Quiet farm setting with 10 minutes walk to beach.

The host although living in Italy was very gracious and accommodating. The property was not as clean as we are used to, but it had a beautiful backyard sitting area where we ate all our meals. We did a lot of walking and it would be optimal to have a car to get to closest grocery store in Finous. The bakery in Posidonia was excellent and the owner practiced his English on us. He helped us with locating the property and booking a taxi. The beach was a ten minute walk down a dried up river bed with goats, geese, cats and dogs along the route. Also, a variety of gardens. This listing is a nice and relaxing rural property. Thanks Lucia.

Charmante maison proche de la mer

Excellent accueil de Lucia au sein de cette petite maison et son jardin fleuri. 10 min à pied de la plage, idem de l arrêt de bus permettant de sillonner toute l ile...un régal!

La plus charmante des propriétaires

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans la maison de Lucia qui est située dans l'endroit que nous préférons de Syros (où nous sommes restés presqu'un mois). La relation qui s'est établie avec Lucia a été d'une rare qualité, son attention et sa générosité à tous égards nous a infiniment touchés. Merci encore Lucia, nous souhaitons très sincèrement que nous puissions un jour nous rencontrer.

VACANZE FAVOLOSE A SYROS

Casa consigliatissima. Abbiamo passato delle bellissime vacanze nella casa di lucia. La casa era pulitissima e l'accoglienza perfetta.La casa rispecchia esattamente le foto sul sito, anzi è ancora più bella.Siamo stati assistiti da lucia dall'arrivo alla ha partenza.Lucia ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni per vivere al meglio la nostra vacanza, cosi abbiamo risparmiato molto tempo. L'isola è molto bella, c'è anche un attrezzatissimo ospedale, una riproduzione della scala di Milano dove c'è un ricco programma di manifestazioni e concerti tutta l'estate. SYROS unisce bellezza, cultura e la tranquillità delle bellissime spiagge, l'ospitalità della gente fa il resto. Grazie Lucia torneremo senz'altro, è stata una vacanza indimenticabile. Siamo andati ma ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore.

Super Urlaub

Waren letztes Jahr für 2,5 Wochen in dem Haus. Wir können nur sagen Top!! und das obwohl wir zu Dritt waren. Alle 3 Verandas luden zu jeder Zeit zum verweilen ein. Haus war sehr gepflegt und die Küche hatte alles zu bieten, selbst das was man nicht erwartet hätte (zb Mixer). Im Wohn-und Schlafzimmer je eine Klimaanlage dazu noch Ventilatoren an der Decke. Also für Abkühlung war gesorgt. Garten war sehr gemütlich, haben uns noch eine Außendusche gebaut was dem garten den letzten kick gegeben hat. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit entweder über Tel. oder über Gianni der das Haus vor Ort betreute. Die Strände im Umkreis von 2 Km waren die besten der Insel und Null überlaufen. So konnte man total entspannen. Und die kleine Kneipe gegenüber war super, gutes Essen, nette Bedienungen und man hatte sofort Kontakt mit den Einheimischen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, DANKE für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Charming European Cottage in a Small Town

This place has a lot of European charm and style. It's located in a small town, walkable to a cafe, restaurant, two beachfronts, bakery, and vegetable stand - most of which close by 2pm daily. While you may not need a vehicle for your entire stay, it is highly recommend (almost a must) to have one for some time. It's not easy to bike around the hills of Syros, and the supermarket, other beachfronts, and restaurants are quite the walk away. It's a great place for a relaxing vacation; however, I would warn guests that, if you are American, it may not meet your standards. The kitchen is quite tight on space, with very old pots/pans as well as a temperamental stovetop. During our stay, we had many many issues with the water heater in the bathroom - although the owner was incredibly nice and timely in trying to get things fixed which we appreciated. Finally, the living area has a tiny CRT television, which barely works (we could not get much on it) and two uncomfortable couches oddly situated on the sides of the dining area. In short, you will get a European cottage feel here more so than an American luxury feel. Choose wisely.

