Beautiful villa and great experience

Make sure you book out the whole villa and have the place to yourself as it is very beautiful and a great spot to settle in. There are quite a few beds - we were 11 in our group and managed to fit in fine. Manoelle was a fabulous host and made our stay very special. Make sure you listen to her restaurant recommendations because she knows what she is talking about. Wish we had stayed longer!!

Gorgeous Tuscan Villa

Tenuta Sospesa is an absolute treasure, as is the host Manoelle. I accompanied some friends here for their wedding and it was the perfect setting - beautifully manicured gardens with trees that are hundreds of years old, gorgeous pool area and everything from a pizza oven to an outdoor movie theatre at your disposal. Maonelle was so welcoming, endlessly helpful and has a wealth of local knowledge. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to go back!

A great stay at a beautiful Tuscan villa

My husband and I found Tenuta Sospesa and fell in love! We traveled to Italy to get married in the local area and Manoelle was really helpful, giving us reccomendations what to do around the area, local supermarkets, giving us advice on our wedding, and telling us the best places to eat with a fantastic veiw! :) The property itself is stunning, very Italian and we even took a few photos around the property as it was so beautiful. The pool, gardens and courtyeard were amazing and we're already looking forward to going back in the future!

Wonderful villa in a unique setting

Charming apartments with delightful garden

As a secret kept, lies Tenuta Sospesa behind the trees with its delightful garden and charming apartments. The property is kept with style, love and care. The owner Manoelle is such a lovely and nice person! Also perfectly suited when traveling with babies as all baby facilities are available. incl. a private garden that allows for privacy. Whether you like historic cities, the lade side, wineries or chill out in the garden, it is at a perfect location to discover it all.

Perfect stay!

My family's stay at Tenuta Sospesa was amazing. The large, well-equipped apartment we stayed in was more than enough space for our family of four and the design of the apartment really highlighted the charm of Italy for us. The countryside of Umbria surrounding Tenuta Sospesa is beautiful indeed. But, the gardens/grounds at Tenuta Sospesa were magical to say the very least - I can't stress this enough. The details and designs of the garden were something that everyone in my family appreciated. The swimming pool was surrounded by these amazing gardens (and the pool lights for nighttime swimming were great). In the immediate area (5-10 minutes by car), were a few traditional Umbrian towns with some great restaurants as well any other amenities that a traveller might need (grocery stores, pizzerias, etc.) It has probably been said already, but anyone's time in Umbria would be well spent simply relaxing at Tenuta Sospesa. Manoelle is a great host and her charm and personality are evident upon arrival.

Peaceful haven in Umbria

Manoelle was very helpful during the booking process and made sure everything worked out for us.The moment we arrived we felt very welcome as lovely music was playing in the apartment and there were fresh flowers on the table. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious, and we had our own lovely garden with various fruit trees, with the fig trees bearing lovely fruit. The pool and common areas were delightful for relaxing and the location is great for exploring the interesting towns and villages of Umbria and Southern Tuscany. Manoelle is a font of knowledge about the best places to visit and restaurants to eat in and is very willing to share this. We had a great holiday here and would highly recommend it.

Little charming retreat!

Lovely decorated, calm and comfy villa which is perfectly located for exploring Umbria and Tuscany! 100% authentic Umbrian style! Well cared for property, pretty garden area and very nice clean pool! Perfect apartment for families with baby

Superb traditional country house from the 18th century surrounded by fields of sunflowers and wheat, with lovingly tended roses and fruit garden with hammocks, pool, pizza oven and barbecue areas. Perfect for families with babies and children: Manoëlle is a very child love hostess with many tips (restaurants & trips with children), the "Baby Kit" includes virtually all of cot overnight light up paddling. Top: Is it hot outside, the apartment stays cool through the thick walls. Legal secluded and quiet. During the day you can hear pheasants, night fly the fireflies. Important: Only recommended with car 30 minutes eg to Perugia. Conclusion: Did allow us 2 weeks felt very comfortable!

Absolutely lovely!

I stayed at Tenuta Sospesa with my husband for a weekend in November. The place is stunning, the apartment is cozy, clean and comfy. The gardens are breathtaking and incredibly well maintained. A very nice experience

The tenuta has two appartments (besides the owner's appartment), each of them with its private terrace. The appartment we stayed in was very well maintained. Manoelle, the owner, showed us around on the property and was always helpful and gave us a lot of advices where to go and where to eat best. The property with its garden, sitting facilities and swimming pool is very nice and cozy and can be used by vevery renter equally. On one night Manoelle invited us to a movie event in an old barn on her property. Since we do not speak Italian, she picked up a movie with German subtitles. We had a lot of fun! We enjoyed our week at the tenuta sospesa very much and expect to return next year!

