Quiet, comfortable home away from home

Villa Juanmi is very quiet, private and conveniently located close to town. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and relax. The ceiling fans kept us cool at night and the pool was lovely. Juan was very helpful and responded quickly to any requests. We really enjoyed our stay!

A lovely tranquil villa

The property is great with everything you need for your stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful on arrival and very communicative, however we did feel like they sent a few too many messages whilst we were at the villa, disrupting our stay slightly.

10 night stay

We came had the most amazing stay. There is everything you need in the villa and the outside kitchen area is great . The pool was used many times a day , complemented by plenty of sunny areas as well as shade for dining. Juan , (the host ) was very welcoming and at hand if needed. All in all We would definitely highly rate the villa, and will be staying again next June 👌

Casa Los Plazas

This property was very clean, private and well appointed. The property was located at the end of a quiet, single track road on the outskirts of Alhaurin el Grande. The pool was magnificent and all we required was catered for, with ample chairs, sun loungers and parasols. There’s even a built in barbecue if you wish. Juan, the owner, was very friendly and helpful; he was always available if required and any small issues were dealt with in short order. One minor issue we had was that the cookware (pots & pans) were very worn and not very efficient for use. However we managed, but it would be good to see them replaced. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 19 days at Casa los Plazas and would definitely recommend it and would return. A car is desirable if you don’t want a hike along an unlit, winding road to the main road.

Très jolie villa au milieu des orangers et oliviers parfaitement close sans vis à vis Très belle piscine avec vue sur les montagnes Maison moins spacieuse que sur l’annonce mais ce n’est pas un problème car la vie se fait essentiellement à l’extérieur La climatisation indiquée n’en est pas une mais Juan nous a confirmé qu’il allait en installer une pour le bien être des vacanciers nous reviendrons donc très certainement après les travaux Nous remercions Juan et sa femme pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse

Très bonne location

l'accueil de Juan était chaleureux, il était à disposition durant notre séjour et prend de nouvelles de nous. Le calme, la situation, le logement sans vis à vis, l'emplacement permet de profiter de toute la région... la maison est superbe, on s'y sent très bien, on ne manque de rien, l'équipement est complet, la literie est confortable. La piscine et la maison sont très bien entretenu. L'environnement est superbe, les montagnes, les arbres,... Séjour à refaire et à recommander.

Relaxen tussen de sinaasappel velden in

Heerlijk, ruime villa met veel privacy. Goede bedden, een eigen zwembad en een overdekte BBQ. Juan is een vriendelijke eigenaar die je goed wegwijs maakt in het huisje en de omgeving. Wij zullen hier zeker nog een keer komen.

Estancia muy positiva

La estancia ha sido sensacional. Un lugar ideal para desconectar. Una casa fantastica Con excelente piscina y playas muy buenas. Recomiendo la playa "La cala de Mijas", bandera azul y muy cerca de la casa. Muchas gracias a Juan y su familia, propietarios de la casa, por estar siempre pendiente de nosotros. El trato ha sido sensacional y siempre pendiente de que no nos faltase de nada en ningún momento. El mantenimiento de la piscina excelente.

Dejligt hus i et stille område i udkantet af byen

Vi havde 7 afslappende dage i huset. Vi mødets med vores søde vært som fortalte om huset faciliteter. Huset/pool er velholdt og rent og har stort set alt hvad man har brug for. Der er vifter i alle værelser som fungerer som aircondition. Godt udgangspunkt til at besøge Malaga, Ronda, Mijas og Alhambra. Kan på det varmeste anbefale huset.

Nice location, lovely villa

You need a car to get around, lots to see with easy driving distance to most towns and only 30 minute drive to the beach. The villa was very clean and tidy and the pool was a great temperature.

Our Family Holiday

We arrived at Alhaurin el Grande a couple of hours early, we informed Juan that we were in the area and he couldn't have been more helpful in getting the villa prepared early for us to be able to start our holiday. We had an amazing time, the villa is located in a really quite area and as such is very private. We also took our grown up family with us, together with our 10 month old grandson. I hadn't realised that I hadn't informed HomeAway when booking the villa that we had a baby with us, Juan and Maria went away and brought us back a baby bath and cot within 30 minutes - they bent over backwards to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The walk to the high street isn't far (but it is uphill), where there are lots of places to eat, as well as a supermarket for general shopping, we mainly used the villa's outside kitchen/BBQ area for evening meals and enjoyed the sunsets and star gazing. The villa is really well equipped with all the cooking utensils, you'll ever need. If I had one wish it would have been to have full A/C rather than fans, but that's being very picky and the fact that it was over 40 degs when we visited didn't help. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the villa to friends and family and we will definitely return in the not too distant future! Many thanks for making our visit special Juan/Maria and Freda the Chihuahua for entertaining George.

Amazing stay

Superb, quite and we'll equipped holiday home. Great outdoor space with loads of room around the pool and a BBQ area. Juan did a superb, thorough introduction to the house and the facilities and was always available for questions during our stay. The place comes highly recommended from us.

Excellent villa for young family

We had a wonderful time staying at this well equipped and well presented villa. We took our 10 month old daughter and Juan and Maria were very helpful in supplying a very comfortable cot, high chair and baby bath. They also recommended a good child friendly beach and they couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. The villa had everything we needed including a washing machine and we loved the covered patio which provided shade for our daughter and a great spot for us to watch the beautiful sunset each night. We liked the privacy of the villa's location (you ideally need a car) and the fact that it was still close to shops, restaurants etc we needed (5 minute drive into Alhaurin el Grande). The pool was also an excellent size and great to cool off in after a hot day. Overall, a great place to stay.

Super , des vacances réussies

Nombreux contacts avec le proprietaire avant notre arrivée , la maison était conforme à nos attentes .Très pratique l'annexe avec la salle d'eau et WC et cuisine d'été , car cela évite de rentrer tout mouillé dans la maison en sortant de la piscine.De plus nous avons mis des boissons fraiches et glaces dans le deuxieme frigo congélateur de la cuisine d'été. Le BBQ est très pratique car système pour régler à bonne hauteur la grille sans faire bruler les grillades .Très propre , beaucoup d'attention du propriétaire si nous avions besoin pendant notre séjour . La maison est au calme et le portail électrique est très pratique. Nous avons fait quelques excursions mais avons passé beaucoup de temps à la piscine et de super vacances . Voiture nécessaire .

Lovely villa with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Juan was really helpful throughout

My wife and I stayed with our two children 19 and 18. The villa was perfect and the pool and surrounding area were lovely. It's a nice walk into the town but the villa itself feels remote, which is what we were looking for. Juan and I conversed in French and using google translate which made for some interesting conversations but Juan couldn't have been more helpful. We have stayed in a few villas in recent years and this met all of our expectations.

The perfect place to relax. Simply fabulous.

The orange grove surroundings ensured a quiet and secluded experience. All the facilities were there and were meticulously clean and well maintained. The icing on the cake would have been unlimited wifi, as I'm not used to watching what I use. However, Juan easily extended our limit for a small charge. Pool lights would help those romantic nocturnal swims. Overall we loved our family holiday and would definitely stay again. The owner suggested we enjoy the local festival, it was fabulous! We were facinated by this it was truly spectacular.
