It is a detached house and ground floor, located in the historical heart of Granada, is rented for days. Just 3 minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Cuesta de Gomerez (pedestrian access Alhambra). Going down the street are tapas bars, restaurants and all shops. Situated in a pedestrian street, no noise. Optional parking available on the same street 50 meters from the house. Comfortable stay in Granada

We enjoyed the comfortable accommodations in this lovely home. It is conveniently located, and we had a very pleasant stay. Th owner is attentive and very kind.

Location Location!

The apartment is in the heart of Granada, yet tucked away on a pedestrian only quiet street. Walk along the river to the Alhambra and up the hillside to the Albeicin neighborhood where you can see a beautiful sunset. Find a terrace restaurant with views of the Alhambra or catch a Flamenco show. Pre-purchase your tickets for the Alhambra with a tour guide in advance. This was my favorite region to visit in Spain!

Well equipped flat on a hill!

This flat is located up a hill on a pedestrian street. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We could walk to Alhambra, and all the sites in the city.

Great location

A nice apartment in a great location. The host was really nice and communicative even though she didn’t speak English. She showed us all the spots to see on the city map. Also came by when we checked out. It’s a noisy neighborhood but what you might expect in such a good location. We enjoyed the outdoor patio.

Pros: Nice owner, good location, clean, has kitchen, comfortable but very small bed Cons: Poor directions need updating which we explained, took hours to find, very hard to drive to especially at night — use the WAZE app if you can, small (but comfortable) bed, fits one average sized woman, spouse slept on pullout sofa, very strong deodorizer used to mask sewage smell in bathroom, needed to use space heaters in November.

An incredible host and casa in Granada!

We couldn’t recommend this place more! Emilia is so kind and welcoming, and gave us great recommendations of how to spend our short time in Granada. When our rental car was larger than we expected, she helped coach us through how to get it in and out of the parking garage - we couldn’t have done it without her. We highly recommend staying with her and can’t wait to visit again.

Cozy apartment, centrally located

This is a cozy apartment, with character, located in the heart of the tourist district. Easy to access all the major attractions. Added bonus is a sweet, shady patio surrounded by plants. Emilia is a charming hostess who gave an extensive primer on Granada.

THE place to stay in Granada

The location was perfect…walking distance from everything in the center of the city including the Alhambra. Our host met us at the bus stop by the catedral and walked us to the apartment. She was able to show us on a map how to get to places we wanted to visit . The bed is comfortable, the shower was wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. The small patio in front gave us a private space for morning breakfast and evening wine. The windows provided great breezes in the evening and overnight so we never needed a fan. We would definitely stay here again!

In the hills of Granada

We were delighted with Emilia who made everything happen. The apartment is located on a walking street so if you’re bringing a lot of stuff be prepared for shutting your luggage.

Great location!

The location could not have been better! Parking the car in Emilia’s garage was quite an experience and worth using her place rather than someplace on the street. We used Google maps and it took us right to the place through some very narrow and interesting streets after the tunnel. Emilia was a great host and told us about the market and we had an early dinner there of fresh fish. We were able to communicate via translation apps! We had planned a trip in 2020 and had to cancel and rebooked March 2023 with her. The place was offered for a very fair price and she was a wonderful host!

1 Bedroom, in historic Barrio Realejo Jewish Quarter.

My stay was from January 2nd to January 6th, 2020. Despite a language barrier, my limited Spanish and Emilia's limited English, with a little patience and perseverance, we were able to communicate effectively. Kindness always helps to resolve such matters, which Emilia has an abundance. The apartment is great. A nice patio, an efficient living/dining room combination. Galley kitchen. Space heaters for chilly winter nights kept the apartment warm and cozy. The bedroom was very comfortable. The water was nice and hot in the kitchen and bathroom. Emilia provided advice and recommendations on a map she provided. My 3 full days in Granada I enjoyed sunny weather with comfortable afternoon temperatures. Not too bad for a winter getaway. I rented a Fiat 500 compact and it fit perfectly in the garage space Emilia provides as an option. The parking space is best for smaller cars. I highly recommend Emilia's apartment and the wonderful opportunities it allows for exploring spectacular Granada. Thanks Emilia! Michael R. Pittsburgh, PA USA

Beautiful Granada

Emilia was a wonderful and kind host! She took great care to give us a map and show us where to go and not to go. The house is perfectly located to the maybe 6 min walk to the Alhambra and the old town city center! Every thing is within walking distance and easy to get to!! Loved are stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Gracias Emilia!

