This newly converted south-facing 3 bedroom condo with an open living and dining area provides bright and spacious accommodation for families and friends. Two bathrooms (one en-suite) plus a further cloakroom/utility room, air conditioning, wi-fi and television all makes for comfortable living. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge which can be used for additional registered guests. There is a terrace leading off one of the bedrooms and a patio garden for outdoor enjoyment. Just 3 minutes walk from South Kensington Underground station and close to the museums and the bustling outdoor restaurants and cafés that abound in the area, it is ideally located. There is a gymnasium just 3 doors away and the street and the surrounding area of Brompton Cross are peppered with upmarket fashion houses and other great shops.
Exhibition road 4 minutes walk is lined with some of the best museums The Victoria and Albert Museum the Science Museum an amazing place for kids and parents alike , the Natural History Museum one of the best in the world, the Geographic Society, Imperial College, The royal Albert Hall, etc. etc etc, all this leading to our most beautiful Hyde Park which in the winter turns into a Winterwonderland and kensington Gardens where some of our Royals live.On the other side, Nightsbridge ten minutes walk offer the smartest shops in town like Harrods, Harvey Nichols an the best designers., whilst Chelsea down the road caters for boutique clients and the young at heart! 4 . to 5 stops on the Piccadilly line will take you to the heart of China Town ,the West end and the world of theatres

Wonderful Host

Sonia was an amazing host. So welcoming and hospitable. The house was just perfect for us. Sonia went above board to ensure we had everything we needed. Every amenity we needed and so much more. A perfect location for a stay in London. I would not hesitate to recommend or revisit.

Fantastic home for a weekend break

We booked this house for 5 friends to support one of the party running London marathon. It looked amazing from the description, and in a great location. What we found was not just a house but a warm welcoming home. Sonia couldn’t have been more helpful and the lovely touches of a welcome package, fruit bowl and wine couldn’t have been nicer. And what a lovely character to chat to. As long as this property is available, we will definitely book here again.

Perfect for our whole family

In a great location for lots of the main sights. 200 yds from South Ken. underground. Tesco & Waitrose 10min walk away. Sonia had left lots of "homely" touches like tea, coffee, milk & sugar, bread, & bottle of wine! what more could you possibly need. We had our 8mth old grandson with us so we spent the evenings in & were easily able to cook for all the rest (7) when baby was asleep. The apartment was comfortable, warm & spotlessley clean & we would recomend it to anyone, especially families. Thanks Sonia, & lots of love from us all. Derek, Maureen, Lisa, Holly, Tom, Shaun, Jo & Baby George Priestley.

Beautiful house in a great spot, perfect hosts!

Our family had a lovely stay in this house. It is in the most fabulous and convenient spot! Museums and delicious foods shops only a stroll away. Neville and Sonia were kind and thoughtful hosts and did everything they could to make us feel at home. Highly recommend.

Our hosts couldn’t have been more generous in their hospitality. We came into a kitchen stocked with all the foods for breakfast including coffee, bread, fresh butter, cheese etc. The townhouse is perfectly located near tube and multiple bus stops. Lots of good cafes and restaurants. A/C and heat worked well. Having a roomy kitchen and full sized fridge helpful. Lots of closets. We will return when we are in London again.

Excellent London Home Base for the Tourist, right on South Kensington Tube Station

Well stocked condo right. 100m from the South Kensington Tube Station. Very easy access from London Heathrow, situated in area with multiple dining and drink options. Fantastic owners - very friendly and helpful! We couldn’t have picked a better place for our first visit to London.

Great Location, Charming Hosts

This is a great place to stay for an exciting holiday in London. The location is superb for public transport and the major tourist attractions in London, many of which are in the area. Neville and Sonia were charming hosts and we really appreciated the food they brought us so that we didn't have to do any shopping for breakfast. We shall certainly come back again!

