Step into the large updated, bright and airy condominium featuring a granite kitchen with breakfast bar, open-concept living/dining area–complete with new, attractive white leather sofa and loveseat, and featuring a flat screen TV with DVD player. The newly remodeled bathrooms have travertine tile and new cabinets. The unit includes a washer and dryer, so no vacation laundry will be necessary when you arrive back home.

The sophisticated, soothing, island-themed Master Bedroom is furnished with a comfy King bed and flat screen television and the spacious second bedroom has two full-sized beds. French doors from both the Master and the Living room open onto a patio and nice lawn.

So don't leave Fido behind! The Chateau La Mer community is perfect for pets. There are large grassy areas and sidewalks for strolling along beside the breathtakingly beautiful beach. And the amenities don't stop there. Submerge yourself in the large pool that is heated in the winter, volley with friends and family on the well-kept tennis courts, and entertain with the use of the outdoor grills, clubhouse and more. The neighborhood has no through-traffic, which is greatly appreciated by families with kids and/or pets.

Stayed here for a week and this is a great locstion, just a short walk to the beach and the pool was across from our unit which is a plus. The only thing the rooms were hot but stand alone fans were in the unit. Overall our stay was great! Fully stocked of everything needed like plates, cups, silverware, etc.

Very clean and spacious condo. The private beach access was close and we loved having beach services included. Check in and out was easy. We loved that they had plenty of towels.

Great location to beach-unit was very dirty.
The location to the beach is amazing! Our unit was very dirty there were roaches everywhere daily, thee were dead ones on top of the stove. Sand was all over the floors the moment we arrived like it had never been cleaned. Dishes were dirty in the cabinets, ice maker didn’t work. The location was great, the unit needs a better cleaning service, and an exterminator.

This property was nice but filthy dirty. We had 1 butter knife, not enough pots ice maker frozen over. Furniture had sand/ grit all over and was stained. We love clm stay every year, this place was our least favorite. We will come back, just never to this unit. Also we had another unit 9c and it was awesome. Although we were charged pet deposit on both condos when we only had dog in 9b

Could Be Nice But…
First I’d like to say that the communication and check in process was excellent. This was a great location being in the center of everything and a short walk to the beach. The condo was lovely but could use some updated furnishings, bedding and a little paint. What first struck me upon our arrival was the trash lying all over the grounds. I don’t know if that’s a property management issue or the owners issue but the grounds would have been beautiful except for that. The condo itself was homey but perhaps a little too homey. I don’t want to travel 10 hours and have to sweep food and sand off the floors, clean the grit, food and coffee stains off the counter, grit and food on couches and coffee tables and make my own bed. Maybe that’s just me, but I feel I go on vacation to NOT have to walk in an expensive condo and clean…I think overall this place was ok but DEFINITELY needs cleaning and grounds maintenance.

Nice unit, in a convenient location, pet friendly.
This is a nice, first floor unit, with easy access to the outside, for pet owners. The bed was very comfortable, and overall, the condo is very nicely equipped. The pool is heated at the complex, which is very nice. The condo is not too far from the beach, and convenient to Sandestin and many restaurants near by. The icemaker was broken during our stay, and the cushions on the outside patio chairs are very dirty (one looks like it has urine on it) & that needs attention. The overall patio needs to be cleaned, too.

The reservation and check in were very easy. We were able to take our 4lb teacup poodle with us, which was nice. When we arrived Saturday evening, we noticed a humming sound throughout the condo. Since the offices were closed we got to listen to it all night. We contacted them the next day and had someone come out to take a look at it. The humming quit when the people upstairs left on Sunday. The office did check on us several days, which was great. The humming started again on our last night there when people showed up upstairs again. And again, the office was closed, so we got to listen to it all night again. I called the office to let them know the morning we checked out, as well as another leak we found in the front bathroom. As far as the area, it was a very quiet area and the walk to the beach was easy. Also, the beach was private and that was nice.

Cute condo with nice furnishings and plenty of towels and kitchen supplies. Location is great, but unfortunately we were not informed that red tide was in the area, which made it impossible to be on the beach or nearby because of the respiratory irritation and coughing it causes. It also affected my dogs. The condo had not had the floors mopped and our feet were turning black, so I bought a swiffer mop and cleaned it. The back patio area needs attention and was not cleaned. Again, we swept it. The management was notified about several issues, clogged sink, disposal clogged, closet door falling off, dishwasher was left with dirty dishes in it. The water pipes whine loudly and kept us awake at night.Management did come and take care of the disposal, sink and door. They expect notification within 3 hours of arrival. Sorry, that is unrealistic and not my job to audit the property. I paid money with the expectation everything is in order. I paid 200.00 for bringing pets, I had to clean the floor to keep my dogs white! No smoking rules are great accept people smoke outside your doors, not appreciated! Smokers do more damage than my dogs! The storm door did not fit, and left a 2 inch gap at the bottom which allowed bugs and lizards to enter. This property needs attention from the owner! We would not rent again.
