Awesome Location with beautiful views

loved the location and proximity to hiking and biking trails. Quiet neighborhood. The large TV and couches in the living room were really nice. The house needs some updating, the bathrooms and showers are small/cramped(especially the master). The lighting in the kitchen needs to be updated. The house did have all the basics, but would have been nice to start with more toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and garbage bags, just things that are nice to be included. Overall, a nice trip, and a reasonable price.

New favorite place

This cabin was very clean and very beautiful. The views were absolutely gorgeous and there were moose tracks everywhere. One morning we woke up, there was a moose out in the clearing. The rental company is also wonderful. Our power went out and they were very helpful and timely. New favorite spot to vacation for sure!

Better cleaning needed

Overall, the property was in good shape, however, cleaning could have been better. The hardwood floors were dirty/sticky and there were many cobwebs hanging around, especially on the living room ceiling. The house had adequate provisions in the kitchen and plenty of bath towels. The property is just a short drive to Grand Lake and has decent hiking trails just a stone's throw away.

Clean mountain property

Communications and response were good. Had a wifi issue that was resolved teh same day. The only thing i would recommend for this property is a more organized kitchen. I would have brought more things (like a wisp, or hand mixer, etc). The bedrooms were very comfortable and the patios are nice. The couches and chairs are dated and not much for cushion left, but we enjoyed the property and the location was awesome

I was disappointed with the cleanliness: main bedroom bedside table very dusty and the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in ages. The bedside lamp switch didn't work. Liquid soap dispenser was empty. Furniture in cabin quite worn. Regardless, we loved Grand Lake and were fortunate to have great weather and aspen at their peak of color! In Grand Lake, we enjoyed Sagebrush Restaurant, Jumpstart Coffee, Grand Pizza, Bob Scott's Authentic Indian Jewelry, Kauffman House Museum, a walk along the lake near entrance to RMNP, and hanging out by the lake.

This home is on the edge of the burn of the East Troublesome Fire, making for some spectacular contrasting views. The home was built in the 70's, is showing its age and lacks many of the amenities expected in a short-term rental. However it was adequate for our needs for the long weekend.

Relaxing nountain views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin and especially enjoyed sharing our coffee on the deck each morning, watching the sunrise on the mountains. It was quiet and peaceful yet close to town. Love all the stores in Grand Lake and spent two days enjoying the water. Be sure to take the boat tour! Loved eating breakfast outside each day at Sagebrush. Great food with friendly service!

Property met all needs. We enjoyed the wrap around decks with mt. views( despite the burn areas) and the proximity to town was great yet still remote enough for a Moose visit right on the property. The kids were thrilled when it showed up. Only wish there was a trash dumpster on site.

The cabin was a bit outdated and the TV in the second room did not work but the views from the living room window made that not important at all. The furniture, appliances and electronics could use an upgrade for sure but overall we had an amazing vacation in this cabin. We would recommend to anyone and would love to stay here again. The beds were very comfortable. The home did not have AC but we didn't need it. We visited at the end of June for reference.

Beautiful view of the mountains and lots of wildlife to enjoy— moose, deer, fox, osprey, chipmunks... Ponds and hiking trails are right there. Place feels out of the way but not far from Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain NP, and Grandby. Do the hot air balloon tour in Fraser,. Great trout fishing in Grand Lake and boat rental available at the marina. Bring your usual fishing tackle and Kirks Fly Shop will set you up with what is needed to catch lots of fish. Try the food at “One Love” but get there early. Had a great time.

Spring break 2022

Myself and 4 kids (15 to 24) used this for spring break getaway. Nice home with plenty of space for all, plus some set in the mountains at the outskirts of Grand Lake Colorado. Home had TV's, though we did not use, games and nice outdoor areas, and 2 large decks for relaxation at the property. There are some basic needs in the home which is nice, such as oil, spices, tea bags, dish soap, shampoos/conditioners, etc. So unless it is a specificity your family has, check out the supplies at the house before you pack. If it what you need is empty, the Mountain Market in Grand Lake Village will have it for you. Be sure to Google store times, depending on the time of year to plan for stocking the home upon arrival. Home is located with minimal driving to multiple sites and activities- skiing, (Grandby Ranch is where we went, but Winter Park is 45 minutes down the road), snowmobiling (Grand Adventures is who we used, but also On the Trails) hiking, scenic driving for winter; summer Grand Lake, ATV rentals, hiking etc. All within the national forest lands. Very nice shopping in Grand Lake, friendly local shops. In Spring/summer, you will be able to drive Highway 36 through the National Park, 45 minutes to Estes Park, if you need more shopping.