Wonderfull and relaxing hollidays in posidonia

We spent geat days in lucia's house in posidonia, we could go for a walk in the mountains or to the beach in only a few minutes, the house was perfect for us, and has a quiet and cute garden with a lemon tree where our child enjoyed a lot. The house was clean and very beautifully decorated. The kitchen is new and spacious, and there is a nice terrace on the roof with wonderfull views! We hope we will come back soon¡

Wir hatten einen wunderb...

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in Posidonia.Das Haus ist bequem und sehr schoehn und sauber.Die Besitzerin ist sehr net und verfuegbar und hat uns auch fuer die Reiseorganisation geholfen.Die Kueche ist neu und funktionel. Das Schlafzimmer hat einen grossen Schrank fuer die Kleider.Das Haus hat einen gepflegten Garten mit Blumen, einen Citronenbaum und Trauben die man essen kann ende August-September. Hinten am Haus ist eine Veranda wo man essen kann. Die Terrasse oben am Haus ist wunderbar,man kann in relax essen mit den Sonnenuntergang, man sieht auch das Meer (Zwei Liegestuehle, ein Tisch mit Stuehle).Vor dem Haus ist eine Veranda mit Blumen und eine wunderbare Bucanville. Das Haus befindet sich in Dorf Posidonia und ist ca 500 mt vom Meer entfernt.Das Leben ist sehr einfach,die Einwohner sind sehr hospitel. Die Busshaltestelle ist 100 mt vom Haus entfernt und man kann alle Doerfer erreichen.Wir werden naechsten Jahr wieder kommen, 4 Tagen sind zu wenig fuer ein Urlaub in Syros. Die Besitzerin spricht deutsch und ist sehr hilfbereit.

Petite maison pittoresque...

Petite maison pittoresque, située au bord de la route principale, non loin de l'église et de la mairie. Les plages de sable sont accessibles à pied (10/15 minutes de marche). La terrasse côté jardin est très agréable, couverte d'une vigne. Citronnier, jasmin et laurier dans le jardin. Ideal pour ceux qui ne cherchent pas de location standard. L'équipement est celui d'une maison de propriétaire, renouvelé partiellement au fil des ans. Convient à un couple ou une famille avec 2 enfants. La propriétaire parle plusieurs langues et aide volontier à négocier une location de voiture p. ex., indispensable pour faire les courses à Finikas, le village voisin. Le supermarché de Posidonia a fermé, mais il reste une boulangerie. Point négatif: la proximité de la rue, parfois un peu bruyante.

Was für ein Albtraum! ...

Was für ein Albtraum! Im Juni habe ich das Haus für 9 Tage gemietet. Zusammengefasst ist es alt, abgewohnt, ungepflegt und sehr sehr einfach ausgestattet. Es liegt direkt an einer ziemlich stark frequentierten Straße, viel Durchgangsverkehr von morgens 6:30 - abends 22 Uhr und somit ist fast ständig Verkehrslärm. Die Terrasse vor dem Haus kann man wegen des Autoverkehrs nicht nutzen, die Dachterrasse ist völlig verstaubt und ebenso laut, die Terrasse hinter dem Haus hat eine schöne Weinrebe als Sonnenschutz und ist etwas ruhiger. Der Garten ist ziemlich ungepflegt mit etlichem Gerümpel. Im Haus stehen im Wohn/Eßzimmer zwei alte fleckige Sofas und Tisch und Stühle, die Küche ist einfachst ausgestattet mit alten angebrochenen Lebensmitteln im Schrank. Das Bad ist ebenso einfachst und altmodisch, Putzeimer mit alten Lappen stehen herum, der ehemals hellblaue Duschvorhang ist unten bereits dunkelbraun. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein bequemes Doppelbett, Schränke, die nicht zusammenpassen und ebenso etliches Gerümpel auf dem Schrank. Meerblick wie auf den Bildern gibt es vom Haus aus nicht, die Bushaltestelle ist ca. 10 min. zu Fuß entfernt. Ein Urlaub dort ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Leuk wit Grieks huisje

"Wij hebben een maand in dit leuke Griekse huis gelogeerd. Het is een schoon goed onderhouden huis met een dakterras, zodat je heerlijk van de avondzon kunt genieten. Voor en achter het huis is ook een terras om te zitten. Het ligt wel aan een doorgaande weg maar de omgeving is mooi en het huis ligt niet in een toeristisch dorp. Tegenover het huis is een taverne die helaas nog niet open was toen wij er waren. Je hebt wel eigen vervoer bv. auto of scooter nodig om ergens te komen, hoewel een wandeling 's avonds naar Finikas om er te gaan eten prima te doen was. Onze keus voor dit huis ws een goede."

