Beautiful and charming attic studio apartment, with separate entrance and located on top of a house between the mountains and the beach.
Fantastic views of sea-mountains and great tranquility.
Ideally located, It has all the amenities, a large terrace and pool. Cabrils is a beautiful town in the middle of the natural park of Serralada Litoral and only 4 km from the beach and 20 km from Barcelona.
Live a break just 25 minutes from Barcelona.
We are at the top of the mountain and it is essential to arrive with our own vehicle to the apartment, although at a short distance by car, you will find bus and train station for if you wish, reach Barcelona
You can rest in a luxurious urbanization and visit the charming villages of the region. Forget the routine, in the Serralada Litoral stroll along its quiet roads and visit one of its famous restaurants.

Hidden Gem

This was my first trip to Barcelona and I could have not found a better place to stay for my visit. Comfortable and cozy with a beautiful view and the absolute best hosts! The hosts were very attentive, easy to communicate with and very cordial. I loved staying here, so much I plan to come back!

Little gem in top of the hill

Everything was nice, clean and the view was spectacular. Monserrat and Jordi were amazing. Jordi recommended some places to eat and view which it was a bonus for our trip. We rented a car at the airport and was the best since the house was at top of the mountain. The roads to get to the apartment was good. I do recommend staying at this property.

Jordi, could not have been kinder. Gave us great recommendations on sites and restaurants and helped us using the trains to get in and out of Barcelona easily. The view from the apartment is spectacular and the quiet surroundings are just fabulous after a busy day in Barcelona or the Costa Brava. A car is a must to stay here but you will not be disappointed. Five Stars For Sure!

Stunning and incomparable view, close to great hikes

Loved the property and the proximity to the local park. The hike to the castle is a must, with steep grades. Check-in and out with Jordi was very flexible and easy, though our stay wasn't bookended by others. His recommendations were spot on- take the train into the city, the hike was great. Private parking, as we had a rental car. The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Full glass front allows you to wake up looking at the sea and basked in the sunrise. We had a 2 year old there, they provided a pack and play for him to sleep, without request. As an observation, the apartment is lovely, and borderline suitable for a toddler- mostly with concern over the balcony railing (large gaps to allow for open viewing, though keep an eye on a toddler) and beautiful bathroom sink and mirrors for decor- this isn't a critique, but something to be aware of if traveling with a small child. That said- we would not have changed a thing about our plans, and would again return with our 2 year old. Many thanks for an excellent experience and kudos on maintaining a gorgeous property.

Incredible location with great host

Nice little apartment but cannot overemphasize the location. First, the balcony with the view of Mediterranean, sunrise, moonrise, the lights below (the wall is a full window if you prefer sitting inside). Second, walk out your door, up the road and on to the mountain trails. My biggest regret was not renting a mountain bike. Third, so easy to drive to the train station on the beach (10 minutes) and get right into Barcelona. Add to that a wonderful host and a very reasonable price and it all made for an excellent week in Spain. Also, secure and easy parking for one car. I would recommend this for a couple although there is also a small loft with a single bed. We did eat in quite a bit but we prepared simple meals (stovetop without an oven, nice little dishwasher and refrigerator- very clean). We were here in January so I didn't use the pool but it was very clean and the yard was beautiful. I plan to return next year.

Amazing place to relax and rejuvenate

My partner and i were looking for a quiet, peaceful get away, far enough from the city for calm, but close enough for activities. The hosts are wonderful with many great suggestions for activities and dining. We plan to come back and book with this host, as the experience was outstanding. 11 out of 10!

Beautiful Cabrils Apartment

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this beautiful apartment nestled high in the hills of Cabrils, from May 30 to June 8. The apartment was spotless, the Mediterranean views breathtaking, and the Vidal family hosts, extremely kind and thoughtful. We highly recommend this property to anyone who loves to relax and enjoy amazing scenery, yet be close (30 minute drive) to the action of Barcelona. We would definitely like to return some day. Wonderful studio apartment with beautiful view

The owners were very welcoming, and very helpful I helping us find our way around the area. The roads up to the apartment are amazingly confusing. I think our GPS (car and phones) gave us different directions every time we arrived and left the apartment. But, that just added to its charm :) The apartment was very clean, perfectly outfitted for our stay. We were there to see the area, so didn't "live" there lot. Really only eating breakfast and packing lunches for the day. But, the deck, view, friendly hosts, beautiful location, proximity to the train to Barcelona, trails to hike above the house, and comfortable platform bed made for perfect accomodations for our Spanish vacation 2018!

