Another wonderful holiday at Honokeana Cove

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Honokeana Cove, the location is wonderful and grounds are well taken care of. Unit 107 was very dated. The bathroom and kitchen were disappointing. The furniture and bed was comfortable. We spent most of our time on the lanai or outside. Probably wouldn't stay in 107 again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honokeana Cove is still such a beautiful spot and has been for the 40+ years we have been staying there. I would highly recommend the Cove but our condo 107 is in desperate need of updating and repairs to the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Until this is done we would not rent this unit again.

Great Snorkeling Steps Away

Nice property. Very clean and mostly quiet (depends on your neighbors). Great snorkeling in the bay that the property is next to. We swam with turtles during the sunset our first night. Short drive to Honolua Bay which is also very good snorkeling.

Another Wonderful vacation at Honokeana Cove

Reviewer Comments: This was our second trip to Honokeana Cove, but our first stay in #107 since we came with additional people and stayed in 2-bedroom #105 the first time.Honokeana Cove does not disappoint. The grounds are immaculate and the condo's are clean and comfortable. After a total of 24 days over 2 stays, we still have yet to use a dining room table because we always eat all of our meals out on the Lanai, enjoying the beautiful view.Snorkeling with the turtles never gets old, and just sitting out on the chairs watching the turtles come on shore to sleep in the sun every afternoon is amazing.The location is close enough to Lahaina to enjoy the amenities there whenever you want, but you can also get all your groceries at the market in Napili Plaza, which is an easy walk from the condos.Can't wait to return!

Unit 107 needs updating and some maintenance. Mold in bathroom shower (we cleaned it up), stove has hole in main burner, bathroom sink stopper does not hold water & needs a soap dish. Sliding door was hard yo lock/unlock. Fridge sticks out & noisy. Garbage disposal could be replacef.

Great place to stay in Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Honokeana cove is absolutely a great place to stay in Maui. Right from your Lanai you can take a few steps to the pool and a couple more steps to the beach. It’s a rocky beach, but a great place to snorkel and see turtles. We swam next to turtles on a couple of occasions. The apartment is close to a market for everyday needs and 10 min or so from Kaanapali. The apartment is a little outdated, but the location and the view make up for it. The apartment was clean and check in was easy.

Unit #107

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Honokeana Cove! Thihs was our 3rd visit to the Cove and it didn't disappoint (except for some nasty weather). But, we were in Hawaii, so it was OK! Met new friends and saw the whales, which is what we went for this time of year. They didn't disapoint either! The Cove is so relaxing. Grounds were as beautiful as always and the pool felt great! In this unit, the furniture needs to be replaced. The chair cushions were almost flat, and very uncomfortable. The bed mattress was as hard as a rock, like sleeping on a brick! Unless this unit gets a big overhaul, I wouldn't stay in it again. The owners need to spend some $$ to spruce it up. It is dated. But, the location of the unit is great, so overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and we'll be back to Honokeana Cove again. Thanks for the great time!

What a fantastic place for a couple to enjoy Maui

This was not my first stay at Honokeana Cove but it was my first as a couple. My girlfriend had never been to Hawaii before and I knew from previous visits that HC was the place to make her head explode. The condo did not disappoint - it was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced considering the view and snorkeling access. HC has ruined for me every other place to stay on Maui LOL

Not A Good Nights Rest

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to move units and pay the extra cleaning fee because the bed was so hard we couldn’t sleep. I actually ended up on the couch! A $150 dollar 2 inch topper would go a long way toward giving guests a comfortable sleepable bed.
