About this property

Luxury Condo Summerwoods of Amelia 10 min walk to Beach! Pool! Close to Ritz!

Summerwoods of Amelia, a newer community located on the south end of the island where the parkway is canopied with majestic oaks. It is beautiful. Located between the Ritz Carlton and the renowned Summer Beach area, it is in my opinion the perfect location. We welcome you to stay at our Vacation Home and enjoy Amelia Island as much as we do. Within the majestic canopied oaks is a dedicated beach walkway from the condo to the ocean. (see photos) The villa style condo has a community pool for our guests.

The interior has a Luxury Master Suite with Master Bath that includes 2 shower heads, granite counters, dual sinks. The Master Bedroom has an exterior door leading to the screened lanai; all backed up to a line of trees for privacy. There is a large, upscale kitchen with a granite breakfast bar, which seats three and a dining area for four people.

This property is more desirable because it is newer built community and includes more high end amenities such as 10 foot ceilings, raised panel doors, full size washer and dryer, screened lanai, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and tile flooring.

We absolutely loved our condo. It was clean, fresh, tidy and comfy. The host Laurie was available and in touch about gate codes before I could even ask. A must stay for your trip. It’s close to the beach which is where we spent most of our time. We will be back for sure!

We had a fabulous two-week stay at Amelia. The owner was incredible…always promptly there for us if we had a question. The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed. Location is perfect. It’s a gem.

Laurie was a great host and provided some excellent suggestions about how to enjoy Amelia Island. Although I walk to slow to reach the beach in 5 minutes, it is an easy shade-covered walk from the neighborhood to the beach access.

Loved Amelia Island!!!

This was a great vacation and this condo made it feel like home. Perfect location, close to grocery, beach, and some restaurants. Condo is super clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfy, Directv Stream in living room and both bedrooms, kitchen is roomy, and a nice screened in patio outback. Stop looking and rent this place, you won't be disappointed!

This is the second time we have stayed at Summerwoods and we have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The condo is beautiful and clean. We brought our bikes and rode literally from one end of the island to the other (and beyond to Big Talbot.). I hope we can come again.

Fantastic place to stay!

The pictures don’t do it justice! Well stocked and very clean place. Very quiet and nice neighborhood. Laurie is wonderful about communicating all information needed for your stay. If you have a lot of beach stuff, consider renting a golf cart or bringing a wagon. We will definitely be back!

This is the most well-thought out, and well-equipped villa we have EVER stayed at. Everything was provided: paper towels, toilet paper, dish and laundry detergent, nightlights are just a few. Nice pool, and the garage has chairs and beach umbrella. Would give Laurie and her property 10 stars if we could!

Beautiful, Peaceful Escape

We enjoyed a wonderful getaway at this Amelia Island condo. It is very comfortable ( beds are amazing!)and meticulously clean. It was very nicely decorated: I'd describe it as modern, seaside chic. I loved reading on the lanai each day--before heading out for a walk on the beach. The path to the beach is under a beautiful canopy of trees- definitely photo worthy! Quaint downtown area, charming historical section. Great restaurants and shops. The owner was very personable and welcoming. I highly recommend this condo!

This was the perfect vacation location! The property was absolutely spotless and had everything we could have ever needed for a great time. The kitchen was well stocked to easily cook meals, the full size washer and dryer were convenient, and the beds were super comfortable. The beach, while about a 10 minute walk, was very private and beautiful. The owner Laurie was excellent with communication, starting from the time we booked through the checkout. I wish I could give this place more stars than just five. It’s that perfect.

Beautiful home in a wonderful location!

This home was probably the cleanest vacation home I have ever rented. The gated community was safe, the community pool was just a three minute walk away, and the 12 minute walk to the beach was beautiful. Finding the entrance to the beach path was a little tricky at first, but once we did, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and wildlife we saw on our walk. The home is in a great location with grocery stores nearby and only about 10-15 minutes to the historic district, which was beautiful. There were lots of great restaurants, ice cream shops and other fun places to browse. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!

Why they chose this property

To me this is Paradise. That's why I named it Villa Sans Souci, a place with 'no worries', where you can be 'carefree' and enjoy your time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life back home. I always get pulled back to Summerwoods of Amelia. My favorite past time is enjoying the beach, boating and beachcombing. You never know the treasures you will find while exploring nature and enjoying the wonderful surroundings that await you here on Amelia Island. Please come and stay awhile. You will be glad you did!

What makes this property unique

Villa Sans Souci has 3 Flat Screen TV's, 2 DVD's, and Free WIFI. The screened in Lanai is a great place to relax for an evening cocktail after a carefree day of enjoying all the island has to offer. It is nice to come back to your own private villa that's tucked under the majestic old oaks. Many mornings you can hear the surf crashing against the beautiful beach only a 8 minute walk away.
