El Área 51 es una hermosa suite temática extraterrestre y espacial de 1 habitación ubicada en el centro de New Castle, sobre Elk Creek Mining Company. Tiene una cocina completa y un comedor que está equipado con todo lo que necesita para preparar y servir sus propias comidas. Nuestro baño está equipado con artículos de tocador, toallas de baño y toallas de piscina para visitar las diversas aguas termales que se encuentran a 10 minutos. El dormitorio tiene una cama queen size, 55 pulgadas T. V., cable expandido, DVD / Blue Ray, Atari e internet de alta velocidad. Impressive Location, Comfy Accommodations

Great communication before and during our stay! It was great to find somewhere dog friendly in the cute little downtown area of New Castle! We thought we'd spend more time in Glenwood Springs than we did - New Castle ended up having great food options, and lots of fun places to explore and walk around. We'll be back for sure, thanks for a lovely experience!

Everything as advertised. Very comfy bed! Was able to charge my car overnight which got us most of the way home. Great place, would book again

Upstairs Rendezvous

We enjoyed dinner downstairs at the restaurant, went for a nice walk on a hiking trail nearby and had a nice evening in our room. A cozy enjoyable stay.

Loved it!

My other half and our dog stayed here for Christmas. It was all around awesome. The owner was great and helped us figure out which way to get there from CO Springs. The room was better than expected. We had an awesome time and will be back to see the other rooms! The restaurant downstairs is really good too. Thank you!

Great stay

Nice, comfortable unit with great amenities and was super clean for us! The Roku TV was convenient for us since it's what we use at home. The restaurant has delicious food with friendly and helpful staff. Big surprise bonus - there is a dog bathing room that is just across the hall from Area 51! Overall, we really liked our stay here and highly recommend!

Perfect for any art enthusiast

We were lucky enought to come a day early and was able to experience two rooms. One was the Iceberg Lounge and the other was Area 51. Both rooms had had great art work thru out A/C and full kitchens with eveythung you could need. Only conplaint is that we left shower stuff in the bathroom and my full size bottles of shampoo and body wash were thrown away and our luffa were left in the floor in the hallway infront of our new suite. Pretty gross. Had to go replace salon shampoo and all natural body wash in the middle of our vacation was a pain.

Great stay, well kept!

We only stayed for one evening but the apartment was very well kept and incredibly clever. The check-in process was a breeze, John was very COVID aware (which we appreciated, and we really enjoyed the theme of the room. We'll definitely stay again if we are back in New Castle!

Great owners and fun themes

The property owners are really nice and super helpful. The unique themes make the stay fun! It is in an old building so the walls/windows are a bit thin so you can hear a lot. We turned on the fan which really helped with the noise. Overall a great stay!

Area 51

We decided to rent one of John's VRBO units for a long weekend while we were visiting Glenwood Springs. We very much enjoyed our stay. The owner was personable and accommodating. The food at the restaurant downstairs was great as well. 5 stars. Thanks for having us John.

The best!

This was by far one of the best properties to rent around the area. It was full of the aesthetic of an Area 51 themed room! We were amazed. The room was comfortable and we weren’t bothered. It had a restaurant underneath and everyone was super great! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you for allowing us the pleasure!

Great place

We had a nice stay at the Ore House Inn in the Area 51 room. Comfortable bed, quiet room and well stocked kitchen. Easy access to Forest Service trails and Glenwood Springs.

5 HUGE STARS to AREA 51!!!

This place was absolutely amazing, clean and easy to find. The owner was very inviting and checked-in with me throughout our stay. The unit was conveniently located right above a restaurant which was nice to grab dinner. I plan to visit again and book @ The Ore House Inn but try another one of the theme rooms. Overall, it was a great experience!

A fun, clean room and super service

I can't say enough good things about our stay. John is a terrific host and goes out of his way to make sure that everything is just the way you want it. The suite is large with a great kitchen (full-sized appliances). Everything was clean and tidy. The UFO fan light in the bedroom is amazing and there are all sorts of geeky "Area 51" style details, plenty of games, DVDs, etc. We are picky about beds and the mattress on this bed is one of the most comfortable we have encountered in any hotel, B&B, VRBO, etc. anywhere. This is a fun place, and has far more personality than anything you're going to encounter in Glenwood Springs. Worth a little extra driving.
