We are happy to offer this exceptional retreat in Santa Fe! With 7000 square feet of indoor space, this home is perfect for groups or families of up to 14 seeking a relaxed retreat in a quiet country setting.
Minutes from Santa Fe’s downtown plaza and galleries of Canyon road, this property sits on three acres in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just off the Veterans Memorial Highway Southwest of the Plaza in Santa Fe which also makes it convenient to the Santa Fe Opera, shopping and the Santa Fe Airport.
There are 5 bedrooms:
1.The Primary suite with a king bed, TV and a twin daybed (sleeps 3)
2.The zen room with a queen bed (sleeps 2)
3.The Mountain room with a queen bed (sleeps 2)
4.The Courtyard suite with its own full kitchen is one huge room with a king bed and a twin daybed. Includes TV(sleeps 3)
5.The Bunk room has 2 twin beds and queen pull down Murphy bed (sleeps 4)

The large living room is oriented around a kiva style fireplace. There is plenty of seating and a 75" television.
Dedicated dining room with seating for 12.
A well equipped and fully stocked kitchen with Viking range, warming oven, wine fridge and a granite island with additional seating.

Outdoor spaces include a year-round heated 50 ft.lap pool with electric cover. Covered porch with sectional seating and a large arbor-covered table which seats 14-perfect for dining al fresco. Enjoy the traditional Swedish sauna or relax in the hot tub with its soothing massage jets.

Owners Blake and Mitty live in the separated and private next door home. We are available if needed and would love to help better your experience if questions should come up, otherwise we provide your group with complete privacy.

This is a peaceful home in a quiet country setting, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. As such, we cannot accommodate weddings or other potentially loud parties.

Extraordinary Property in Excellent Location

The photos do not do it justice! This property is spacious, beautifully appointed, and has incredible views. We had a party of 12 and it could not have been a better location for our extended family Christmas. Everyone felt like they had their own personal space and the main living and cooking areas were ample and comfortable. Hosts were responsive and helpful when needed. Highly recommend!

Magical house

We came to town for the balloon festival with a bigger group of friends (with kids). This property was amazing- so many places to gather and it had everything we needed to entertain ourselves. It’s a great property for a group, and with kids. The neighborhood and the views from the actual house are stunning. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place for a family group!

We've been taking vacations with our adult children and grandchildren for 5 years, and this is the best place we've every stayed. The house and grounds are beautiful, there was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen is well equipped, the view is gorgeous, and the kids loved the pool. There are many lovely places to relax outside, and the inside stayed cool even on some pretty hot days. Blake was very responsive to questions and some minor problems. We'd happily stay here again. The only inconvenience is that it's a bit of a trek to a grocery store, so you just have to be organized and plan your shopping well -- but the wonderful view makes up for it.

Superb

Superb (as the family said). We knew the house would be beautiful from the photos online, but the professionally landscaped gardens around the house were unexpected. The views of the local mountains were gorgeous as were the sunsets. We had enjoyable evenings by the fire pit and fun days by the pool and hot tub. We were fortunate to be there on the fourth of July to see the fireworks across Santa Fe. Excursions were very easy from the property location and we were always eager to return to spend time relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine.

Annual Family Hiking

This home was by far the most amazing place we have stayed. The beds were very comfortable and the entire place was clean & welcoming. We have traveled as a group extensively across the United States & this was our favorite trip. The hikes were so challenging, we hiked Deception Peak & Wheeler Peak. We decided to not take our third hike because we needed a break. Its a short drive to Los Alamos & Bandolier which we highly recommend, especially the Bradbury Museum & Oppenheimer house. Our hosts were very helpful & kind. The amenities were wonderful, the kitchen was the best we’ve experienced in a rental. We enjoyed 3 full 3 course meals, cooking in. It was hard to actually leave for our excursions because we wanted to stay by the pool, sauna & hot tub. We would all stay here again & hope to in the future. Thank you!!

Best vacation house ever

We have stayed in a variety of vacation homes and host an annual womens retreat. This home is by far the most beautiful house we have ever stayed at. Everyone had an amazing stay. There was ample room for different activities. The attention to detail in all the spaces was a delight to experience. It was clean and well stocked. We needed nothing. Blake was so responsive and kind. We will def be booking this space again! Thank you so much for a magical weekend.

Gorgeous outdoor area and spacious home

Perfect for a large group! The home was fully stocked and it was very easy to communicate with the property manager. We loved the fire pit, large great room, and outdoor seating - I cannot rave about this house enough!!

Women's Retreat

Our recent stay in Santa Fe was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the serene beauty of Santa Fe, this spacious abode provided the perfect setting for a memorable weekend getaway with friends. As the host of a rejuvenating sound bath session for twelve of my closest companions, I couldn't have asked for a more accommodating space. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted by an atmosphere of tranquility and warmth. The common areas, thoughtfully designed and tastefully furnished, invited us to unwind and connect with each other. Whether we were lounging in the cozy living room, preparing meals together in the well-appointed kitchen, or gathering around the fireplace for late-night conversations, every moment was filled with comfort and camaraderie.

