The big draw for us was the hot tub and not staying in downtown Nashville. The hot tub was delightful and very clean! The house is small, but there was plenty of room for the four of us. The house isn't exactly on the river, it's at the top of a big bluff, with the river far below. The furniture is a bit dated, but we could see that in the listing, so it didn't come as a surprise. Mary was a wonderful host and communicated clearly and promptly. Thank you Mary, we truly enjoyed our stay.
Place excellently maintained in a nice neighborhood and plenty of accessibility with ease to many restaurants and venues. Definitely a five star in the Nashville area.
It was a great experience - our first Vrbo. House was in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to Nashville that it was easy to get to. Comfortable beds, spacious kitchen and living area, nice bathrooms and overall a very lovely house. I would recommend a stay at this rental.
This is a really nice house with a late 1950s/1960s ranch feel. Plenty of room. Words and pictures cannot adequately describe the view. I wanted to be out there for the entire stay. Very clean, no issues. great stay.
My girlfriend and I recently took a trip to Nashville to listen to music and see some sights. The property was incredible, with a nice view of the river to share with a cup of coffee. After a long day of seeing sights, the hot tub was nice & the house felt tucked away and quiet. Mary was incredibly accommodating and very responsive. We both loved our trip and would definitely stay here again!
The house is a great location. We were in Nashville with some friends that had a lot of knowledge of the area. They really liked the central location for all we did. It is only about 10 to 15 minute drive to downtown and a 15 minute drive to Opry Mills. The house has all the amenities that you would need. We had a short stay of only 3 days so we didn't use alot of the house. The weather was quite cold with snow while we were there so unfortunately we didn't spend anytime out overlooking the river, which is a beautiful view. The one added bonus is the hot tub. Even with the bad weather we did make sure we unwound at the end of the day and revived our muscles. I would highly recommend this home.
We had a great time! It’s just far enough away from busy downtown, but close enough to everything for easy access. Great view of the river and comfy quarters.
From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The views of the Cumberland River are amazing. The house feels like home. The host and cohost are very helpful and friendly. Even the neighbors are nice! All around great location and place. We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay here. Property was very clean and just enough room for the 6 of us. We enjoyed the view over the river every morning and hot tub at night. Was pretty close to downtown and all the places we wanted to go and see!
Going to Nashville has been on our bucket list for a while. The property was very well maintained and the host was very accommodating for our stay. You are in very close proximity for all of Nashville must sees, Grand Ole Opry, Downtown Nashville, etc. The host and co-host checked in with us when we first got there to make sure we were all set. Thanks Mary and Lydia for making our stay very enjoyable and memorable! For anyone reviewing my review this property is the place to stay!
This property was perfect for my birthday weekend. We had plenty of room and the view was AMAZING. We were able to Uber to downtown and even had Uber Eats delivered to the house. Next trip to Nashville I will for sure be checking into this house again.
I stayed with my sister and best friend, and we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, and the house is comfortable and clean. Just a short drive to downtown Nashville makes it convenient to enjoy both city life and the gorgeous scenery. Next time I'm in Nashville, I hope this place is available. I'd recommend it to anyone.
We had a great time! We were looking for a house that would be quiet and relaxing, but still close enough to all of the things we were interested in seeing and doing. This house was perfect! Plenty of room, the view from the backyard is very peaceful, loved the hot tub, and close to everything! The check in instructions were easy and the house had everything we needed for a quick getaway!
House is in a great and safe location. Had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. Mary and Lydia we very helpful, checked in with us frequently and answered all our questions.
The property is as described with very comfortable beds! It’s nice and clean! Beautiful view overlooking the river. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was fully stocked; had everything we needed. We would recommend this home to friends and family!
This place is a Nashville gem! Beautiful view, comfy beds, all the amenities. It is about a 15 minute drive or uber ride to everything. I would definitely stay again!
We loved this beautiful property. Lydia was a joy to work with and answered all questions immediately. The property was right on the river and very convenient for us as we were attending a conference at the Gaylord Opryland. Very comfortable, all the amenities we needed and we would all come back to stay in a heartbeat. The dining room is HUGE and we had a few extra ladies who were staying at the Gaylord join us for catered BBQ and it was so fun to be in a quiet, beautiful home to catch up. Beds comfy, plenty of towels, everything we needed to enjoy our trip.
Only hitch (not about the property) is that the Uber maps are wrong and most of our uber drivers got lost - Other than that, lots of thumbs up!
This is our best vrbo home yet!! Comfortable, tastefully decorated, and a great peaceful property with everything you may need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful view of the river and city. Would request another stay when we return to Nashville!

Why they chose this property
The house is located right on the banks of the Cumberland River and with a fantastic assortment of animals like the red tail hawk that lives on the bluff along with a fox and some wild turkeys that my wonder through the back yard from time to time.
What makes this property unique
Make sure to wave at the General Jackson as it comes by the house on the River and watching the barges and boat traffic is always entertaining on the weekends. There is a hammock out back and the trees are so big that you can always find a shady spot to nap!
