Summer Holiday

Lovely property couped well with the very hot conditions. The views from the balcony were fabulous. Our host Isabel could not have been more helpful, lovely lady.

Gorgeous relaxing villa

We had a great time at this villa with our 2 teenage sons. Very comfortable beds, effective air conditioning, and the most beautiful pool. The boys approved the WiFi too! I hadn’t quite realised that one of the two bathrooms is at the end of the pool next to the BBQ area. The local area is great - took about 30 minutes to drive into Malaga (beautiful city with lots to see). We also drove to Ronda which is amazing, and to the zoo at Fuengirola.

A wonderful holiday!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and spent three wonderful weeks at this amazing property. The villa and pool area is beautiful and the views are just stunning. The villa is very well equipped , the beds super comfortable and very effective air conditioning. The swinging chair on the veranda is so relaxing, with a great breeze. The pool was a fantastic size and the whole area brilliant. The villa is very well situated and an easy drive from Malaga airport on flat roads. We had hired a car and during our stay we visited Marbella, Fuengirola, Mijas Pueblo, Cala de Mijas, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Alhaurin de la Torre, Alhaurin el Grande and Malaga Old Town. Within walking distance is a great restaurant where we ate dinner a few times. Nearby, around 12 minutes or so drive is Alhaurín el Grande with a great range of restaurants. We were lucky to be there on Ascension Day and saw a wonderful procession. A special mention must go to Isabel who is so lovely and caring, you feel that she really wants to make sure that you are having a good holiday. She is always available and when I'd asked her a question about kayaking, she even made a phone call for me to check something which was so thoughtful. Isabel's father comes early every morning to clean and check the pool but you would never know as he doesn't disturb you at all. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely book this villa again if we are planning to stay in this area of Spain again. It was easy to have a fantastic holiday. Thank you so much Isabel and family.

Beautiful Villa

Isabel’s Villa at Alhaurin De La Torre far out passed our expectations. As much as the online photos give a very good impression of what to expect from the interior and external areas of the property it is not until you enter the gate the full beauty of this Villa, its location, view and most of all the pool area gave us all that wow factor. You are only 20 minutes’ drive from Malaga Airport but you have the feeling you have total isolation, situated out in the country with uninterrupted views back down to Malaga. The Villa is secure with electric gates with ample parking for probably three cars without any problem, we had two cars. The Villa is well equipped and had everything we needed. The fixture and fittings are of a very high quality. Isabel’s Farther keeps the pool and the grounds immaculate and is in and out first thing in the morning. You are only a 10 minute drive from the shops. Knowing that Isabel was only a phone call away if required gave us that added feeling of being fully supported. Isabel made us feel most welcome and gave us a comprehensive tour of all the amenities and equipment and could not have done more to make us welcome. We have stayed at a few villa rentals now but this Villa had absolutely no negatives for us. I would not hesitate in booking this Villa again if looking to stay in this area of Spain again. Thank you Isabel and Family.

Loved it! Could have stayed another 2 weeks!

Villa is amazing - all facilities you could need and spotlessly clean. Considering rebooking for next year. Definitely need a hire car but within approximately half an hour you can visit Malaga, Marbella, Torremolinos, Benalmádena. WiFi didn’t glitch once - even with all 3 kids on their phones! Air Con in every room - thank goodness! Fly screen on windows also useful. Couldn’t fault it! Owners left us to it and provided both pool and bathroom towels.

Beautiful villa with breathtaking views

Five friends and I stayed in this villa for 7 nights in June 2018 and it was absolutely wonderful. Isabel gave us fantastic communication before we arrived in Malaga and throughout. When she realised we would be arriving earlier than anticipated, she arranged for her parents to be there to greet us. We arrived at the villa and Isabel's parents greeted us, and gave us a tour of the villa. Note: they only speak Spanish. They had left us water and a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. Juan, Isabel's father, was an absolute angel: he offered to drive us to the nearest shop (10 minute drive) as we didn't have a car and waited in the carpark while we did our shopping. He then did the same thing 4 days later which was so incredibly useful and kind. We had a couple of issues during the week with the water being turned off (due to road works nearby) and also the shower leaking. This was annoying, but I texted Isabel and on both occasions Juan came quickly to the villa to do anything he could to help e.g. fixing the shower/taking us to the shop to get water. Juan also came to the villa everyday early in the morning to clean the pool area. The villa is stunning. All three bedrooms were spacious with nice beds and well-maintained and very clean. The kitchen is quite small but okay with loads of cutlery, crockery, utensils and glasses which was really useful as we ate most meals in. The bathroom is really nice which a huge shower and there is also another smaller bathroom with a shower in the garden near the pool. The lounge and dining area is also lovely. If you want to eat out most nights, then a car is necessary. We spent most of our time outside in the beautiful pool area. The dining table outside is great, as is the swinging chair and the veranda. There is a day bed which is amazing with beautiful views and 6 sun loungers with cushions and a parasol. The pool is the highlight of the villa: it is huge, nice temperature and just so beautiful. It's surrounded by palm trees and we just loved it. There is also a BBQ outside which we made full use of. The garden goes down quite far with lots of trees growing all sorts of fruits etc which was pretty too. The views of the villa are astounding from dusk until dawn, and the local area is nice too. There is a small shop with essentials about a 10 minute walk and a couple of restaurants too. We didn't have a car so didn't venture out much, but the villa gave us so much satisfaction we didn't need one!

