Perhaps it was the heat.....
We are three ladies who recently stayed at this property in order to visit the Expo 2015. While the house and the setting were very agreeable, our dealings with the owner were strained and we would like to make some recommendations to future rentors so that you might have a more pleasant experience than we had. First of all, make sure to have everything in writing as with all rentals. Secondly, be aware that the listing on the site does not make mention of the pool being a paid amenity at 6 euros per day so we strongly suggest you pay 30 euros for a five-entry pool card, up front. Trust us on this. You will also need a bathing cap. The owner entered the house unannounced on several occasions and that was very disconcerting to us, perhaps not so for you. Lastly, when we asked for some basic information, particularly about the bus line that runs right outside the residence we were given a lot of "I don't knows".
However the lifeguard at the pool is very friendly and helpful as are the couple who run the shop around the corner from the residence. All of us have traveled in Italy before and this was really the first time we were made to feel like intruders instead of paying guests which is a shame because the house and the rest of our stay really was lovely. Good luck and buon viaggio.