Beautiful

This house exceeded our expectations and we did not want to leave this house. Everything was wonderful, the only thing I can say is that it is a drive to everything and 1 hour drive to the mountain. Overall though, would stay here again and highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay in Santa Fe

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property. It's such a great location with so many amenities - you don't even want to leave the property - but not far at all to drive into town. We've rented this for a girls trip and also for a couples trip and had a wonderful time with each group!

Beautiful, spacious rental!

Somehow the rental was even better than the pictures! The check-in instructions and communication leading up to our stay was great and once we arrived check-in was easy. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and perfect for a large group of friends. Plenty of space so we never felt on top of each other. All of the little details in and outside made the stay that much more enjoyable: bathrobes in each room, blankets outside, etc. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Gorgeous Home with Fabulous Amenities

We absolutely loved renting this stunning home. The home is beautifully decorated, incredibly well-stocked and felt very spoiling in so many ways. We especially enjoyed the heated pool, sauna, hot tub and gas fire pit. So many lovely details including blankets for cool evenings, beach towels for swim or sauna, lovely platters and glassware in the kitchen….four stars all the way!

Wonderful house in every way

Beautiful well maintained property. Excellent support from on-site manager. Kitchen had everything, as did outdoors. Regulation pool table a bonus. Lots of areas for six adults and five children 6-14 to congregate or separate. We had Ned Laventall, a private chef, in twice who did a great job. Would come again.

Heaven on Earth!

We absolutely loved our time here - the pictures don’t do the property justice. The owners have thought of everything … the house is superbly outfitted and decorated, we felt completely at home. Our kids loved the turfed outdoor space and exploring around the property. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

It's hard to come up with enough superlatives to describe our perfect family reunion week at this house. We had a mixed group of adults and small children, and it was a wonderful place for every single one of us. Gorgeous house with lots of nooks and corners to enjoy - the house is spectacular and was super clean and welcoming. Blake was so kind and helpful and made us feel right at home. He was very responsive and readily available. We loved the pool, the outdoor dining spaces, the fantastic views, the comfortable bedrooms, and the two kitchens. Very close to everything Santa Fe has to offer, and removed enough to feel like a true getaway. Highly recommend this exceptional place!

A Fabulous Vacation Home!

Fantastic home with many living areas and bedrooms. Owners were extremely helpful in getting us started on our vacation. It was well stocked with all items needed for a top notch family time! We especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and massive fire pit. You cannot beat the views and the impressive atmosphere of this home. Thank you!

Amazing home & stunning location

This home is located in the hills above Santa Fe. It feels remote & private, but is only 15 minutes away from pretty much anywhere in Santa Fe. You can get a great idea from the photos on the listing - they are accurate (if maybe not quite doing justice to how beautiful Blake & Mitty's house is)! So, here are the things the photos don't show: -Your hosts have thought of everything. There's plenty of toiletries, soap, towels, etc. -There are incredible amenities for everyone. In addition to the sauna, hot tub, and pool, Blake & Mitty have professional-grade binoculars, a Viking range & oven, an excellent selection of pots, pans, cookware, etc, staples like salt & pepper -This is simply one of the most beautifully designed places I have ever stayed. Every room & every element is intentional & functional. Enjoy your stay! We sure did.

Amazing!

Any questions directed to the manager or the owners was answered almost immediately. Once we arrived, we had a couple of questions and Blake came over right away to explain things. Was the house well stocked? YES! Plenty of pots/pans/dishes/glasses/tissues/toilet paper/ paper towels/hair dryers/laundry soap/dishwasher detergent. Every bedroom has two fabulous robes hanging in the closet for your use. No skimping here like we've had at other rentals. . There were 13 of us from age 5 to 68 for the Thanksgiving week. Plenty of room to spread out. Only a 20 minute drive to the Plaza. Beautiful sunsets and star gazing. It really was a fabulous home with lots of unique character and lovely outdoor spaces. We didn't get a chance to meet Mitty, but Blake felt like family after our first encounter. Would highly recommend!

The Spaciousness of both the indoor and outdoor areas allow guests to spread out and relax while enjoying the company of friends and family. The pool area is often where guests spend most of their time napping and taking dips in the year round heated lap pool. the sky and mountain views will take your breath away and provide the perfect backdrop for your stay. Take a day trip to the plaza for excellent shopping and museums just ten minutes away. Hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and skiing are all close by. After a day of exploring all that our wonderful city has to offer, come relax in the hot tub and star gaze around the gas fire pit! Or have a cozy night indoors with a pinion fire in the kiva fireplace while watching a movie and playing games. Or challenge someone to a game of pool in the saloon style billiards room. This home truly has something for everyone!
