LOCATION
This Provence holiday rental home is located between Nice and Cannes, 13 kilometers from the airport of Nice. The villa rests in the 'Domaine' Vaugrenier Présidences, a guarded and secured area beyond and above the Parc National de Vaugrenier and the highway A8. From the house you enjoy a magnificent, panoramic view over the Park and the Mediterranean Sea.

FACILITIES IN THE AREA
The Domaine also comprises two tennis courts, a playing-ground for children and a nice large swimming pool, all for the exclusive use of the inhabitants of the Domaine. About 50% of the inhabitants have their permanent homes here. The distance to the closest beach is 1,5 km. Nearby you find a Marineland, Amusement Parks, Casinos and numerous other attractions. Within 10-30 minutes by car you reach 20 golf courses. The charming town of Biot is 5 minutes away.

THE HOUSE
The house is 120m2 with two floors. There is a south-facing terrace, in addition to a garage and two parking lots.

First floor contains:
- A large livingroom with an open fireplace and direct access to the terrace. There is an build-in aircondition.
- Well-equiped kitchen in Provence style
- Diningarea with open access to the kitchen and the livingroom.
- An office with a printer (and a sleeping couch)
- Laundryroom with Miele washing machine and dryer
- Guest toilet
- A hall with good closet space

Second floor contains:
- Three bedrooms where two of them have a doublebed, while the one have two seperate beds moved together. They all have aircondition which is very silent.
- Two bathrooms where one have a shower and a hottub and the other have only shower. Both contain a toilet.
- Bathroom floors with electric heating

Great for Tennis Holidays

every morning we played tennis and then took a swim in the pool (there are two tennis courts which can be booked for free easely and the public pool was never too crowded) so the breakfast has always tasted great ;) We also visited Monaco, Antibes, Nice and Cannes and went to the beach (everything easy reachable by car). The appartment was very clean and fully air conditioned, what we really appreciated. I'm really happy that we found such a great appartment for our holidays. Tom and Margaretha are really nice and easy to communicate with (owners)

A perfect week in a perfect house

July 2013, We had a perfect week in this lovely house, clean and well furnished. Perfect located close to the Nice airport, and it was easy to navigate to the house. The listing descriptions regarding the house, layout and facilities were accurate. The owners provide excellent customer service. Great communication. Family members in all ages from 3 to 70 enjoyed every second. We spent a lot of time in the kid-friendly pool area. We also played tennis in the afternoons. Well equipped kitchen with BBQ facilities outside, perfect for making good dinners at home. If you like shopping we can recommend CAP 3000, close to the airport. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was appreciated. We highly recommend this house and we hope to return to villa Soleil soon. Thanks for a great week.

Nice house, poor experience

The property was nice with very good views, a few things you should know before you visit: 1. You must have a car for this location, it is a 30 min walk up a very steep hill and there are very difficult to get an Uber or taxi 2. The neighbors are unfriendly and have a very large, vicious dog that was scary for us and our kids to walk by, also barks alot in the early morning and at night 3. Checkin process is difficult because the owner was not there and the guard at the gate only speaks French and is not there at certain hours 4. The owner is very picky on checkout and charges high fees, we ended up getting charged $400 for getting makeup on a towel, which easily washes out

Highly recommended!

Lovely villa in a great location near to Antibes, Nice and Cannes. The villa was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the owners was excellent particularly when we had an issue with the air conditioning. Pool was also lovely and quiet in the mornings although worth bearing in mind it is a 10 minute walk up and down a hill. All in all we really enjoyed it and hope to return one day.

Excellent vacation home in the sun

We had a very good week at the Villa Soleil. First the location is fantastic, about half way between Nice and Cannes , a 10- minute drive to the nearest beach, walking distance to a large nature park and with fabulous views. The house is exactly as pictured, with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, in addition to a living area and a large patios area. In addition, the pool is a short distance away. We were able to use the patio for many wonderful dinners. The house was clean and communication with the owner very easy. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Clean and comfortable villa in a gated community.