The accommodation was very clean and well presented with ample room for a family of 5. There is a lovely outside eating area and a very nice swing chair which was popular with our family. As we were there during July the weather was hot and sunny but being up on a hill there was a pleasant breeze. The pool is nice and well looked after. There was a lovely view over the valley with the sea in the distance. The property is easily accessible from Malaga airport but you definitely need a car to get around. Isabel was friendly and helpful and Juan's tortilla delicious. We would be happy to go back again.

Très belle location

Très bon accueil de la part d'Isabel et de son petit Martin , 3 belles chambres, petite cuisine mais avec l'essentiel , très grand téléviseur, à l'extérieur magnifique piscine, coin barbecue, les extérieurs et la piscine sont entretenus tôt le matin par le papa d'Isabel ,vue magnifique sur Malaga et les environs depuis la terrasse. Isabel hat uns sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Pool ist super und wurde viel genutzt. Distanz zum Meer leider etwas weit, aber dennoch alles mit dem Auto gut erreichbar! Sicht auf Malaga am Abend wunderbar! Wir haben die Sommer-Verlängerung sehr genossen!

Superbes vacances

Isabel est très accueillante, elle a toujours le sourire c’est agréable d’être reçu ainsi. Surtout que la pauvre a dû gérer notre français et les quelques mots d’anglais et d’espagnol que nous savons. La maison est fonctionnelle et le point fort de cette maison est sans aucun doute le jardin, qui font de cet endroit un cocon paradisiaque. Les photos reflètent bien la réalité. De plus tout est très propre. Le papa d’Isabelle passe tous les jours pour la piscine, mais il est très discret et ne l’avons jamais vu. La vue est magnifique et vous êtes au calme. La maison est parfaite

La vue est magnifique sur la baie de Malaga, La piscine est très agréable et au centre de la maison. La terrasse ombragée permet de se reposer du soleil. Il y a une climatisation dans chaque chambre et dans le salon. La cuisine est petite, mais suffisante car vous passez ma journée dehors. Les lits sont agréables. Vraiment rien à redire sur cette maison à 20 minutes de Malaga.

Supervakantie!

Mooie villa op een mooie plek met uitzicht over dal en Malaga. Geweldige tuin en zwembad je waant je in het paradijs. Binnen in de villa is bijna alles aanwezig. De gastvrouw en familie zijn heel service gericht er was gezorgd voor voorzieningen voor ons kleinkind van 1. Enige minpuntje er was geen snijplank aanwezig. (Verbeterpunt voor nieuwe gasten.) Een echte aanrader….

Super séjour ! Maison sans vis à vis !

Beautiful Piece of Paradise

Our stay at this beautiful property was magical. The villa was very clean and comfortably sleeps 6 adults which includes a pull out sofa in the living room. After a 10 day stay, we now call host Isabel and her family our friends. They are delightful, warm, personable and extremely helpful to their guests. During our stay, they installed a brand new King size bed, a new dishwasher and provided a new electric kettle. The pool is immaculate and sparkling and combined with the beautiful gardens and landscape offers a private and peaceful respite from the hustle & bustle of life. I miss hearing the birds singing and seeing the butterflies hovering over the colorful flowers. I would highly recommend a car as the property is nestled in the hills in a small village between two towns (both a few km away). Access on foot or bicycle to the towns is not an option. I’m not sure about local bus services. The villa is about 25 mins drive from Torremolinos and Malaga city. I found drivers to be very respectful and non-aggressive and driving was no issue for me. There are multiple roundabouts in Spain - the safest option is to enter on the outside lane & exit on the outside lane (per Spanish law). My family really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon! Thank you Isabel for everything 😀
