Modern property in a great location

If you're visiting this beautiful part of Scotland, do not hesitate to book this property for your stay. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything in the property was modern and brand new - the huge TV, coffee maker, washer/dryer, etc. It was obvious that they spared no expense remodeling the place. When we arrived, we called Mairi, and within minutes Tony came out and explained everything about the property. Although we spent most of our time visiting the incredible sites of Glencoe, staying in a luxurious apartment contributed tremendously to the experience. We'd like to thank Mairi and Tony! Hope we'll have a chance to visit again.

My wife and I had a very comfortable stay here. Very clean, freshly remodeled, beautiful place to stay. Lots of beautiful areas to explore, awesome village really close for groceries, drinks and food. Glencoe is a must visit for a Scotland vacation.

Immaculate property with every amenity

Spotlessly clean, roomy living/kitchen area and above and beyond amenities (streaming video services and a combo washer/dryer). Perfect base camp for exploring many areas and even though close to the road, surprisingly quiet. I highly recommend this property to others considering lodging in the area.

Perfect Place Near Glencoe

We just spent 3 beautiful days here at this wonderful home. Clean as a pin on our arrival. Check in was a breeze. A well equipped kitchen with all the essentials was greatly appreciated. The living area and bedroom were cozy and comfortable. The area around the property is nothing short of stunning. Beautiful landscapes and great hiking option’s everywhere!! Just a heads up if you are visiting during a busy time; MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS!! Otherwise you might be cooking in or driving to Ft William. 🙂🙂. Our host had some great suggestions. One being a restaurant 2 minutes down the road. LaRoche. Probably the finest meal we had on our month long trip to the UK!

This is a cute little cottage.

This is a cute little cottage; great for 2 but not for 3. The only bathroom is upstairs off the bedroom and it is small. The bed is a double but the bedroom wouldn't allow for anything much bigger. Overall, the property is cute, quiet, and was in a great location for us. The owners couldn't have been nicer and offered great suggestions for dinner. Overall, a great stay.

Excellent, quiet and cozy

The host was wonderful and accomodations excellent. After a bit of headache dealing with changing flights, this was a great first stop to catch my breath and get into holiday mode. Charming, cozy and relaxing, plus it is close to Glencoe highlights without being in any tourist noise. Thank you!!

Coziest, quietest little cottage

We absolutely adored this cottage and are already figuring out when we can come back for a longer stay. It is so cozy and clean and quiet, and the electric fireplace just doubled the coziness. The kitchen was well stocked with basics, and they even provided plenty of tea and biscuits for our stay. The wifi was quite slow, but maybe that's a hint to disconnect when you can. Antony made plenty of suggestions for where we could explore in the area, and boy, are there so many things to do--hikes, nature walks, views, isles and other destinations either a few minutes down the road or a couple hours drive away. Or you can relax and just hang out at the cottage and watch tv, which we did plenty of and left feeling restored. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Cottage near Glen Coe

We had a wonderful stay at this seaside cottage - complete with every amenity we needed. Short walk to pub and hiking trails, short drive to two outstanding restaurants (make reservations!), and 15 min drive to the best scenic overlook in the Highlands. Look forward to returning for a longer visit.

Lovely Ballachulish apartment has everything you need.

Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean two story apartment is even nicer than it looks in the photos. It is very near the beautiful GlenCloe mountains, and a great place from which to tour the highlands, in a more intimate location than some of the bustling surrounding cities. We walked down the street to go kayaking in the loch, and had an excellent meal in the local restaurant/pub that mostly caters to locals. The owner was very easy to work with. I would definitely come back.

Excellent cottage!

The cottage had such a great atmosphere and was so very clean. It's a great base to see a number of things in the area. There are endless hikes. We did Steal Falls, the drive to Mallaig which included Glenfinnan, and we also traveled to Oban. My husband did some trout fishing. It was spectacular.

Great place. Great host!

This was a lovely place to stay and the host was so very friendly and accommodating! Beautiful and clean home. Close to amenities like groceries and plenty of things to see! The directions can be a bit confusing- I would suggest you ask the host for the actual address, or a point of interest near by to put in your GPS. I just think this might make it easier. Anyway, our host was so very helpful and this property is totally worth a visit - beautiful and peaceful! Have fun!

Quiet cottage on south of Loch Leven

Spotless, very comfortable and quiet cottage in easy to find location on Loch Leven. Perfect for us as a couple, lots of room and a full size kitchen should you want to stay longer than we did (2 nights) and cook for yourselves. The weather was superb and resulted in sensational sunsets of the Loch on both evenings - we've got some wonderful photos. Thanks to Tony, the owner, who provided all the info we needed prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

5-Star Cottage

This is one of the best properties we have ever rented. It was EVERYTHING as described. I can’t say enough good things. Anthony was so accommodating. I was quite ill with recently-contracted bronchitis/chest cold when we arrived but felt immediately as if I was home. Everything in the kitchen was to hand and convenient. Was able to recuperate and rest. Word of caution - there is only a double bed which was not what my husband and I are used to; but, it was advertised as such so no complaints. I simply missed it in the listing. If that is not an impediment for you, don’t pass this one up. It’s truly a gem!

A wonderful holiday cottage

What a beautifully furnished and comfortable home away from home. Everything we needed was ready and waiting to be used. The location was great and convenient to everything we wanted to do. . It was located next to an old slate quarry which was fascinating to walk around. And the Loch beside the property was beautiful. We are really glad we choose this cottage.

In search of Excellencei

Lovely compact cottage ideal for a couple. Lives up to all expectations as decscribed on the web. Facilities first class as is the service provided by the owners. Very happy to accommodate any requests you may have. Fantastic quiet location makes it an easy place to chill out. Only a five minute walk to the village which has a shop , pub,tourist information/coffee shop, hotel with eating facilities and a bank that opens two days a week!!!! Plenty of local walks both easy and strenuous. 10 mins drive to Glencoe itself and only approx14 miles to Fort William where Ben Nevis awaits you.Exciting boat rips from the local jetty.Local cycle paths and forest walks. No hesitation in recommending this property. Have stayed at this cottage approx 14 times in the past 8years and intend to continue visiting. Many thanks to Tony and Mairi for their hospitality and for making such an effort to ensure their properties are of the highest standard and that every one enjoys their holiday

A little bit of luxury!

Wonderful short stay in very comfortable, well equipped accommodation. Beautifully decorated interior, towels linen and little extras all of excellent quality. Bed, shower and bath all good. Communication with hosts was brilliant! Excellent location for exploring the Glencoe area, although definitely need a car! Good little supermarket a few minutes away and great water sports centre nearby too. Accommodation is very private but is not as secluded as ‘hideaway’ description suggested, a matter of metres away from the A82, and other cottages are close too. However, this did not detract from our own personal experience. We would stay again! Thank you
