Pleasant, inviting, comfy and safe place to stay in a charming country area of England. Close to Nottingham, where my daughter lives and could easily travel to spend a cozy Christmas with us. Plenty of room for 4, plus two little chihuahua doggies. Enjoyed cooking together.
Amazing cottage perfect for retreat after the days at Download festival!
Ideal location and lovely homely cottage in beautiful grounds. It was the perfect way to relax after our days out at a soggy Download festival. Well equipped with everything we needed and the hosts were great, welcoming good communications and even brought some freshy clipped roses from the garden on our first morning! Can't wait to visit again next year!

Delightful place to stay
The mews cottage (No.1) was extremely well equipped with everything we required for a comfortable stay. It was an idyllic setting for our family, perfect for all and we would definitely return in a heart beat. Thank you to Charlotte and Charles for making us so welcome in their fabulous cottages. We loved this place so much the kids and I didn't want to go home. We will be returning again some day, hopefully sooner than later.
An excellent experience all round with a lovely setting , tastefully decorated in keeping with the overall country home environment. Additional seasonal decorations made it a real festive get away. Thank you
We received a lovely welcome to this well-equipped mews cottage for a few days over Christmas to be near family. The owners had added a pretty Christmas Tree and Door Wreath to add the finishing touch for a home from home feel for these few days. We would highly recommend this property.
