Tour of west Scotland

Crosskeys cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. There was a fully enclosed garden perfect for our two dogs. The only downside was the mini roundabout directly outside the property, from which there was a constant stream of traffic a very short distance from cottage itself, which was noisy outside but insde not really noticeable. Overall a very comfortable stay, beautiful cottage, shame about the roundabout.

Perfect wee break

My partner and I (and our dog) had a lovely couple of days at Crosskeys Cottage in November this year. The cottage itself was lovely - everything looked new and well-cared for. We were both impressed that all the switches and important things were clearly labelled. The spa bath was a particular treat and we loved using the stove in the evening because it was pretty nippy outside. The location is great for reaching Helensburgh, Loch Lomond, and for making your way up the lower West Highlands. Thank you, Alison and Craig, for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage!

Great holiday base for exploring the lochs

Beautiful little cottage. Everything you need supplied apart from food and drink, there was a pint of fresh milk in the fridge which was a welcome bonus, Washing machine really useful but no washing line to hang it out, but pegs supplied under sink though. It has its own dedicated wifi, which works a treat, The cottage is next to a small roundabout and you could just hear the traffic in and out but didn't detract from the cottage. Grassed area where you can sit and round the side a barbecue and small area with table and chairs. Would we consider booking again? Definitely

Fantastic bliss holiday at Crosskeys Cottage

What a wonderful place to stay ! For the first time I did not have to drag back half of the house with me . Coffee milk and tea with some biscuits available on the arrival. Very comfy bed !!! Slept like a child , and despite worry cottage being near the road , rest assure you can't hear a thing. Welcoming and non intrusive owner, easy access to Loch Lomond and other villages, made this holiday very special for me and my husband . Thank you for having us Anna and Seb

The most lovely cottage!

This was our first holiday with our 14 week old puppy and it was by far the best place to take her! The cottage is in a great location for walks around Loch Lomond and has the most homely feel. We loved the wood burning stove the most, perfect in the autumn! The garden was nice and secure for our puppy to play in and Craig and Alison were so lovely to us, we will definitely go back for another stay.

Glenfruin Cottage

Absolutely everything has been thought of, to make this the most comfortable of places to stay. Very cosy, clean, good parking, log burner etc etc.... the list is endless. Alison is such a lovely friendly host, and nothing was too much of a problem. Location perfect for Balloch, Helensburgh, the beautiful Loch Lomond and many more. I would highly recommend this cottage.
