Wonderful stay in neighborhood near Barcelona

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment outside the city. It was a really cool neighborhood with lots of options for food, market and grocery. Super easy access to the metro to get into the city. We had lots of fun!

Great place for a family

This property is a great place for a family to stay. I stayed for a week with my two children and it was so nice to have space to ourselves, yet a common area to eat dinner and hang out. The neighborhood is great. Stores and restaurants are literally right around the corner. We felt safe in the neighborhood walking around during the day and in the evenings. The neighborhood has graffitti, don't let that put you off! Graffiti is in many urban areas around the world. In this neighborhood you will see families, mothers walking their children to school, children playing futbol in the streets, friends meeting and having a few drinks at the local cafes. It's about a 20 minute or so Metro ride from many of the tourist areas. Well worth the stay.

Immersed in a great neighborhood setting!

We really enjoyed our stay, as this was in a suburb of Barcelona (Badalona) where we were able to experience the day-to-day activity of the community and had shopping/markets/restaurants right around the corner. We were also a short walk from the train to the downtown area. The train was much cheaper than Uber rides, but Uber was available for the trips to the airport at 3 a.m. Probably would have ridden the train more in the beginning if we had checked it out sooner. Ubers only take up to four people and we had 5, so the Ubers for 5 to 6 people are not always around. Had a great experience going to see the "Flamenco" dance/show downtown. A wonderful experience going to the beach on the Mediterranean, and up on the mountaintop to the fort. So much great history and architecture. Also took the high speed train to Madrid and did a bus tour there. Quite the great memories created with our family, and it was ALWAYS nice to come home to a safe, clean apartment that gave us all we needed to enjoy this trip. Very clean unit with comfortable beds. Enough space for everyone to spread out and have their own area and privacy. Tankless hot water heater meant that we never ran out of hot water with showers for 5 people. Power went out once, but owners were available to tell us how to reset the circuit breakers and never had an issue after that. Great people and easy to check in and communication was great! We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back to Spain.

Amazing stay

It was an amazing stay at this apartment! The nearest station is only 10 min away and metro will get you to the Barcelona city centre in only 12 minutes. The apartment is very clean and spacious. recommend it 100% percent!

All you need to visit Barcelona

Very nice apartment in a family friendly neighborhood. Very clean and equipped with everything you need to find yourself home. Walking distance to metro stations. There are two bakeries down the street, supermarkets and pharmacies on the way to the metro stations. We enjoyed our stay there and the marvelous city of Barcelona. Thank you !

Badalona una experiencia única

El lugar está ubicado cerca de una carretera comercial peatonal, cuenta con excelentes restaurantes, cafés, colmados, todo a pasos del lugar. La estación de metro está a pocos minutos caminando. El lugar es muy acogedor y el utilizar la lavadora fue un plus en nuestra experiencia futbolística.

Clean, great place in Barcelona

Fantastic place, very comfortable and within walking distance to two metro stations. Loved staying here and would stay again in a heartbeat! It is a bit "out of town" but with the Metro, it was no problem. You can be in the heart within 15-20 minutes. Wonderful stay!!

Soccer camp

My 2 boys, hubby, and I stayed in Badalona because it was close to the soccer camp they were to participate in. Location was great in terms of distance from camp but, if you plan to rent a car like we did, parking is a nightmare! If you don’t plan to have a rental car then no problem…..metro a 7 min walk, bus a 2 min walk……gym a 7 min walk, bank 2 min walk, restaurants 1 block over, and small grocery stores every where. The hosts were wonderful! The washer was not working properly so they ended up purchasing a new one so we wouldn’t have to be without one for a few days ( w 2 boys in soccer camp we did a load every day!). Would definitely stay in same place next time we go!

Our stay went well. For folks interested in the old city of Barcelona, this is a little far away, but with two metro stations a ten minute walk that was easily overcome. Riding the metro was actually interesting.

Clean, large & comfortable apartment

The hosts are great! Friendly and full of advice. The apartment was perfect for our family of 2 adults & 2 children. It was a loud neighbourhood but this may have just been because of the Sant Joan celebrations. We found it handy to get to Barcelona by metro. We didn't like the location too much (seemed dirty and a bit rundown) & felt a little unsafe at night if out & about. It suited our budget though and we appreciated the cleanliness and size of the apartment. Many thanks!

Great location for an authentic Barcelona experience!

The apartment was perfectly situated outside the noisy touristy areas but very close to everything via the Metro. The neighborhood is lovely the locals are very friendly and helpful. The apartment was quite tidy and had everything we needed. Maribel and her husband were very attentive and answered all questions promptly. We would definitely book again!

Great place to stay

The apartment was clean and spacious. Maribel and Vidal were gracious hosts. Met us with keys and info about the place and left there number in case we needed anything. It sits near two metro stations, very convenient. Stores and restaurants nearby as well. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to beautiful Barcelona.

Nice apartment, good connection to Barcelona

The apartment is very nice, we liked it a lot, only the bathroom is a bit small, but it was ok for a week. It is well equipped and well connected to the city centre (2 metro stations in vicinity), there are also some shops around. We didn’t meet the owner, but her husband vas very friendly and gave us a lot of information. The only thing I can criticize, is that the previous guests hadn’t cleaned the apartment very well, for example there were still hair in the bathroom (the cleaning has to be done by the visitors, so I don’t blame the owners).

The place was good and clean and owners were nice and helpful We got there earlier than expected and even neighbors in the complex tried to help us by contacting the owner The metro (subway) was close by (10 minutes walk) so we used it every day to get to down town Barcelona There are stores around if you need to do shopping There is a little bit of odor from the kitchen sink and shower is small and street noise easily comes to the unit however We will book the place if you go back to Barcelona

Nice appartment, nice hosts. Everything went well. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Close, about 10 min walk from the metro. It takes about 40 min to get to the city center but we liked that we lived in a quiet area. I do recommend this place for a short or long term stay.

Appartement spacieux, bien situé pour visiter Barcelone, avec le métro à proximité. Proche des commerces aussi. Pratique mais bruyant

Le logement est situé dans une banlieue populaire accessible en métro, ce qui est assez pratique. Le gros point noir est le bruit. L'appartement est un parfait pied à terre, bien équipé, fonctionnel, mais pas du tout fait pour se reposer. L'immeuble est très bruyant, et l'appartement n'est pas du tout isolé, donc on vit et dort au rythme de la rue :)

Eine super Zeit in einer sehr schönen Ferienwohnung

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit Vollausstattung in super Lage!Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und für eine Familie mit zwei Teenagern ideal! Jeder hatte sein eigenes Zimmer und WLAN gab es auch ! Der Vermieter war super freundlich und wir konnten sogar ohne zusätzliche Kosten bis zum Nachmittag bleiben, da unser Flug erst am Abend ging! Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

Séjour à Badalona

Appartement spacieux et lumineux. Bien équipé. Hôte très réactif à nos différentes requêtes et flexible sur les heures d’arrivée et de départ. Près des transports en commun et à 20 minutes minimum des premiers sites à visiter à Barcelone. Un petit bémol sur la propreté, le propriétaire devrait prévoir une société de nettoyage. Bon séjour en général.
