Very pleasant stay

We had really good time staying at the villa. Pascal (the host) was very friendly and helpful although we haven't met him in person. He gave us some nice tips regarding points of interest nearby. The villa fulfilled our expectations. The only downside for us as non-french guest was limited english of a person that welcomed us on arrival, but we managed to communicate anyways. All in all a very pleasant stay.

This villa is really excellent! It has a lovely heated pool where one of my grandchildren learned to swim. The whole family felt that this villa was the best we have stayed in over recent years. It's close to a lovely safe beach, close to restaurants and close enough to the centre of the village for early morning baguettes. Also, the Gironde weather was great. There are very few places where a car is not essential - and this is one! The villa and location "ticked a lot of boxes" for us and we plan to return.

Lovely villa in a beautiful location

The Villa was very lovely and perfect for our group of 10. Bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds and lots of places to store your things. The kitchen was very well equipped. The pool was just right, especially for the children. The outdoor seating area, was great for sunny meals by the pool! It’s a lovely amble down the lane to a beautiful beach with great ice creams. Noise from the local campsite was the only downside which is obviously not the fault of the Villa! It was a beautiful town with a great market. we also visited the caves which the children enjoyed With an English audio guide. As Three families often travel to France together, this was our best trip yet! Worth the drive!

Fast Perfekt

Wir(6 Erwachsene und 8 Kinder) waren im Juli für 10 Tage in der Unterkunft. Die Lage ist gut, nur 300 Meter zu Fuß zum Strand. Es gibt aber noch schönere Strände, die man mit dem Auto gut erreicht. Das Haus war gut ausgestattet, der Pool wurde zweimal gereinigt. Alles war sauber. Allerdings war uns das Haus für 14 Personen zu klein. Das 5er Zimmer war im Dachgeschoß mit Dachschräge. Für die 5 Mädels im Alter von 9-14 Jahren mit ihren 5 Koffern war das Chaos perfekt, es gab auch nur eine Komode, weil einfach kein Platz war. Für kleinere Kinder denke ich, ist es in Ordnung. Auch war der Tisch draußen zu klein damit wir zu 14. dort sitzen und essen konnten. Wir haben uns dann aufgeteilt. Drinnen war es kein Problem da haben wir alle drangepasst. Daher unser Fazit. Für max. 12 Personen ist das Haus perfekt. Ansonsten haben wir uns wohlgefühlt. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief problemlos, Geschäfte, Bäckerei alles in der Nähe. Schöne Gegend um Urlaub zu machen.

Agréable séjour dans la maison qui est proche de la plage, des loisirs et des commerces. Dommage que la piscine n'a pas été mise en service pour le WE. en raison de la météo des jours précédents. Il serait nécessaire de préciser les dates d'ouverture dans l'annonce et de revoir le prix sans l'accès piscine.

un excelent séjour en famille

C'était l'occasion pour nous de réunir nos filles, gendres et petits-enfants. La maison nous a permis de profiter pleinement de sa piscine chauffée, de sa terrasse, de son joli jardin et de son mini-bois privatif. La maison est suffisamment spacieuse pour 12 personnes avec de grandes chambres pour les adultes. Les 4 petits-enfants étaient ravis de partager la même chambre. Maison à recommander.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison est très bien située. Les hôtes sont très disponibles. Cependant, nous étions 14 et la maison est un peu juste pour ce nombre. Il y a suffisamment de couchage mais difficile de tous manger en même temps, frigo trop petit, nombre de couverts un peu juste...

Villa with pool

Good location for beaches, shops, facilities. Small living room area for party of 12. Not enough comfy seats (one medium sofa and 2 chairs). Only two toilets. No en-suites. Very good heated pool and seating area outside.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette grande villa très bien située. La villa était en très bon état, très propre avec tout le confort, il y a même un barbecue qui fut très apprécié. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine et la proximité avec la mer. Le propriétaire nous a accueilli à notre arrivé et nous a expliqué les environs. Très bon accueil. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Maison propre et conforme à la description. Attention il est indiqué qu'il y a un grand jardin derrière la propriété, celui-ci n'est pas praticable, en pente. Piscine chauffée très agréable. Manque éventuellement de jeux de société en cas de mauvais temps. Il est compliqué de manger à 12 dehors. Nous avons dû rapatrier la petite table de derrière car sinon nous étions vraiment à l'étroit. Mer à 600 m et non à 350 m. Néanmoins sympathique pour les enfants surtout à marée basse.

Vacances trop courtes

Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La description donnée correspond parfaitement à la réalité. Tout nous a plu : le confort de la maison, la piscine sécurisée et chauffée, la proximité de la mer, des commerces, de St Georges de Didonne, de Royan, sans oublier l'accueil que nous ont réservé les propriétaires à l'arrivée et la disponibilité de la personne de contact en fin de séjour. Cette maison est à recommander aux familles avec enfants (même très petits).

nos super vacances en famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Meschers ! La maison est très vaste, toute refaite et vraiment bien équipée (avec tout ce qu'il fallait pour notre bébé !). La plage est très proche et accessible. Les enfants se sont régalés dans la cabane du jardin, ils ont pu jouer en toute tranquilité dans le jardin cloturé. Un régal pour nous les parents..

Le top entre amis avec enfants

Idéal pour familles détente entre amis, calme au milieu de la forêt de Meschers , sans vis à vis, proche de la plage accèssible par rue très peu circulée. Grand confort, tout neuf ! Meschers est une petite station balnéaire pleine de charme et proche - de 10 km de Royan pour la fête et les sorties.