We have enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The villa has all the equipment one needs and is of good quality. This is a house where the owners spend their time. It is between Antibes and Nice in a quiet gated community with a large pool and two decent tennis courts. The backyard is private and offers view of the sea. The property is located on a hill. There can some noise from the motorway every now and again when one is outside but it is not overbearing and has not bothered us. Owners were responsive and helpful when we contacted them with questions.

Well equipped spacious holiday home at excellent location for trips in the neighbourhood

We enjoyed our stay very much. Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry are very well equipped: you feel at home instantly. Tennis court and shared swimming pool are well maintained. Since the villa is close to various main roads and the railway station is at 10 minutes drive, it is an excellent location to make day trips along the coastal region of the South of France. Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Biot and St Paul de Vence are within 30-45 minutes drive. We did not anticipate the closeness of the A8 motorway: it took us some time to get used to.

Amazing find

This was such a great holiday experience. Tom and Margaretha have really thought of everything and the place is so well equipped. You don’t need to bring anything apart from clothes! Really child-friendly - they’ve thought of everything for kids and babies. It was all so easy. Villa is stunning and the area is really great to explore. Loads to see and do. Such a perfect spot for a holiday.

Place in the Sun

It was a delight to return once more to Villa Soleil. The Villa is aptly named as the Sun House, as we enjoyed the sun from early morning to glorious sunset at night. We especially like the way that the villa is nestled into the hillside. It provides complete privacy on the patio, while we still get to enjoy an unencumbered view of the Mediterranean and village of Antibes. Even in Fall, we spent a lot of time sunning and dining al fresco on that patio. The house itself is very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. On this last visit, the fall evenings were spent lounging in front of the log fire. It felt very much like home. The location of the Villa is especially good. It is close to the action, yet slightly removed for relaxed downtime. It is within easy reach by car to the technology park of Sophia Antipolis for those that need to work there, and the picturesque villages of Antibes, Biot, and Valbonne are only minutes away for markets and pleasure. It is also nice to have Monte Carlo, Cannes, Nice, and Eze within easy reach by expressway, and to have the alternative of a scenic coast road for a lazy afternoon return. Villa Soleil holds nothing but good memories for us. I expect you will see us again.

Perfect holiday retreat

our family stayed in this beautiful villa in June 2015 and had a lovely time. Villa was spotless and equipped with everything you may need, even a stair gate for the little ones! Villa is located on the edge of the complex so a short drive to the pool was required as we had small children who wouldn't have been able walk that far. Pool was a great size and never more than a few guests at any time. This is a very safe area as it is gated and guarded at all times, very reassuring! Location was great, no more than 15 mins to lovely beaches/shopping etc. definaty would reccommend this villa. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Villa Soleil

We have just returned from renting this beautiful property, it has everything you need to make your holiday one you will not forget. The bedrooms are large, beds very comfortable. Bathrooms excellent. Beautiful private garden with sea views, very large lounge, well stocked kitchen. We all felt that this house is a very good find and we will be back. Already planning our next visit., truly home from home, very clean and bright. The area and site well cared for, staff very friendly and helpful.

Perfect For Our Family Group

Villa Soleil provided a superb quality cote d'Azur location with ample accommodation for our family group of 3 Adults and 3 very active Children. The Villa is beautifully furnished and very well equipped with high quality furnishings. Everything Works Perfectly! Domain Vaugrenier Presidences, proved to be both exclusive secure and friendly! Beautifully located with only minor noise disturbance from the autoroute at times. Tennis and Swimming facilities were 1st Class as expected. Villeneuve-Loubet-Plage has an attractive clean Mediterranean style pebble beach. Indeed the Villa location gives easy access to the coast and all the beauty of Provence So much to do that day’s role by too fast. Nice and Airport; Cannes; Monaco the list or attractive laces to visit is endless We had a great time and wish Margaretha and Tom every happiness with their beautiful Villa Soleil. Will we be back???? We can only DREAM.....….

Family summer holiday.

After nearly a week in Paris it was wonderful to arrive to Nice and this beautiful house. The house was clean and pleasent - ideal for us a family of 2 adults and 3 children. The air condition worked very well - nice considering the temperatur of 30deg outside. The swimming pool was used every day by the children - not crowded at all. The house makes an excellent start point for sightseeing the area. We visited Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Monaco, Biot and San Remo (Italy). In addition we had 2 great days at Marineland and Aquapark (only 5 minutes away by car).

