Diamond Beach 215
This is the second year we stayed in this condo. After the first stay we reported the sliding door was in need of repair (hard almost impossible to open and the lock was so corroded it wouldn't lock). This year, the slider was worse and my wife could not open the door without help. There were no blankets, the bed was very (too) soft, no beach friendly towels, flat uncomfortable pillows, dirt under the bed and nightstands. The TV remotes were not together and it took us three days to figure it out. Overall our week was amazing. The condo needs a little work but was great for our vacation...

Closed pools/beach access
Unfortunately, the hurricane hit the weekend prior to our visit. All of the outdoor amenities were closed including both pools w/ the lazy river which is the main reason I made this reservation. Very hard to get any communication prior to going, was emailed miscommunication saying the pools were open. The actual unit we stayed in was cluttered and the outdoor furniture was worn and dirty.

Adequate condo at very nice property
Have stayed at Diamond Beach many times at a variety of condos. The bar has reopened. The landscaping has been updated. Some aging of pool furniture. Always nice never over crowded The condo was below average for Diamond Beach. For this price you can do better on other sites. Minimum amenities but clean

Claire with Sterling Realtors worked with us as our plans changed due to recent flooding. She did a great job making sure we were able to use the unit when we could there. The Ace of Diamonds unit on the second floor was very convenient and comfortable. The staff and especially the manager at Diamond Beach were very helpful and professional. We'll be coming back!

Great condo, great location, lots of amenities for family activities on site. WiFi connection spotty throughout the condo and the walk to the beach isn't ideal. Definitely would think for the location and the price of the condo, beach access would be better.

We loved our stay at Diamond Beach. The indoor pool sold us on staying there since it was in the middle of February. While this is Texas, the beach was still pretty chilly! The condo was nicely appointed and was perfect for our family of 4.

Beautiful Resort/ Room needs a bit of help
The room and resort was beautiful but the bed was probably the worst one I have ever slept in. Super squishy and lumpy with bad bedding. Shower was great, views amazing, kitchen so-so, but no dish towels or hot pads. 2 towels only for each bathroom. We would definitely go back IF the bed was replaced. The pools were great.

This is really a great little getaway down in Galveston. We only left the property 1 time. Every thing you need and want is at Diamond Beach Resort. Highly recommend.

The best!
We absolutely loved this stay. The staff at Diamond Beach is attentive. The facility is clean and the amenities that Diamond Beach offers including but not limited to the easy access to the beach was PERFECT. For never having visited Galveston before we couldn’t have selected a better location to have such an enjoyable vacation. We didn’t deal with the high crowds or crowded beaches as we drove and noticed near the seawall. The low key area provides sort of a private space and it was fabulous. My family already wants to go back. And, we will be.

Beautiful property
This rental was in the perfect location. Second level looking out to the pool and could still see the gulf. The two twin beds were extremely uncomfortable and the patio furniture is very sparse and weathered. Overall, would stay again.

The location is just wonderful. The property is beautiful but the furnishings in the unit and on the balcony were less than expected and not near as nice as the pictures show. The twin beds need new mattresses and the living room and balcony furniture is definitely needs to be replaced.

We enjoyed our stay. Read people say bed was uncomfortable, found bed good, has a pillow top just needs to be puffed up daily, no big deal, we had no problem getting a hold of anyone. Condo had everything we needed, loved the large balcony, We loved the lazy river, except kids need to be kept out of dirt they would run around and bring in water. pool was nice, never too crowded, didn't try indoor pool. All condo staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location. Would stay again

The only complaints we had with this condo was the outdoor balcony area was filthy and the furniture is very old. They should have more bath towels for the guest. The condo facilities and amenities "missing in Action" this property has a lot of potential but I guess due to a lack of workers it seems neglected. The lazy river was awesome the pool was clean.

Great location, awesome pool and lazy river! The Swim up bar is run by an independent vendor, therefore the bar has no set days or hours of operation. After booking you will receive a list of items to bring which often are included with other properties… cleaning supplies, trash bags, soap, shampoo. Easy check in, clean property.

The property was ok but the room had several small repairs needed, light bulbs out, remote batteries dead, tube drains slow, mattresses broken down, Mildew in master shower, bulky furniture made master closet inaccessible. View was great and pool was good. Beach access is not great, pool bar closed and water slide closed. Parking is limited and game room area several games did not work. Movie theater runs off Roku it is not an actual movie theater just a large home TV and remote didn’t work. Overall, I hoped for more for the price but was due-able for the stay we needed.

We stayed in rm 215. The shower stall could use some deep cleaning and the vents haven’t been cleaned in awhile. Now the rest…. Awesome. I liked the secured garage parking, you need a pass and a gate open to get it. The security was top notch. The awesome desk people, that’s not what they are called, were over the top with help. The beach was just minutes a walk away. You all need to go!