Wonderful experience

The flat was beautiful and had everything we needed to make our stay so comfortable. Neville and Sonia were very attentive, caring, kind and gracious hosts. The location so close to the South Kensington tube station was so convenient as it accesses three lines. We were even able to travel directly back and forth from Heathrow on the Picadilly line without changing. I would highly recommend this place! We had a family group of 7 part of the time and a group of five for part of our stay. They were also several grocery, restaurants, and the museums and Hyde park was within walking distance,

Thankyou for a fantastic stay. Sonia and Neville were so kind to us. The property was very well equipped, warm, comfortable and perfectly suited to our family of six. I would definitely recommend the property. South Kensington underground stop has minimal stairs so travelling with suitcases was no hassle.

Beautiful flat in a great neighborhood

This flat was perfect for our stay. We were so close to great restaurants and a tube stop, which made getting around London so easy. The flat was very comfortable and wonderful for our family.

Great home base for our stay

This home was great for our family of 6. It’s a very short walk to the South Kensington station. We walked there every day to start our adventures and stopped at Pret on the way for breakfast.The home was comfortable for us and we appreciated the two and a half baths with 4 teenage girls. Sonia is a fabulous host, answered questions quickly, and was very reassuring when we arrived two days late after two cancelled flights.

Very nice location. 3 small but nice bedrooms. The linens and beds need to be replaced, as they are extremely tired. No clothing dryer - fortunately the weather allowed us to hang towels outside. Could not beat location and hostess was lovely.

Perfect London Location with a Personal Touch

For us (two adults and one child just turning 17 during the stay) both the location, Sonia's warm personal welcome (including several small, fresh flower arrangements and a fruit basket, some breakfast basics and also a white wine which we just didn't manage to drink) and the personal touch of the three bedroom-apartment were perfect. All three of us could sleep very well. Of course, you could hear a bit of the street life and the trains - which did not disturb us in the least. The dining / kitchen area is nicely designed and equipped with everything you need. The living room is very comfortable to sit - and also to watch TV or to read one of the many London guidebooks. You have personalized cushions everywhere and, of course, large paintings in the dining room area and in the hallway. Our own house is quite old, and we simply love older houses with a character of their own. On the next occasion we would very much like to come again.

Comfortable and charming!

This was a vey comfortable flat with the owner's (Sonia) personal touches which added to its charm. The flat was well equipped and perfectly located within walking distance of several great museums. The nearest tube, South Kensington Station, was also a very short walk away. Sonia helped with directions, dinner recommendations and everything else we needed to know. We appreciated her generous hospitality.

Great location with pros and cons

Pros: great location! Close to Underground and many restaurants. Very nice for our family to gather in the morning for coffee and after our busy days of traveling. Kitchen well stocked and refrigerator had some staples for us. Lots of closet space. A nice courtyard in the front where we gathered for cocktails. Cons: checkout time in vrbo said 11am but owner told us we must leave at 10am. For the price we paid vrbo for cleaning, I expected a very clean house. Floors were dirty (our white socks were filthy on the bottom), bathroom tiles were moldy, and under the bed was dirty and dusty. Linens in main bedroom were stained as well as the mattress pad. Mattress was very thin, uncomfortable, and the bed was squeaky. Other bedrooms had uncomfortable beds as well. Towels in bathrooms were old and rough. Linens and towels should be upgraded to allow for more comfort to the guests.

Beautiful flat in South Kensington

Great location and property!

This was a great stay for our family - two adults, two teens, and a pre-teen. The three bedrooms were great, and the two twin beds allowed all of the kids to have their own bed. Two showers were also helpful in getting everyone ready in the morning. The washing machine and drying rack made doing laundry easy. The kitchen was well-appointed, though we didn't do any cooking as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. In terms of location, the tube stop is a short, easy walk. With three underground lines at the stop, we rarely had to change trains to get to the popular tourist areas. Sonia, the host, was easy to communicate with ahead of our stay. She met us when we arrived at the property and gave us a thorough and very friendly orientation. We didn't have any issues during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

Wonderful Spot!

Easy check in, Sonia gave us great direction from the Tube to her place. She provided us with a mall amount of food and beverages to get us through the first night. Place is in a great location to explore all of London. Would look here first on our next visit!

Great place, great location

We stayed for five days, parents and adult kids. Was a terrific location and the home was a perfect place to come home to after a long day. You can get anywhere easily from South Kensington tube station which is just down the street. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous location

Absolutely perfect, close to the South Kensington Station and within walking distance of sights and shopping.