Cannot recommend highly enough!

We are just back from the most wonderful and relaxing break at Tenuta Sospesa. Everything was a breeze from the moment we touched down in Perugia. We arrived at the apartment a little early but Manoelle kindly let us have a swim and relax by the beautiful pool while she finished getting our apartment ready. The apartment was just perfect, lovely furniture, tastefully decorated and it contained everything we needed - the kitchen was fully equipped to a very high standard - from lovely crockery and wine glasses to the coffee maker and vast array of pots and pans – perfect for all the lovely alfresco suppers we enjoyed! We had our own private patio with BBQ (Manoelle even gave us a bag of coals after we couldn’t find them in the local supermarket), garden leading onto a lovely orchard with pear, apple and fig trees. As if this wasn’t enough, we also had full use of the rest of the stunning and peaceful grounds - swimming pool, hammock, little volley ball area, pizza oven and many relaxing seating areas. Manoelle was a perfect host, once we had settled in, she popped down to ensure we had everything and tell us all about the things to do and see in the area. We had some great days out including a trip to Rome and Assisi. It was so nice to have our little haven in the country to come back to and relax! We cannot recommend Tenuta Sospesa highly enough - thank you so much Manoelle for making our holiday so amazing and one that we will never forget!

If you’re searching for a place that let you forget time and space in order to get back home full of new energy – then this is the place to be! I promise you that after your stay at “Tenuta Sospesa” you will feel completely relaxed and in balance. More than you have ever been before! The house is incredibly beautiful, the surroundings just awesome, the pool looks even more blue than on the images and the garden is an oasis of peace. During my stay, the owner Manoelle did everything she could to render my stay one of the best holidays in my life! Thanks a lot for your kindness and your great advices! You can’t do anything wrong choosing this place! Lie down in the hammock, close your eyes and just relax! Die “Tenuta Sospesa” ist Synonym für vollkommene Entspannung und bietet die einzigartige Möglichkeit den Alltagsstress einmal gänzlich hinter sich zu lassen. Ich wurde überaus herzlich von Manoelle, der Besitzerin des wunderschönen Landguts, empfangen. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und hatte immer einen guten Tipp parat. Während meines Aufenthalts scheute sie keine Mühen, um meinen Urlaub so perfekt wie möglich zu gestalten. Der gepflegte und farbenfrohe Garten lädt wirklich zum Träumen ein und der Sprung ins blaue, kühle Nass des Pools ist ein wahres Geschenk nach einer Wanderung an einem heißen Sommertag im schönen Umbrien. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll und harmonisch eingerichtet und der Blick auf die wunderschöne Umgebung ist einfach atemberaubend. Die „Tenuta Sospesa“ war ein wahrer Glücksgriff, die ich jedem/jeder nur wärmstens empfehlen kann. Ich für meinen Teil kehre auf jeden Fall verzaubert, entspannt und voller schöner Erinnerungen nach Hause zurück.

Mi è capitato spesso di pernottare in casolari, sia in Umbria che fuori regione ma raramente ho visto un casale così curato nei dettagli e con un giardino così bello. La proprietaria mi ha detto che hanno riaperto i battenti dopo un lungo periodo di lavori e ho trovato il posto ancora più bello rispetto alle foto dell’annuncio. Gli interni sono stati sapientemente ristrutturati ed arredati con gusto. Esternamente è stata realizzata una meravigliosa corte ed un incantevole portico in tipico stile umbro. Le camere e i letti sono estremamente confortevoli e la temperatura interna al casale era perfetta. Ho trovato la pulizia impeccabile. La rete WIFI è molto performante sia dentro che fuori in giardino, ideale per chi come me ha dovuto lavorare anche in vacanza. Abbiamo già deciso di tornare con un gruppo piu numeroso di amici..

Un posto incantevole, casa bellissima, arredata con gusto. Ogni singolo pezzo è un'opera d'arte messa al posto giusto. Bellissimo il giardino. Ogni comfort. Barbecau, forno a legni, giochi per i bambini, altalene. Cucina fornita di tutto. Un posto da sogno dove SICURAMENTE torneremo. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile a soddisfare tutte le nostre richieste. Ci siamo stati per un fine settimana, eravamo in 15 tra adulti e bambini e tutti siamo nella stessa opinione. Il posto è incantevole.