Right near everything! She was so nice and welcoming and did a great job orienting us to Granada. The Alhambra is about a ten minute walk. Would definitely stay again!

Good location

Good location, easy walking to shops , restaurants and some attractions. Granada is a nice place to visit. There really is no parking unless you pay for it. Manager doesn’t understand English , but she tries her beast to help. Wifi is not a secure network.

The place itself was beautiful, cozy, and very clean. However, the owner made us feel incredibly uncomfortable and truly made our stay unpleasant. I booked the stay at Central District Property ID 6294109 for Saturday, July 20th - Monday, July 22nd. Only two individuals would be staying at her house; my friend (Alexandra) and myself. Our other friend (Jessica) who speaks and understands Spanish rather well, translated for me or spoke directly with the owner using WhatsApp, as I added Jessica to my group message with the owner. Jessica was staying at her host family's house 10 minutes from this property. The owner accused us of lying to her because of the fact that Jessica came to check-in with us and accused Jessica of trying to stay at the property as well. We asked Jessica to come with us to translate everything as the owner did not speak or understand English and we did not speak or understand Spanish. We made that clear. The owner was also incredibly rude to us, especially Jessica​ because there was confusion regarding check-in time. Although Jessica speaks Spanish well, it is not her first language and she misunderstood what the owner said. Jessica apologized for the confusion but the owner still verbally attacked Jessica and said that she would have eyes on us at all times, she doesn't trust us, and that she would make surprise visits whenever she pleased. She made us so uncomfortable to the point that we would have left and stayed somewhere else if we had not already paid. The entire time, Alexandra and I, were worried people were spying on us, about her barging in, and that we were going to be told to leave at any given moment. It was a terrible experience.

Great Granada Experience

Location is great but can be tricky to find. The owner provided parking but the stall can only accommodate a very small car. The owner welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed then took some time to point out the local attractions on a map she gave us.

Emilia is by far the best host we’ve met among all cities/countries visited. She met us outside the apartment, which is located at street level, on time. Very charming, clean and comfortable. Street is very quiet, yet so close (less than 1 block) to Plaza Nueva and to Alhambra. Highly, highly recommended. Exactly what you need in Granada. Best VRBO we’ve ever had

Open the iron gates from a carless road and enter Emilia's patio garden sanctuary. Then enter her beautiful well equipped apartment. Emelia has thought of everything you need. The apartment is exactly like the pictures and more. This is honestly the best VRBO we have been to. And Emilia is by far the best hostess. The Spanish/English barrier between us was not a problem. She spent a lot of time telling us about what to do while in Barcelona and came to say goodbye!!! We will return to Granada! I am telling all our friends and you should go there before she realizes she should charge more!!! Now tou need to stop reading this and get tickets to tour Alhambra or you will miss out. Go to the Moorish baths and Dinner/Flamenco show on Sacremonte

Perfect location for Alhambra visit. Overnight stay in Granada

Great two day stay in Granada made possible by fantastic owner/agent who goes well above what is reasonable to make your stay in "her" city enjoyable. Emilia provided me with maps and information on where to eat, what to see and how to best use my time to visit the city. I feel that because of this, we were able to get the most out of Granada. What a great city to visit. Em also meet us at the bus stop and walked us to the unit and oriented us to downtown as we moved to the rental. The location is located just a block away from Cuesta de Gomerez which is the main walking route to The Alhambra. Location is also very close to bus 30 and another one that takes up straight up and down. The apartment has a full kitchen that is well equipped. We didn't use it. Bathroom is spot on. Plenty of hot water with good pressure. Sleeping arrangements are perfect. Place is located in OLD section of town off a very quiet street that only sees locals. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to spend a day or two in Granada. The owner/agent makes the apartment a fantastic opportunity and value.

Great little place!

Emilia was an excellent hostess and a great help during our stay in Granada (especially with the parking...;)) Her guest house was perfect for our 3-4 day stay. My only complaint was the size of the bed and pillows. Could use an upgrade. The bed was a bit to small for my liking and a double bed was too cramped for me and my mom to share. I ended up sleeping on the hard but roomy couch in the living room. No big deal. The two single pillows were also not very good quality, however there is a large long pillow on the bed to use. Other than this everything else was in good condition.
