Fantastic stay

Lovely apartment in a great neighbourhood - we were so glad we stayed here rather than is the 'historic centre' which is not nearly so nice. The property is high on a hill with great views over Naples, but is very accessible for older people or infants with funiculars and escalators available on the short walk from the metro. Giancarlo and Fiammetta were wonderful hosts, and are based locally if you have any issues. They very kindly looked after our bags and arranged a taxi on our last day. The listing may be slightly confusing re rooms. These are:- 1 bedroom with double bed- 1 bedroom with child's bed and 2 twin beds (that can become a double)- 1 living room with a sofa bed (double)- 1 bedroom with a single bed

We came down to Naples after a family wedding in Rome and wanted to explore the area, we had a lovely week sightseeing the Naples area. The apartment was lovely, very well equipped and Giancarlo and Fiammetta were lovely host’s, helping with any queries we had. I would have no hesitation to recommend Naples and the apartment to anyone

Recommended apartment

This is a great apartment with excellent & communicative hosts. It's less than 100m from funicular to centre & has a metro 5-10 mins walk away. The neighbourhood is quiet & safe. The rooms are all as they appear on the photos & good sized. The apartment already has all the household items one would need so didn't have to buy from the supermarket, of which there are several nearby. Would love to come back & definitely recommend.

Excellent flat in excellent area

This flat is nicely located in the Vomero area. It is close to central Vomero but still quite. It is easy to get to the city center with metro or fumiculare. The price value ratio is very high. Really recommended. We stayed here a month for work and would like to thank our hosts.

Excellent

The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Giancarlo is a great host, friendly and available if you need him. We loved the location with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby as well as great transport connections. We packed in a lot of activities during our stay and each day we were really pleased to get back to the apartment and relax.

Lovely stay in Vomera, Naples

We had a wonderful stay in Naples with our two daughters, 20 and 22, in Giancarlo's beautiful apartment. We were warmly received by Giuseppina who did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you for the Prosecco, fruit and food on arrival and for allowing us to stay in such a lovely area of Naples in such comfort. We loved the area and Naples - lovely to walk down the steps to the Centro historico. We spent very interesting days visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Port, the island of Procida, Caserta , the beach of Marechiaro and locally the underground tour, the monastery and Castle, (just around the corner), museums and churches - so much to see and all by local transport. It was lovely to return and sit out on the huge terrace in tranquillity- a little haven of peace. Very well equipped and very spacious. We will return. Thank you for a great stay. Cathy and John

Naples 2019

The property was clean, bright and very spacious. Would have preferred a proper bed in the small bedroom rather than a sofa bed, but otherwise everything else was truly excellent. Most holiday properties have kitchens which have just enough to get by, but this one had all the utensils you would wish for so was excellent for anyone who wants to cook. Our host Giancarlo was particularly helpful in booking taxis and solving a wi-fi internet problem with the local provider, and could not have been a better host. The location close to Castel St Elmo and the metro station of Vanvitelli, whilst being in a quiet street, make this an excellent location for anyone visiting Naples/Napoli. With a nearby supermarket and bustling shopping area, you really could not wish for more. I would definitely recommend this property and our gracious host Giancarlo highly for anyone wishing to stay in this marvellous city.

Napoli in June

Spacious, practical, well appointed. Lovely to be high above the city. The building is elegant and the neighbourhood is calm. There are plenty of food shops, restaurants nearby. The apartment is even nicer than the photos. It is very easy to get into all parts of Napoli and to Versuvio.

Beautiful apartment in great location

We have just returned from a 12 day stay in this fantastic spacious apartment. It is very comfortable and clean and it has a great veranda which catches the sun from mid morning onwards. Perfect for watching the sun set with a glass of wine. It's located in a quiet area but within a few minutes walk of a large supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants. It's also close to the Funicular and Metro station as well as the local bus stop so getting around using public transport is very easy. We didn't feel there was any need to hire a car. We visited Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri and Rome during our stay. All easily accessible by train/boat. The apartment was a great retreat to relax in the evening after a busy day sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this apartment and we would be happy to return if we are back in Naples. Thank you Giancarlo for being a great host and for your help during our stay. We had a great time.

"The apartment was genera...

"The apartment was generally perfect and the welcome as good. Such a good location being a very short trip downwards from the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood to the hustle and bustle that make Napoli so enticing. Only two small points: an office was mentioned....the room in question was well equipped for listening to music...but was basically empty and was not an office (no desk or even a table and chair); also the beds a bit basic. But we''ll still be back!"

"We spent a week between ...

"We spent a week between March and April at this lovely flat in Naples. We are a family of four, and found the flat extremely comfortable. It is very spacious, and has a lovely terrace so children had plenty of room to play. The flat is in excellenent conditions, very clean and fully equipped. The owners are very nice people, and made sure that everything was right for us. The location is perfect- close to Vomero, but not too close to make it noisy, and very close to metro and funicolare, which allows to reach all parts of town very easily. We would recommend it with no hesitation, and will be definitly going back!"

Nous avons passé 10 jours de vacances à Naples en famille magnifiques. Découverte de la ville et de ses alentours grandioses on en a pris plein les yeux. Spacious, Vomero apartment with large terrace

Terrace had 270 degree over city view. Well-equipped and well-supplied kitchen. Each of the three bedrooms nicely private. Giancarlo checked to make sure we were not troubled by a slight earthquake. (Having lived in the Bay area, we were inclined to reply: Call that (4.4) an earthquake?) Excellent communication to rest of city via funiculare.

Spacious apartment, great location

This apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and cool (we visited in July). The big terrace was great for eating meals and playing for the kids. We loved the quiet, calm location. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go with the Metro, Funiculare, and walking. The hosts were also very helpful advising us to find alternate transportation during a train workers strike and booking us a taxi. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Quiet apartment in a quiet neighborhood.

Great apartment in a terrific neighborhood (Vomero) above Naples Spanish quarter. The hosts live nearby and are super-responsive. They helped us find a spa, recommended great restaurants, and arranged a taxi for us! The location can't be beat! Close to metro and better-yet the Naples Funiculars! Lots of restaurants nearby and it's a really safe-feeling area. Highly recommend!!

Best choice apartment

We were a group of 5 people visiting Naples for 5 days. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked. There was a gift basket from the owners, and the communication with them was excellent. Fiammetta was very accommodating, and responsive. If you are planning visiting Napoli, don’t hesitate to book this apartment.

Grand apartment in a great neighborhood

Don't hesitate. We're 2 people, but this could comfortably accommodate aclarger family or group of friends. Communication was clear, and the neighborhood is beautiful. The apartment is within walking distance to an extraordinary Naples attraction, Castel Sant'Elmo, a hearty walk down the steps to the Spaccanapoli, mass transit, and lots of restaurants and shopping. With eclectic decor, comfortable beds, several lounge areas including a large kitchen and larger veranda, it's a lovely home away from home.
