area in particular is even nicer than the pictures. Neil was really easy to get hold of and so helpful if we had any queries. Location is also fab, would love to come back!

Exceeded our expectations!

The villa was immaculate, well equipped with everything we needed, really spacious and the beds and sofa were so comfortable. The pool was clean and Neil answered us straight away when we had a question about something. The surrounding area was stunning, with Arrifana beach just a few minutes drive and a small shop within a 5 min walk. We really didn't want to leave!

Great Villa

This is a well-equipped villa in a quiet location that is within walking distance of a small supermarket and a couple of bars/restaurants. Easy 5mins drive to two beaches both of which are great. Neil was very easy to deal with and made the whole experience very straightforward. Look forward to heading back for another stay!

great villa

have just returned from this large villa for us it was perfect loads of space inside and out in a great area you will need a car as is a bit away from faro airport and to see the surrounding area.If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you great for surfers and to explore the far west of the Algarve wish we were still there 100%sure will book again

So peaceful and relaxing

We have just spent seven nights here, really did not want to leave. High standard of decoration, lovely pool area, private and quiet. Mini supermarket 10 minutes walk away with fresh bread. We did trips to Lagos (one hour drive) which was very nice with large pedestrian area with shops and restaurants and Aljezur where we visited the castle, museum and centre. Also did some scenic coastal walks in the evening after dinner. Great sun set. Just being around the private pool in the sun was the highlight. Highly recommend and thank you.

fantastic villa

Villa is fantastic, beds were comfortable, accommodation was clean. pool was an ideal size the pictures don't do it justice! outside sitting area was very nice - the way the villa is situated it gets the sun from early morning right through to sunset in the back yard Neil the owner was extremely helpful and prompt with any queries. the only downside was the wifi as the router is in the middle bedroom and not strong in the public areas of the villa 3 bars and 2 restuarants in walking distance and a small supermarket which is very well stocked you will need a car while living whereas we didn't see any public transport. intermarche supermarket was 7 mile away in Aljezur which stocked everything you would need. would definitely recommend!

Great property in lovely peaceful location

Overall we had a great stay. The house is very spacious, nicely decorated, clean, working wi-fi, equipped with all the necessities, lots of cutlery, crockery, pans, pots etc., lovely pool area. There's a mini store and 2 cafe's/restaurant's within a 10 min walk from the house. The area itself is very peaceful and nice. Would definitely stay again.

FANTASTIC villa!!! Highly recommend!

Fantastic property in a quiet area. Really close to the sea/beaches. Great little shop and bakery 5 minute walk down the street as well as a ristorante a bit further that was great food/service. Would recommend hiring a car as it may be difficult to get to without. Also to do larger shops you'll need to drive about 10-15 mins to Aljezur where there is petrol and an Intermarche. House is exactly like the pictures. Very spacious and clean. Open up the front windows and back doors to get a really nice cross breeze and really open the house up. Pool was fantastic. Large enough to fit 5 adults in floating rings. :). Host was fantastic, very helpful and informative and responded quickly to any questions. We hope to be able to visit again in the future and would definitely recommend!!!

A nice summer holidays house!

The house is well placed as we are in a central position (by Arrifana) from fantastic beaches like Praia do Amado, Vale Figueiras or Vale dos Homens. You have a selection of very good restaurants around... The house is well kept and nice to live in and I would definitively recommend it.

Spacious and comfortable villa located in a national park far from tourist crowds

The villa was equipped with everything needed for a relaxing family holiday with student age children. Spacious rooms, air conditioning, fast wi-fi and satellite tv. Very nice pool and pool loungers. The master bedroom opens up on the pool area which is very convenient. Vale de Telha is far from traditional Algarve tourist areas and shops so be prepared to drive 20 mins each way to buy groceries in Aljezur - the local shop has limited choice. We also needed to drive to the beach - we went to both Arrifana and Monte Clerigo which are about 5 mins away by car.

Correu tudo muito bem tendo em conta o disponibilizado na plataforma. Apenas, como critica construtiva, deverá ser revisto o sistema de iluminação no exterior. Entretanto tivemos um problema numa das wc, e não foi resolvido, tendo ficado privado de 4 dias sem utilizar uma das sanitas.