"Ho soggiornto nella casa di Lucia. La casa è ideale per due persone molto carina perfetta per una località di mare. La spiaggia più vicina dista circa 600metri. Dista 1km dalla spiaggia più bella dell''isola(a mio parere). La Sig. Lucia (padrona di casa) è stata molto diponibile, seria e precisa, ci ha dato dritte e consigli su luoghi tipici posti dove mangiare spiagge da visitare e ci ha offerto il suo aiuto per qualunque richiesta/problema. Unica pecca il gallo del vicino che ogni notte intorno alle 3.30 cominciava a cantare senza più smettere :) (problema facilemte risolvibile dormendo con la finestra chiusa)"

"Charmante petite maison,...

"Charmante petite maison, typique de l'architecture cycladique, avec une terrasse et un jardin où les enfants peuvent jouer après la baignade ! Posidonia, hameau très calme, avec une boulangerie et une supérette,se situe à cinq minutes en voiture des plages et à vingt minutes d'Ermoupoli, où il fait bon flâner sur le port ou dans les rues le soir. La maison est très agréable à vivre, une chambre pour les parents, deux enfants peuvent dormir dans le salon équipé de deux canapés. Et, petit plus non négligeable, une excellente taverne se situe juste en face de la maison, où l'on sert une délicieuse cuisine grecque. Vacances réussies garanties !"

"Althought we were guests at Lucia's cousin Jannis it was very satisfying. Our neighbours were quiet, very helpful family with perfect grandparents. We felt like at home or even better. We were with our daughter and sometimes we were missing playground. As long as we hadn't idea where we particularly go before - we saw some pictures of the place only - we were amazed how one can relax and enjoy with beautiful seaview, coziness and perfect tidiness. We felt very safe and are very appreciative of the help of the Luccia's family."

"Las vacaciones en Poseid...

"Las vacaciones en Poseidonia, son inolvidables para qualquiera pareja, personas, familia con niños. No solamente es un sitio mas pacifico y tranquilo, tambien la gente es muy amable, amistosa y cariñosa. Poseidonia es uno de los principales pueblos en el sur de Syros, la vista desde el techo de la casa es parasadiaco... Facilidad total de acceso a toda isla, con autobuses(parada se encuentra en 100 m.desde la casa), alquiler de coche o motocar (es tipico alli) en seguente pueblo desde Poseidonia. en unos 50m. hay un kiosco con refrescos, helados etc., un poco mas adelante una Panaderia y SuperMarket con comida, tabaco y todas las cosas tipicas. Las playas alrededor son 4, puedes elegir; si quieres paz y calma, si quieres jugar al tenis con los niños, si quieres esconderte en un sitio mas tranquilo y romantico. Es autentica preciosidad! En la casa nos encontramos todo lo que necesita para entar y no preocupar de comprar las cosas basicas - en la cocina, en el baño , en dormitorio (cama matrimonio, bastante comoda...) con muchisimo cuidado en todo. En salon hay un TV con Satelite que puedes ver hasta 1000 canales en varias idiomas! La dueña siempre nos prestaba mucho atencion por todo lo que nesecitamos, nos ha facilitado la mapa de todos los sitios y telefonos de la Isla, siempre estaba atenta en como estamos de bien! Muchisimas gracias, Lucia, por tu amabilidad y atencion! Te lo agradesemos con todo corazon! Es realmente un paraiso, lo recomiendo a toda la gente que quieren tener unos vacaciones maraviosos!
