Perfect location

Wonderful spot! Couldn’t have asked for a better location, we really really love this neighborhood. Communication with Ritta and Albane was easy - our plane was changed three times and they were able to accommodate our arriving 20 hours past the expected time.

Wonderful property!

The owners greeted us at the door and took a tour of the house with us. The atmosphere was wonderful and we enjoyed sitting at the windows at night people watching. Bed was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked.

The location could not be better! Wonderful this flat opens to the park down below. So nice to be able to open all the windows and doors and have fresh air and actually quiet! The beds are comfy and the shower is good.

A beautiful property in the perfect location to visit Paris and enjoy Montmartre.

Close to the Metro and a very short walk to the Sacre Couer. Riitta’s apartment has everything we needed and is beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay.

Six Stars

This is a magnificent property. Don’t miss your opportunity to rent it if it is available. The apartment is spacious and well appointed, and near the Metro and bus lines making moving around town very easy. The hosts are wonderful and eager to make your stay comfortable. I, as frequent traveler, highly recommend this Montmarte gem.

Spacious & beautifully traditional flat

My 13 year old daughter and I enjoyed the spaciousness of the flat and how it is traditionally decorated. Historic French feel! The neighborhood is great. Ideal location for walking to many restaurants, bakeries, and Montemare village. The views from sacre coure cathedral is unmatched! Would stay again.

Beautiful Montmarte Large Apartment

Nice location! The metro was just down the street and the stairs. Up the hill is a quaint artist community and the lovely church. Restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. Once we figured out the metro system on day 1 Paris was ours! The metro station was very helpful.

Beautiful apartment in a beautiful neighborhood

My father and I really enjoyed the apartment, which is very well decorated and in a fantastic location in Montmatre. There was a lot to do in easy walking distance, and easily accessible public transportation to get further out. Riita and Alaban were very communicative and helpful with check in and check out We would highly recommend!

A Paris Dream

Charming apartment

We loved our stay in the apartment, it was thoughtfully furnished in a traditional way and had everything we needed. It was a great place to relax after a busy day seeing the sights of Paris. The hosts were welcoming, and showed us around and offered assistance if it was required. The apartment is in a great location in Montmartre, with all the sights, plus supermarkets and bakers nearby and the metro is on the doorstep. I would certainly stay here again if I visited Paris.

Great Traditional Apartment in Fantastic Area

We really enjoyed our stay at Riitta and Alban's apartment. The hosts were very friendly, and met us when we arrived to show us the apartment. Decor is very traditional and the beds are comfortable. There is also a lift if you don't want to take the stairs to the second floor. Nice view of a park across the street, and area nearby is great. Very close to the tourist areas of Montmartre, but also very close to other restaurants, bars, bakeries full of locals. We definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance.

Good news/bad news

The neighborhood is great, with easy access to shops, metro and bus lines. The owners did not tell us that construction would be going on during our stay. It was noisy and disruptive. The apartment is filled with artificial flowers and lots of knick-knacks...they, and the hundreds of books, are dust-catchers.

More Than Meets the Eye

The photos of the apartment are accurate! It is as beautiful and comfortable as it seems! Not to mention it's spotless! We loved all of the antique furniture and glassware and the the overall comfort of every room. What doesn't meet the eye is that Ritta has provided for the guest's every need. The fully equipped kitchen provides the guest with every pot, pan, dish, aappliance and utensil that might be needed. One can easily find cleaning supplies, extra plastic bags, toilet paper, extra blankets...and even more. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A Great Place to stay in Montmartre

We stayed 2 months in Paris and this place was really great for that type of a stay. I will say the only caveat is that the beds have very soft mattresses. So if that is what you prefer, then it’s definitely for you. I prefer a harder mattress but luckily there was a rollaway mattress in the closet I used to firm up the bed. It would have been problematic had that mattress not been there so I lucked out. The building is secure and the other residents very friendly. There is an elevator so no worries getting items and people up the stairs. It was wonderful having a wash machine in the kitchen and a place to easily hang clothes to dry. The kitchen is small but well-equipped. We cooked in a lot, buying meat, produce, seafood, cheese and bread from all the local shops. That was a highlight of living amongst the French people. The BEST thing about this adorable apartment is the view of the park directly across the street. We watched not only Montmartre daily life but also Spring and Summer unfold right before our eyes. I had my favorite people to watch as well-‘regulars’ I came to think of them as. Oh and I can’t forget to mention how close we were to the Metro ( a 2 minute walk) and buses 40 and 80. Restaurants in the neighborhood were welcoming and had quality food. The Franprix and G20 Grocery stores are a 10-15 min walk. This was a spectacular experience and Riita and Alban were lovely hosts.

Gute Lage, aber Einschränkungen

Gute Lage in netter Umgebung, nicht zu touristisch. Sehr gute Ausstattung der Küche. Leider ließ sich der Fischgeruch auch durch längeres Lüften nicht ganz vertreiben. Durch die nach unserem Geschmack übertriebene Dekoration mit Kunstblumen etc. waren Abstellflächen sehr knapp.

Perfekte Ferienwohnung

Super! Eine herrlich klassisch eingerichtete Wohnung im Stil der 1950er, sehr nette Gastgeber, top ausgestattete Küche, top Lage mit sympathischer Aussicht aus dem 2. Stock. Das Wohnzimmer ist zwar zu einer mittleren Straße gerichtet und man hört den Autoverkehr etwas, aber beide Schlafzimmer sind absolut ruhig.

Het was beter dat wij konden dromen. Wij hebben enorm genoten van de appartement, fijne contact met de eigenaar, overal snel naar toe met metro of de bus. Wat voor ons uniek makte dat wij maar op 10minutjes wandelen van Place du Tertre waren.Grote aanrader!!!!