A lovely family holiday

We arrived at the villa after a long drive from Zeebrugge and were instantly impressed. The house is really well located with beautiful views over Antibes. The house was really clean and well furnished. We have a young baby and a 3 year old and all were very comfortable. The whole expeirence from booking to the end of the holiday was made very easy by the owners and I would strongly recommend a holiday in this lovely villa. We hope to return again soon.

The Perfect Place

This is the perfect place to stay in southern France. It is very convenient to explore the coast from Italy to St. Tropez since the villa is located right in the middle. The villa sits up on the hillside looking down on the Med, and the views from the house and the garden day and night are spectacular. The Villa is large, comfortable, clean and attractive and you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. We also enjoyed the privacy and security that come with being in a gated community. We also loved the community swimming pool. We had a great dinner at Martin's Restaurant in Port Marina Villeneuve-Loubet, where the food, service and outdoor dining lived up to its 2 forchettes Michelin Guide rating (Our four year old loved his special child's gourmet duck dinner). Another place we enjoyed dinner was in Menton at the La Coupole (Pizza, fish soup and dame blanches). It was so good we had to go back a second time. With the villa being close to several hypermarches and great bakeries, it is easy to keep down the costs of eating out. Our favorite bakery was Au Pain Des Dieux Patisserie. The sandwiches, pasteries and breads were delicious. We loved our week at Villa Soliel. It is good to know that we have found a place in the sun to return to when our home to the north is cloudy and cold. Thanks Tom and Margaretha for sharing your beautiful home with us.

July 2010. We arrive at a beautiful place and an absolutely perfect villa. It is so incredibly great here wooden decks, bedrooms with aircond. Everything is so pure and perfect, we got to experience a lot of 1 week, who passed all too quickly. We will be happy to return to this great site. The old town of Antibes, Biot was great places to visit. Marineland was a great place for our girls.

Perfect for our holliday

We rented his house for 3 weeks in July 2009. Both the house and the surroundings were perfect for our holliday. We were 7 persons + a baby occupying the house for three full weeks, and still the house felt spacious and fullfilled all our demands. Well cleaned upon arrival and fully equipped. The house has a brilliant view over the Antibes bay, and enjoyes sunshine from early morning to sunset. Though the A8 freeway is close by, the house is not bothered by any noise as it is elevated on a hill. Every bedroom is individually air-conditioned. The owner has made a detailed user guide that will answer all your questions. On our request, the owner supplied the hous with both baby/childrens chair and bed - perfect service. With regards to location and travel, we used the train a lot to get both to the east and to the west (Antibes 5-6 min, Cannes 20 min, Nice 15 min, Monaco 40 min). Still it was usefull to have a rental car, as the train station is situated aproximately 2 km away, as well are the nearest grocery stores. We reccomend the Carrefour by the Antibes-exit on A8. For walks and training, the nearby Vaugrenier forest/park is perfect. We can give our senciere reccomendations for this house, and to the owner.

Villa Soleil

We have stayed in Villa Soleil in June 2007 and again in September 2008. Both times we have been very pleased with this beautiful villa. It is nicely decorated and well maintained. There are two tennis courts in the Domain and a nice pool area. Lovely view and a great location. Perfect place to relax!

I am a lawyer, my office is in Oslo, Norway. My wife Margaretha is half French and speaks the language fluently. She keeps the contact with our housekeeper, the gardien of the Domaine and the various companies that help us maintain the high standard of the house. We have rented out the house part of the year since it was finished in March 2002. This activity has offered us so much pleasure in the contact with our leesses from around the world. We always try to give them a personal contact and offer them a stay that suits their needs.

Why they chose this property

We chose to build in this location because of the fantastic view and very nice location close to "everything". The Domaine is very nice, quiet and well kept. We personally love to be here, and enjoy all that this region of France offers: Nice beaches, charming villages, great markets, museums and lovely walks along the coastline and in the mountains. Important to us is that the location is ideal logistically with a minimum of traffic hinderances. So you are able to GET AROUND easily, which is not the case when you live in the seaside towns of the area.