Very nice little apartment with great view of the sea!

The apartment is very nice and well equipped. The terrace has a stunning view over Cabrils and the Mediterranean sea. Cabrils is a lovely little town with fine restaurants, few minutes driving to the beaches and half an hour by train to Barcelona.

A Totally Amazing Experience

When my wife and I first booked our flight to Barcelona we assumed we would be staying right down town in the heart of the city. But then we saw this listing. We looked it up on Google maps and at first thought it was too far away, too remote (30 km from Barcelona). It would also mean we would have to rent a car which we didn't think we wanted to do. We continued our search for places in the city and found a few we liked but kept coming back to this apartment in the hills of Cabrils. We looked into the cost of a car rental and found it was very reasonable so we started to search the area of Cabrils to see what was around there. Apart from the breathtaking view, pool and coziness of the apartment we found there were hiking trails into a national park just a short distance away, within walking distance of the unit. We love walking so decided this was where we wanted to stay and booked it. We figured we could drive into the city to see the various land marks. It was the right choice for us! The apartment is set into the hillside far above the town of Cabrils. Cabrils is beautiful, quaint and full of things to see. It has great restaurants and a very authentic Catalan feel since it is not a commercialized area for tourists. We loved the apartment. It was perfect for two. The balcony and the view of the town below and the Mediterranean sea beyond the town was incredible. You never got tired of just looking at the view. The apartment was extremely well equipped having everything we could possibly need. The owner was excellent with the preliminary communications and very helpful with answering any questions we had. He and his wife live in the main part of the house. The apartment has it's own entrance and is essentially separate from the rest of the house. We were extremely happy with the accommodations - 10 out of 10! I guess it all boils down to what kind of vacation you are looking for. If you're looking for lots of people around and parties to go to this is not the place for you. It was very quiet and peaceful and restful which is what my wife and I love. If you like nature, serenity, exploring a beautiful Catalan town and hiking up hills, look no further. Staying here was like a retreat which again isn't for everyone. We still got to see everything in Barcelona we wanted to but at the end of the day got to come back to our home in the hills! Took the train into Barcelona from nearby Vilassar de Mar so didn't even have to drive into the city.

Nice view but moldy smell and broken AC (2.5 Stars)

The location or better the nature around it and the view over the city and the sea is amazing, the host is in general a nice dude, but lied about not knowing about the moldy smell (that smell doesn’t come over night, it takes some time and ignorance)sadly the Room stank extremely, the AC was broken and dripping (probably one of the reasons it smells moldy) and when we arrived there was a puddle of approx. 2-3 Liters of water on the floor next to the bed.

Pas confirme à nos attentes

Très joli appartement,bien équipé , avec une belle terrasse, et une belle vue, bien pour 3-4 jours pour visiter les environs. Florence et Montserrat, nous avions réservé pour neuf nuits et recherchions la vue et le repos mais nous n’avons pas été contentés le quartier est très bruyant.et l’accès à la piscine est limité à la baignade pas de repos ou lecture possible autour de la piscine ( remarque de la propriétaire si trop longtemps à la piscine) notre espace et limité à l’appartement avec un parasol .. sans ombre ni nature.. en bref c’est beverly Hills en moins bien.. nous nous sommes trompés !

Ein Traum!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und traumhaft gelegen. Sie ist perfekt, wenn man sich entspannen und erholen möchte, aber auch zwischendurch kurz nach Barcelona rein will. Die Gastgeber sind unheimlich nett und sehr diskret. Zusammenfassend haben wir uns wirklich wohl gefühlt, empfehlen die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter und freuen uns aufs nächste Mal.

Beautiful Cabrils, beautiful apartment.

Our stay was exactly what we need a beautiful area and an amazing apartment and hosts. The area is quiet and you feel as though you are looking over the whole of Cabrils and Barcelona, with the elevated position and views. It’s a Train or car ride to Barcelona and pretty much equal distance to the F1 race track over the other side of the mountain, with a lovely National park situated right behind the property, thank you for our stay, we will be back.
